Most told me before I could even ask them. IIRC Amber was the only participant who went back to the Labyrinth. I still don't understand what "point" I had to prove. Yes, you did exactly as I predicted, but I only kept that to myself. I had no "point" because I seriously have no time to make a quest to show people are against me and they must be stopped or whatever. My issue is with anyone disrupting anyone's quests, and this is the last time I'm saying this. And you kind of posted the proof yourself that I did want to continue the quest. People were complaining from much earlier, but I only stopped it after the teleports to GG were replaced with the sendtodeathwhisper, because I found it unfair that Amber could pass through the East and reach back to the Laby easily. I knew nobody at that time who I could ask to send to GoE.

Its obvious here who's blinded, really. The only reason I stopped it was because people didn't want to participate anymore; they were fed up. And they knew that any attempt to go back would result in mass teleportation again. And you -seriously- think I have so much time to waste, that the purpose of my quest would just be to make this announcement... no comment. And I did PM Eon asking nicely to please not ruin the quest, but it was ignored and I cancelled it. I won't bother replying in this thread anymore unless its really necessary.

Yes, I definitely made a COMMUNITY quest for selfish reasons. Nice. Well no, I did not, I decided to have another shot at it. And I'm not an idiot, I know FULL well from the triggerbox and in chat in front of me, that Eon cast which spells, and you cast which spell. As for your final comment, and Eon's, well I don't want to copy-paste the email conversation with Council, but I've even been trying to tell them too, and now you all, that its NOT about me that I'm doing this. ANYONE who's quest is disrupted in this way deserves to have their quest safeguarded. I do think that anyone making a quest is helping out the community, for goodness' sake. I'm repeatedly saying this is not a personal issue, not about specifically me.

Aeo has pointed out many good reasons as to why quests should indeed be safeguarded. There are few nowadays anyway, and IMO those who are making quests should be given some sort of support. If not coding, then at least something so that they CAN run their quests. I never asked for punishment. I only asked for my quests to be safeguarded. I'm glad Council made the announcement. They too managed to convince me that since my quest was -entirely- community based (everything involved in chat; dependent on players), I was apparently directly involved in the social part of MD, and according to Council, the proper way to fix it would be through social means, not punishments to everyone who does... undesirable stuff. However, I still remain adamant that look, no matter how much you may hate me, I'm trying to make a QUEST which is helping the game you love become slightly more active than it usually is, at least for one day. Is that really too much to ask? That's what I found shocking from Council's replies; they used my personal issues as an excuse to not do anything about someone harming the community. A community quest is different, personal like or dislike is different, neither should be interfered with each other (or else you'll have stuff like what happened a couple of days back in the case of dislike, or popularity contests in the case of like)

Quest "suddenly" over due to the participants being tp-ed first to GoE multiple times (it was fine till then) and then to deathwhisper (thank dst!). However, I hope everyone had fun till it lasted...

The quest has begun! Here are the rules again, for anyone who forgets them, or for anyone who wasn't there in time. They may seem very restricting, but its just so that the quest is as fair as possible. 1) Nothing must be typed in chat. Chat must not be cleared. 2) No obfuscator allowed 3) No pickles allowed. Cake and tea is allowed. 4) Locate, chase, earfocus or any spells that reveal location are now allowed. 5) Teleport spells not allowed. If I've forgotten anything specific, and it is dishonest and is a breach to the quest, please do not do it. Play honestly and fairly and have fun :) To start, go right from the entrance of the Labyrinth. To end the quest, find Strongwilled Legna and PM both her and me with the coordinates of the scene she is at (or is supposed to be at :D), as well as the solution of the puzzle (what each thing in chat means). Good luck! Edit: quest ends at 10:00 ST on the 2nd.

Somebody has stolen DD's precious Ring! Gather at the Labyrinth entrance (MDA side) by 22 ST on Saturday the 1st to begin! This will be a puzzle-quest in which you will have to interpret chat-clues in order to know where to go in the Labyrinth. Hence, spells such as locate, teleport spells, chase, earfocus (or other spells that reveal a player or what s/he's said) are not allowed. Rewards are sponsored by Council. In addition, I'll be giving out silver depending on how well you figured out the puzzle (and didn't go just randomly :P) Good luck, and hope to see you there!

After the quest, I'll personally escort anyone who is "lost" :P And -maybe- we can switch it to Friday if more people prefer that (but the only time I can be free on Friday to start the quest is 20-22 ST)

I'd just like to know how many people would participate in a max 12-hour (from starting time) puzzle-quest in the Labyrinth, and if yes, then at what times on Saturday the 1st (ST), before I make the final preparations. It will be a race, of course, so participants may manage to finish it much earlier than 12 hours, but that is just the deadline :P The actual details and limitations of the quest would be revealed if there are enough participants to go ahead with it :) Edit: If anyone wants to participate but cannot make it on this day or on these times, please suggest in this thread :)
