Right We are looking for poets and poetry for the MagicDuel Newspaper, as the title of this thread might suggest. So post, as responces to this thread poetry which you'd like to be included into the paper. Only the best will get put in The poem does not have to be MD related, but we might give preferance to those that are. Hello all! As was discussed in Nimrodel's topic, efforts have been underway to revive the Newspaper, formerly known as the Golden Globe Gazette. I have been working on getting things setup for over a year now, and things are finally at a point that we can move ahead. Newspaper Revival Working with a small team of players, the new team will be writing articles about the large events that occur each year in MD, as well as the smaller player initiatives like quests and role-play events that might otherwise be missed. Reading about all the Murders happening in MD, I was kinda missing the MDNP. The AL is at a standstill. So is the MDNP. ANyone interested in reviving the MDNP? If there are enough number of people willing for it, I might gather the articles and start a wix page to create an MDNP, untill it becomes strong enough to turn it into an official paper.

MDNP has been dead for well over two years since the last issue. It is time for a revival effort. With the permission of the Lords of MD (Mur, the Council), I would like to take a stab at this. Now, my writing skills are not amazing, nor are they something to aspire to. However, I can edit, monitor, and manage the MDNP. This will take some time to get going properly, but I am looking for the first issue to be written by the middle of the month. Then edited, organized, and printed by the end. You may have noticed a decline in the activity of the Newspaper. "What Newspaper?" I hear you call...well yeah, hence the recruiting. We're hoping to get fresh blood into the newspaper, and to liven up the current staff. If you're not currently a staff member and if you can write a piece about something that's happened recently in MD, within the next 2 weeks, and submit it to either Myself, Shadowseeker, or Gargant, then we will give you $5 in credits and offer a position on the staff.
