    Give me one to two months (which is a short prep time in MD), and the will to actually bother doing it for proof..and i'll be past that value. Burns is one of the most active fighters in realm...do you think many alliances can match up to it? Add alt abuse and/or several people fanning the flames and it could even be weeks. You also ignore the issue of guilds, which are not supposed to be fighting related. Surely it encourages the keep what you have mentality, but isn't it a bit pointless to have alliances shifting like this? They are part of the land, not some trophies you can shuffle around just because you wish to. Wars? Pah. You enter an ally, kick everyone, move the ally to your own land? I don't think thats...a very good game, because it would cause a big amount of hectic activity of such plots. Sure, it depends on how you see it. But an alliance does have a role, what would GoTR do in GG for example? It's a bit pointless if you ask me with some. Edit: Oh and..not to mention it puts a hold on recruiting for a long time. Do you want to invite new people when they may be alts?

    Er..I think you still dont get the case I mean. Example, I get invited into Necro sentinels, gain leader, kick everyone out. Request to move to GG which is accepted. YOu think that's a good idea? Even if mur makes it so that 10 people have to agree to the moving..I just invite 10 people from GG, who then vote yes. Big mess.

    This is said as a mod: This is a topic about alliances, not about you Rhaegar, nor the conflict between you and Marv. You were allowed to toss your cents in, but if this goes more offtopic I'll add warn lvls,/delete posts/do the stuff mods generally do when cleaning up.

    I'm just pointing out the trouble.. Imagine, someone takes LotR, GG, and Necro and shoves them into MB. (example) Don't you think thats a tad too abusive? All he would have to do is invite some henchmen, who agree to move. Done. It would cause great imbalance in case of wars.

    Which in return would be a much much greater loss. The one thing that's a problem with this..once someone steals an alliance, they can shift lands as they like if the kings accepts.
  7. It gives off more of the vibe of a youthful wanderer, explorer. Not someone who has settled down. Only because of that I would say no, although the picture is done pretty well.

  9. I name..3. For beginners. 1 from lakes, 2 from rain...and not given out to some random alt, but someone who'd actually agree to trade the water fairly if needed and not abuse it. I'd put a better limit on the lake one, so they get a regular, big harvest if they do continually do it..but however, the rain can suddenly create bursts..different magnitudes of the gathering could be interesting. The best getting 3 water from rain, instead of just 1? The biggest issue still lies within the fact that we don't know how much water will be needed in future..if it were me, I'd put 3 out now, and add more accordingly as the holder abuses it/doesnt use it/etc. I suggest a contract of some sort. You give out, loan the tools. If they don't do their job, you can confiscate the item and something they agree to put as security. In return they get to enjoy the profit of collecting water for trades...which should benefit them.

  13. Preview..it's the risk, if you encounter someone random on the streets will you know what he carries with him? And, the storyline actually does change..if it doesnt for you, then your choices still are ...clear in a certain direction. The chapters you see should uncover different things.

I came upon a bug in the logs which are available: Since recently (can't say when, probably when Mur [s]broke[/s] fixed some stuff with items) item transfer logs won#t show the names, only the date and time of transfer. Example: Current Owner Previous Owner Shadowseeker 13/08/10 00:18 Shadowseeker 13/08/10 00:11 Also won't show in the yellow hover box you can unlock in MD shop.

  16. Isn't he already capped out anyways? It would be funny to see the reaction if he did get several mil exp, and if he is going to be so proud I'm almost sure it will happen sooner or later.. But on the other hand, right now this is just proof that the combat system works better again..before I have no doubt he would have stood no chance.

  18. There is something called a sanctuary for those who dislike getting hit upon..you could always move in and out of that to fight. Assuming you find some people to train with. But racking up 50 losses..sounds as if you go idle somewhere to me, or stay in the same place for a long time. 100 losses more isn't unbalanced as well, it's getting risky from 700-800 losses more, as the skilldamage is at 1000.
  19. And, remember, I offer 200. 9*15=135, which is less.
  20. A heat storage, which also degresses over a long time. Means, alliances which fight can store their heat instead of worshipping, also getting loyalty, since it funds the treasure. The heat gathered will decline slowly, but MUCH more slowly than usual. This heat can be transferred to non fighters. In return, they'd..give something to the fighters, which the alliances determine themselves.
