1. Thank you Awi @Burns: I stared playing because No one was playing and he was bugging me to make an account. To be honest at the beginning I hated the game cause No one was playing it a bit too much while I had nothing to do. Then I saw that it was fun and I started to play more and more. I had no intention to cause any chaos. It just happened. No, I am not a friend of Mur and his phone number is/was posted somewhere on the site (I don't remember exactly where) so everybody can have it.

4.
And hey! Kid'o (Remember Casablanca movie) Let's admit few facts 1# Do you agree that the game is giving (taking) us great time? 2# Do you agree tha Manu's personality (ego and some of his personal values) are present in our game? Mur is a god here.
I wish that the other supranaturals signs on a forum
If you are ok with the 1# & 2# and if Muratu (s) comes and say "Hey, I need your help" you say "shure just don't mixt in my game" And Mur shold hear then "don't mixt in my Role Play" I lost my camera
Of course I agree to the fact that the game is giving (taking) us great time. See my first post when I stated some of my reasons for not leaving. And of course I agree that Manu's personality is present everywhere. He designed the game for god's sakes and he is indeed the almighty god when it comes to MD. But that doesn't make him infallible . I obeyed all his "orders" but in the same time I ranted when I did not like the decisions. As for the "Hey, I need your help" thinghy and "don't mix in my game" it's not how it was/will be. I have nothing to lose in this game (except the hole account ) so I would not say things like: I help you BUT. There is no BUT in there. Ego? I have an ego when it comes to lots of things and there are few things where I have no ego at all. It all depends on the situation.
Now, a question: You realize you're not as evil as you say? Not as pure a grinder as you say? You admit to having a (questionable) role, liking Baldur's Gate and thus you probably like quests and stories. You like trying new and fun ways to nudge the realm towards unbalance to see how people would respond. Actually roleplay is about doing little things and seeing how other players respond, what happens next. Whether or not roleplaying yourself is an interesting or a challenging role, is up for debate. And why not try the nudging on a smaller scale, afraid you'll like it? We really should have an 'interview with a stat grinding godmodder', one who wont report bugs but keep them secret, will get upset when accused of abuse or when noticing things don't go as expected. Or purposely destroy the game because someone did not respond the way it was desired. The kind of person that does not accept criticism and wont like being interviewed about that. But since you're the 'evil' one, maybe you should suggest a candidate for that interview?
I don't think I said anywhere I am the evil incarnated or that I am a pure grinder (this is what you all said not me and I just "adopted" the name). Smaller scale? Like what? Cause frankly I cannot think how I can do that at a smaller scale. I told you: I see opportunities and I take them. If I have an idea and the system allows me to put it in practice I go for it. And hey! I kind of like big things . And I cannot give you a candidate cause honestly I know none. It's up to you to find one (or create one). I cannot help in this area. Sorry...
5. Sorry for what Treehill? I was about to propose you the same thing but I had no time to make arrangements with any of the RPCs. So I think it's a good idea and I highly support it. And he**! i don't trust you either
6. C'mon Jester! Pull yourself together and make a jesterific Jesterfest! I bet there will be others that will help you. You just need to ask
7. <!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Question1: are you aware that the gratest damage that you do is not what you do yourself but you influence others to do by your example?<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd--> Yes Mur, I know <img src="http://magicduel.invisionzone.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />. And you know that I know. And that\'s why you are afraid of the damage I can cause. I cannot break MD at a technical level and you know that also <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />. Maybe that is my real power and not the stats that I gathered or the wp or the spell docs or whatever. MD is a game where power is not measured in attack points (he** Cless has more than me but, no offense Cless, more players know me than him) but in reputation points (not even that friends list is important*). <!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Question2: You said that the fighting part is more developed than the RP part. How do you see the RP part in a more developed way? i see the two depend on each other not separated, its just a matter of how you use them, but i would realy like to hear your opinion about how RP could be improved since you don;t consider yourself a rplayer.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd--> Honestly? I don\'t have the slightest idea. Why? Because MD is not a common game. Before MD my favorite game was Baldure\'s Gate (I even bought the french version of the game <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" /> and I don\'t know even the basics of french language). That is what I call a good RPG game. MD is the world that allows each and everyone of us to become the person we want to be (smart, strong etc etc) even if doing this by being a warrior, healer, mage, dog, wolf whatever (I am waiting for the player that will choose to play a stone\'s role <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />). Maybe the fact that there are almost no rules and features (except basic ones) for RP-ing helps the RP-ers the most. They are free to do whatever they want. They have the absolute freedom. What you could do to help? No idea... Maybe nothing cause in the moment you will bring rules and new features you will create some paths they will have to follow. So a part of the freedom will be lost or even worse:you\'ll reduce the game to a normal go there, click that, talk to NPC X ...tada! You\'re a delicate glass vase <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> You really made me thinking with this question <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> cause I never though on how to improve the RP-ing system. Why? Because it\'s not my target. Ask the RP-ers. I honestly cannot give you an answer(other than the one I gave you above). I am a total noob when it comes to ideas for RP-ing <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />. He** I have been editing this post for almost an hour now and I cannot reach another conclusion. <!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->You answered several times you did some things \"because you could do them\". RP is about self discipline, about things you can do but you think before doing. I see RP as something beyond the tehnical limitations and what you do is to point out that tehnical part can mess things. Of course it can, MD like anything else is far from perfect tehnicaly. And metaforicaly speaking you act like a kid that breaks a delicate glass vase \"just because he can\".<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd--> Strangely as it may seem I am not a hasty person: I do not throw myself in before thinking of possible consequences. But I choose the risk. This is not a role, it\'s the real me: yes a spoil brat that breaks the delicate vase cause she can. As for the technical part you know pretty well that every single bug and exploit that me or No one found (or the ones that were reported to us) I reported to Shoeps and in the end to you when he failed to do it. Remember when No one called you cause the offline attack bug was way out of hand? Discovering those bugs, exploits was part of the fun we had. I think that you, allowing players to (ab)use bugs and exploits they find was a big mistake. You had your reasons and I think i understand them but in the end it led to creating players like me. I don\'t know if I answered your questions (I tried my best given the few hours of sleep I had and the complexity of your second question <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> ). If not...feel free to ask more. I am always open to discussion <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />. After all I started the topic, right? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> * I bet that 70% of the ones that have me on their friends\' list are not playing. And I believe that being an LHO helps a lot with the ranking (see the case of Sagewoman) **You know why I didn\'t post on the poll about Shoeps\' return? Cause I knew I could swing some of the opinions. I saw the topic minutes after you posted it but I chose not to answer. In the end it seems I made a wrong decision but that\'s another story. Btw: Chewett, the system doesn't let me use as many emoticons as I want to. I received this:"You have posted a message with more emoticons that this board allows. Please reduce the number of emoticons you've added to the message". Please, I need my emoticons! <!--quoteo(post=30312:date=May 5 2009, 07:33 PM:name=Willem RedBeard)--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Willem RedBeard @ May 5 2009, 07:33 PM) <a href="index.php?act=findpost&pid=30312"><{POST_SNAPBACK}></a></div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Anyways, I suppose my question is: within the actual Magicduel universe (you know, the little girl in the cube, Shades, loreroot, etc) how does your role actually integrate? I can see what you do on the technical level and with the mechanics of the game, but I don't see how that actually integrates with the universe of Magicduel itself.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd--> Willem, I got a role without me even wanting it <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> (until Mur told me I was not even aware of the fact that I do have a role). There is no integration like Braiton's role for example. Or Wodin's. And I don't "work" on integrating my role. I just do things as ideas pop into my mind or as opportunities show up (again not hasty but after considering the consequences). <!--quoteo(post=30313:date=May 5 2009, 07:49 PM:name=GgSeverin)--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (GgSeverin @ May 5 2009, 07:49 PM) <a href="index.php?act=findpost&pid=30313"><{POST_SNAPBACK}></a></div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Question for anybody who saw DST in RL: Is DST a girl? I will believe (accept? hmm...) that very hard.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd--> Even if the question is not addressed to me I will answer it: few players saw me in RL and more heard me talking in chat rooms on YM. And now a question from me: why don't you believe it? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> You're the "I believe when I will see" type of guy? Cause I am <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
8. Right now yes, MD is split into RP-ers and fighters. Occasionally the RP-ers fight but they do it in the dojo or by asking for rits (most of them). Occasionally fighters RP mostly by chatting, exchanging ideas about rits, stats doing tests or just babling between 2 fights. Right now I can think at only two players that do both and ironically they are both women (Peace and Ailith). But maybe at this time of night I am too tired to think to much . And as far as I know, yes! Manu wants to make us all role players cause this is a RPG game even if as I said many times before the combat system is at this moment superior to the RP system. Yes, I do. I like my status. Otherwise I would have tried to change it. But I have no intention of doing such a thing mainly because (this is really really funny) it is my role  and I am having fun with it
9. Hmm..bad publicity? I think I have it and still manage to survive and to get noticed. Or am I wrong? O_O
10. 1)With the ally thing we used 2 scripts: 1 to buy crits and sac the heat and 1 to sacrifice crits and sac heat. As for the attacking thing: no, I do not use a script. 2) I didn't. I am still evil inside . You know that for a long time I played a man's role. I did it how I imagined a man would react (tough, merciless etc). I changed when I had no reasons to hide anymore. But even if I don't act like that I still can cause damage and chaos and other bad things. Just because some things never change PS: I have no clue how to write a script(or at least not one for this sort of games) so the bad guy that did it is No one (that's why I say he is the brains behind most of my actions)

Happy B-day! May you live long and happy! And spawn some more tin cookies (or whatever they were...)
12. Since lately I became the most used bad example and ranting towards player in MD I though I should give you all a chance of doing it properly (on a separate topic). I started with a mini interview. In case you have other questions please be free to post them and I will try to answer them all. This was initially a reply to Mur's post in the class thingy topic but then I thought that it's too offtopic and that I really need to do this. So..prepare your words and start posting. One thing I want to ask: be decent (don't use bad words or if you do censor them please) My name is DST and I am a grinder (remember this Mur? ) or stats farmer or bug abuser or whatever you want to call me. I haven't gain stats since almost a month now. Why? Cause I know I can do it anytime and I know how to do it and because I am starting to get bored. Why don't you leave then? Cause it's too much fun. If at the beginning it was fun cause MD is really a special game and it was a challenge for me now it became my constant source of fun and I mean quality fun (not that I don't have other sources but MD is instant fun). It's too much fun watching people ranting about me and what I do, it's too much fun to being a pain in the back for some of the players (and I am not talking about Mur here cause if he wants me out he can simply ban me), it's too much fun to see how players react to some of the things I say or do. Why don't you go play WOW? I was about to when I found MD . Lucky MD! And I don't think I can handle more than 2 games at once and I am playing something else between 2 quests in MD.And again...see the answer above. Why do you like creating chaos and mess? At the beginning simply because I was able to. Now because I am able to and it's fun . You all praise role playing. Guess what? I do have a role (thanks Mur for opening my eyes) and it's that of a chaos creator. And the only reason why I stop doing and saying things is because I might hurt some of the players (not to many but they are) that I care about more than someone can imagine a DST can care (I do have a softer side but you need to know how to reach it). Why are you against RP-ing? I am not against RP-ing! He**! you can RP as long as you want from my point of view. I have something against the ones that accuse me of bad RP-ing. I don't accuse them of bad fighting! And has anyone of the accusers thought that THIS is how I want to play the game? That as long as there are crits, players and the attack button I will do it? Funny but in my opinion the fighting system is more advanced (and has lots more features) then the RP-ing one. And it seems it improves as time goes by (see the tokens, the changes Mur is making (while I am writing this ) to the honor and loyalty system. Don't you get tired of being punished? Hmm...no if I am punished for doing something. I am pissed when I am being punished for things I have not done based on rules that say (RPCs are infallible). And you all know what I am talking about. Oh wait! I was not punished back then. I chose to QUIT even if the announcement said I was fired . What are you trying to prove? Nothing. I don't need to prove anything cause I already did
13. What? Why? What happened?
14. About that...maybe we can make a topic called MIA (I was thinking first of RIP but I am not that morbid) for players who achieved things in this game but for some reasons left/stopped playing etc.

16. Me too (I don't know if fiftieth exists....hmmm it does or so says my dictionary...)
17. Thank you watcher for your kind words. BUT we "the weakest role players" in MD are probably the best fighters in MD and we know almost everything about stats (gaining, how they work etc etc). I can't care less about the idea Guy had. When I started playing MD it was not a role playing game (even if it was called like that) and I don't intend to change my style (and I think I did enough things to beat even the best RP-ers in MD -yeah I am not modest cause I don't need to). So, all I personally did was showing Guy where I saw some of the flaws in his idea.If he wants to take them into account fine by me if not...fine by me . But I hate to see false statements about what I know for sure that is true. Again: I can't care less about those sort of things(RP ideas, improvements etc etc). I take them as they come (adopt them or try to stay away). For me MD is still a fighting game (with some nice quests occasionally). As long as there are crits I can use and players to attack I will consider MD a fighting game (moreover the battle system gets more improvements then the RP -see the tokens ). But enough said: I hope I made my point. If not I will try better next time.
18. That for the moment there is no solution (as far as I remember but my memory tends to trick me so I am not that sure).
19. You got it wrong Guy. You said that only few stats are important and I told you that all stats (ok..maybe except trade sense at this point) are important. And I was saying that you cannot create a class based only on 1 stat. You must combine them; attack with def for warrior, regen and briskness for healer. As for the power...I think it's one of the less important stats (again...at the moment cause things can change in the future) cause your crits always life steal a percent which has nothing to do with the actual power. I have more than 500 power but I do the same life stealing as any other player. Power DOESN'T work at this point. As for init, it should be combined with attack and def for the warrior class. Not be a single class. Conclusion: classes based on a single stat are not effective and you cannot implement them.
20. You should also have a medal...which I don't see on you. So there might be a problem...
21. Are you kidding me? Do you have any idea how important initiative and briskness are? A good spells casting class MUST include briskness as a requirement. As for init...sometimes being the first to strike makes you the winner of a battle even if the enemy is stronger. Not to mention luck which is so rare but soooo good....
22. You cannot gain all stats through sacrificing (at least not with the current system anyway). Only 5 stats are gain from saccing and 2 of them are really really low (under 10 points when you sac a crit with enough wins). And you cannot raise only certain stats (except attack). You get certain combinations based on the damage you do and other variables. And it doesn't depend only on you but on your opponent as well. Right now i don't see how this can be implemented without a major change of the way the stats are gained. As for MRD he has attack and def but the other stats are low. So he would be probably a warrior not healer, wizard.
23. I never ever thought of putting those poems into the news paper. I posted it for fun since everybody was so serious. A little smile doesn't hurt anyone.
24. First of all congratz: those are really nice poems (I usually hate poetry ) but I enjoyed several of those above. I stink when it comes to poetry but still....some of my favorites. Enjoy: Roses are red, Violets are blue, Dead dogs stink And so do you! Roses are red, Violets are blue Please don't cry! Frankenstain was ugly too! Roses are red. Violets are blue. Please don't kiss me, 'cuz I have the flu. Roses are red. Violets are blue. I may look stupid, But so do you! Roses are red And, frankly, a bore. Give me jewelry instead Or I’ll show you the door! Roses are red Violets are blue There's a bug on the carpet So give me your shoe! _____________________________________________________________ The following is by Dark Trial And in this same vein... Roses are #FF0000 Violets are #0000FF All my base are Belong to you
