Today marks another personal achievement: after almost 2 years since it was first implemented, I was able to create a Bottomless Toy Chest using the tool in Willow's Shop.
I think it's the first chest created this way (the other 2 were awarded by Mur).
So, another challenge down, bring on the next one!
The last achievement for which I needed this much time was the Morph Collection. Can't wait for a new one!

Weird, they have been "running" but not working. I have added much more debug information and manually ran it so its melted. Next year I will see if I can see whats up with it

It seems this is going on for some time now.
Snowmen have not melted since 2015!
I would have not noticed if it weren't for BFH to send me a CTC for a snowman. I could not take it cause it's not melted.
Then I checked the ANNs in order to see if this year we had a meltdown. To my surprise, the last meltdown was "manually" done by Chew:
Am I missing something here? Or is this indeed a "buggity-bug"?

I must say this again, it is ABSOLUTELY USELESS for me to get theoretical values, or ranges. All this info i can get myself from the db. What is harder to get, is what i asked for, namely, "how much you obtained in the last 7 days". A script would give me precise values, your answer would have given me subjective values, and that was what i was looking for...an imperfect answer to reflect what you think the values are for YOU.
 
I will close this topic now because i am angry, this was supposed to be a really simple question, if this one can't be answered because all of you try to think too much and give too smart answers or try to do math...exactly what i don;t need...then future similar feedback , that would have saved me many days of work, are pointless.
 
For the future, please understand, that i am not asking such questions because i am incapable of finding exact answers myself, but because i am unable to find out YOUR answers. Coding is like math, a precise thing, accurate. You either do it ultra exact, including all sorts of things in the calculations to actually predict such values if you can't know them, or, the fast and actually better way, obtain feedback from you. Even guessing random values would have been more useful.
It reminds me of a recent testing, when i needed to know what resources are reachable by a new player. If done by me with some script, the answer would have been totally wrong, because a new player will not exploit all palces that he could. The human "error" is incredibly hard to estimate theoretical...thats why actual values from you are much much more valuable for what i need.
 
I hope at least now you understand why i request such feedback instead of just doing it all myself.
 
Plus, this is a way to see who actually gets involved and does something to help, it is an awesome reason to create an activity for someone so that i can have a covert reason to reward those of you that are more active and helpful...i guess you didn't see that either.
 
 
ps. last couple of answers where close to what i was hoping to get, but the overall stress with this subject so far is not worth it. Sadly nobody will get the unannounced reward for this.
 

Actually, the answer is simpler then that: those that really do the work don't know. We just do it and the amounts gets mixed.
Will you be happy if I make it public that I gathered about 200 water in 2 days ? or about 100 herbs in those 2 days ? Well ... I can't say it. I am not sure.
 
On the other hand ... there is that thing about those involved ...
... the IQ didn't dropped that much to see the question as DUMB. When you have access to logs & logging or even better : create logs,  ... you pretend to want help from others to get how much is gathered ? really ? When you can do a list of every single moment one of us even pushed a button ? Sorry.
You said we were idiots for gathering with no purpose ... well, that's how we liked to play. You messed the system and again you left it unfinished.
You clearly stated that you don't want care what other want ... well we just want to play, to play a game we enjoyed to play.
So, get you IQ a reality check with general population's and don't cock off, you're not that bright either.
 
 

Hey All-
Today is my last day within the MD Realm. Casually, I spent the last few days exploring all lands, to my surprise, I discovered two scenes I never saw before! Then I didn't imagine that it would lead to a perfect farewell, but so it happened, the last walk through MD.
*Ambitions: I guess I fulfilled most of my personal ambitions for MD. Although I never became King! Shame! I will proudly call myself the King of Nothing!
*Moments: One of my favourite MD moment was one of the times I played Confused Santa. That night two of us played the account, so the shifting personalities confused a lot of people. That was Hilarious!
*Contributions: I will brag for once, cause it is my final post!
Active LHO for quite some time. Active MP6, one with the most adepts at the time. Got me the MP6 Token of Promise. MD's Advertiser: Promoted MD in over a hundred Top Lists and took over MD's social media for various years. Did much secret stuff I can't talk about! Hehe! Ps. if you care for the game, voting for it is essential. Hosted several events and several quests: MD Summer Festivals, MD Xmas Festivals, many random trivia, etc.  Hosted a couple of Christmas and Anniversaries. Now, this often involves sacrificing lots of time and having to play secretly a couple of admin accounts so that you as a member of the community can have some fun. So show some appreciation for the admins that play this in the background!  Got code access, played Testy account and was Dude2 in announcements before my name was released to the public. It was interesting realizing how big and complex is MD, codewise.  Became MP1, Mur decided to experiment with my account and broke it! Thank God I had code access and reverted my Mind Power level, else I would still be stuck! My message. As a normal player, I built my reputation, earned trust, and gained the maximum access the game, full admin and code/server access. You can accomplish even more! Get involved. Contribute to the development of the game. Give ideas, bring in new players. Don't be afraid to comment and step-up.
Today, I say farewell to a community I've known for almost nine years, a community I contributed to. All I can say is thanks for the great moments and the not so great ones. It made me a better human being.
To Chew and Mur, I will say keep up the good work. Keep MD alive. Think about the few suggestions I made you both.

But on the other hand, it doesn't have a king either.
 
The kings are / were elected from a well defined group called "alliance". As it has no alliances ... NC king is just RP. A queen of NC ... just another RP role.
 
On the other hand ... Dst could claim more rights on NC then you currently have. Lets be real : Dst conquered Necrovion.This is the first time a land has been really conquered.
 
Now ... I don't say that NC should be closed for good, but there should be some spoils of war and Dst should be included in deciding the future of NC.

Hey guys, this is my rain collector prototype!
haha, hope i can get a wishpoint and permanent rain collector~

Materials list:
- Softbox w/ bag (main part)
- Transparent lunch box w/ cloth, large & fine gravel, cotton (filter)
- Vacuum cleaner hose, PVC pipe (accessories)
- Carrying bag/backpack (container)

Instead of a normal umbrella, i used a softbox for the main part, softbox is an enclosure designed to fit around an artificial light source, and it is weatherproof ,sturdy, extremely portable just like a good umbrella but inverted already! it also come with a little bag. : P

Btw i forgot my pen so i made it with some grasses on the floor...

It is a rectangular softbox, i removed the outer diffuser and taped a tube & vacuum cleaner hose on it

DIY simple water filter - i combined two transparent lunch boxes and filled with some gravel, cotton & cloth for different layers.

Full set equipped, i think the best way to use the rain collector is attach the hose to main part and get water directly, you don't need a water filter in portable version, but it is optional.

Concept art - This is the extended version of my rain collector, i just want to show u another reason to use softbox because it can fit with different attachments easily, like a heavy duty light stand, so you can have bigger or more water filters etc.

1) My first drawing quest from Lintara, after i visited the Loreroot. I was thinking sth like a historical remain/ ancient altar/ magic array…etc. with symbol/puzzle elements. I tried to match the MD art style, even used the similar fonts & texture!

As the title says its a regular Hangman style tournament with a few tweaks. You have a Sick patient and you need to save him!! What do you have to do to be a part of it? Register! Post your Player name and Player ID here in the thread to get registered. The registration ends on 18th of this month at 11.59 ST. Then you will be pitted against each other.
So what so you do in this game? 
1. You gather 3 words for 3 rounds for this game.
Each word should've been mentioned somewhere in the MD Wiki.
It should be less than 15 letters in total.
Can be a set of multiple words like 'Marind Bell' but should be less than 15 letters in total.
The word should not be a player's name and should not contain any special characters in it.
2. I have my 3 words. What next?
You will go against a player selected randomly for 3 rounds per player.
Before the start of each round, the opposing player will send me the word by FORUM pm. I will present the word to the attempting player to guess. For example, if the opposing player gave me the word Marind Bell, I will present the word to the attempting player as - _/_/_/_/_/_ + _/_/_/_
The attempting player will Guess one letter. For example 'L'. Then I will mark all the L's in the word and present the letter as _/_/_/_/_/_ + _/_/L/L
If the person guesses a wrong letter, For example 'Z', It counts as 1 strike against the attempting person.
Each player gets upto 9 strikes in total over all the three rounds. 10th wrong attempt will mean the game will end irrespective of how many rounds are remaining. Unless you have certain Tools.
3. You mentioned Tools! What are they?
Each Player will get 5 tools to help them out during the course of the game. They are:
1. Murder: Kill the Man Instantly. Can be used by the opposing player at any point of the game. Attempting player loses the round instantly.
2. Slice off a Limb: Can be used by the opposing player at any point of the game.  Adds a strike from the attempting team's total number of guesses. After the round is over, the effect gets canceled and the original strike count is back into consideration. For example, if the Attempting player has 8 strikes will now. And the opposing player wants to slice a limb off, the total strikes of the attempting player will increase to 9 for that round and the next mistake means he is out of the game. However if he manages to complete that round, his total strike count goes back to 8.
3. Xray: The attempting player can use this at any point of the game. Select one empty slot. All the slots with the same letter in the word will be exposed.
4. Antibiotic: The attempting player can use this at any point of the game. Their strike count reduces by one for that particular round. After the round, the strike count gets back to the original count. for example, if the attempting player has 9 strikes, they can use this tool to reduce their strike count to 8. after the round the strike count will be back to 9.
5. Philosopher's Stone: attempting team instantly wins the round. Can be used after the player gets 9 strikes to win the round as well. This can also be used to continue the round after the opposing player uses the Murder tool. And vice versa. The opposing player can use the Murder tool right after a player uses the Philosopher's stone tool.
Each tool can be used only once by one player over the course of the match. Effect ends with the end of that round. They reset with Every new match along with the strikes.
4. You explained all those BS rules which I probably wont understand till i actually play the game, but you never told me how to win!!!
The person winning the maximum number of rounds wins and goes to the next stage of the tournament. 
5. Ok.. But What if there is a tie?
I will give the tie breaker word. The chance to guess the letter will alternate with each guess between the players. The first person to guess the word wins. The person with the lesser number of strikes gets the choice to choose whether they want to go first or second. If there are any unused tools left, they can be used in the tie breaker as well.
I know it sounds a little complex, it'll be way easier to understand once you start playing!
6. WAIT A MINUTE! YOU FORGOT THE MOST IMPORTANT PART! What about the rewards?
Apologies. I almost forgot. If there are 5 or more than 5 players, there will a wishpoint for the first place and 5g for the second. if there are less than 5 participants, 5g for the first place and 3g for the second. The plushies and anni crits sponsorship will be decided by the TKs. Good Luck! Let me know if there are any doubts.
