1. While this is no solution to the bug, you might be able to us jump to leader or other teleportation spells to move out, temporarily solving the trapped problem. Update: seems like this is a global problem. I'm getting the same message on raven's peace and oak fort as well. Teleportation spells work fine, but once I want to move via arrows, I'm stuck.
2. I personally think there should not be a land-affiliated guild (and since guilds need land affiliation, then maybe no guild at all) for memory stones, if the gathering tools are going to be tied to be usable only by citizens of that land. The reason is unlike other resources, memory stones is a feature that affects much, much more people as there are spellcasters (and people who want to cast spells) everywhere. Limiting it to a single land would, IMHO, inevitably limit the spread of the feature. It would happen even if the land where the guild is placed is neutral, because people can't gather the stones without becoming a citizen of said land, and therefore locked out of the possibility of gathering the stones if they choose to remain loyal to their current land. That said, if the gathering tools are not set to same land only then it would not be an issue. If I do have to choose a land for the guild to be based on though, I think MDA is the most suited because archiving is in essence the preservation of memories, so a resource that does just that seems most suitable to MDA.
3. I'm interested, but timezones are a problem to me :< Last time I participated in the SG event I weren't even able to do a single battle since I can't meet my designated opponents online. That said, if anyone is interested in forming a team for people who are online around 18.00-20.00 server time, please let me know.
4. Well IIRC for the other resources they are intended (that behaviour was even mentioned specifically in the announcements). I'm guessing that it's partly meant so people won't just extract as much resource as they can due to the hassle of only being able to transfer all the bulk at once.
5. I knew you were both sisters and close in age, but I didn't know you were twins! xD
6. Aside from ap cost being affected by viscosity influenced by how often people go there, I would suggest a cost personalization based on number of times a person has been there as well (visits here), probably as a function with diminishing returns reducing AP cost by a certain %. This would make people who often visit a certain place capable of moving more freely on that area (could also spawn various interesting "explorer" roles). And while we're at it, instead of just AP cost, why not make viscosity influence exploring points costs as well (some places might take less AP, but require some Xpl)? Right now those are almost unused since they are only consumed when you first explore a scene, so this might be a good chance to put them to use again.
7. On the concept of "limited cast", I think you've mentioned somewhere that when we cast a spell, we leave a part of ourselves there, used up a portion of ourselves. Running with that theory, I think it is logical that spells have a limited number of cast. For "temporary spells", you leave parts of yourself containing the memory of that spell as you cast them, and when you've consumed all parts of yourself that is connected to that spell.. *poof*. You no longer can use them. Even with permanent spells we have limited casts because we cannot use up so many parts of ourselves at once (without serious consequences), but with rest, some part of us might regenerate, allowing us to once again cast the spell, perform the ability that is already engraved in yourself.
8. Available for trivia: 17.00 server time to 20.30.
9. Happy birthday! PS: I never realized you two had the same birthday! O-o
10. Happy birthday Kets! *steals random stuff from the pocket*
11. Is it possible to change the hours for the trivia game? 21:00 server time is 1 am here, and since it's on weekdays it would be impossible for those on my timezone to stay up till morning to participate As for the trophy, I think I could help with providing one (unless Mur wants to do so himself).
12.
Bad Udgard, I said people who weren't on the list, so Saki, RJ, me.. ¬_¬, obviously are not applicable.
That explains why I thought there were some missing people from last year on the list I read (not that I remember well, but I though some of them should have been nominated last year...) I thought the archives link was the one on http://md-archives.com/categories/archives-of-legends/the-book-of-ancients.html
13. For legends that have not been included on the book of ancients, I would like to nominate:

Morrel - One of the early MP6s and well respected artisan
Saki - The founder of the Legend Tellers
Glor - Head of MD artisan guild
RJ - First drachorn lord and bunny's archrival
Buns - mad bunny lord who will someday take over the world with the power of awesomeness and RJ's archrival
Bootes - the major driving force in MD stellar studies and one of the people who brought night back to the realm
Calyx - dojo founder
14. To be honest, when the angiens first started to be made a free for all easy to access creature, my reaction was "WTF?!" While not totally impossible, it's hard to respect something when it is so easily gained. When angiens were hard to obtain, they were enigmatic, and people asked questions about them, trying to learn more of those mysterious creature. Fast forward to when you can barely sell an egg for 1 sc. People were treating them like nothing more than "just another creature", and honestly, how many people even bothered to continue asking questions on their background? People took them for granted, and that does hurt the curiosity surrounding them. Though not without its problems, I personally like this move to return angiens to the status they should have.

16. To be honest I'm still confused what the thread is really about. Is it the shooting down of ideas, or general rudeness when doing so? I'm not doing irony or anything, I'm honestly getting confused on which one is the issue here. Can someone please explain to me? Thx
17. I can confirm that this happened to me too. View all doesn't work (says that there are no updates), though the last 20 works.

Roleplaying

My 2 cents: There are several elements of good RP. People have often mentioned no god-modding: this is when you set your character as almighty and practically invincible. Then there is bunnying: when you RP another person's reaction. And then there is one more thing: following the setting. MD used to have a setting: it's a distinct world of its own, whose inhabitants are people who were strangely transported to this world, landing on the paper cabin, meeting Marind and then deciding what to do, what role they want to take up in this world they are brand new to. Back then, roles like dragons, elves, demon etc was even frowned upon in the game concept, as you can see here. If you see the people who were chosen to be RPCs back then due to their roles that was deemed unique and suitable to MD, you could see that the most "roles" is closer to what they were doing, rather than what imaginary background or species they claim to be. For example, we had Thanasia who became a priestess after leading prayers, Alche who became a principles amalgam due to his adventures in Mt. Kelle'tha, RJ who became the drachorn master for adventuring inside the drachorn cave. Of course it's not that roles that include imaginary species does not exist, we had at least one metallic rabbit RPC in the realm, but it was not the shapeshifting, fire-ball throwing kind. This was way back then in MD. Then with the coming of the first Festival, there was a large influx of a new kind of roleplayers. They take MD's "you can be anything you want" and interpreted it as meaning MD is a freeform RPG: you can be whatever creature you want and throw fireballs whenever you want. There was a large influx of roleplayers with this mindset and for quite a while, this type of RP flourished. But as a result, the setting of MD that used to exist is quite often ignored during this period. Either side can argue which one is right, but with the revelations that happened rather recently, both sides really should have been reconciled. In terms of setting, MD is much more flexible than most RPGs: people are even allowed to alter the setting to a degree. As shown here, MD is a world where everyone's fantasy world is merged. Its reality is a mix of its inhabitants reality: when something becomes a reality in the majority of people's minds, it becomes real. This is perfectly reflected by the "RP reality level" system. When everyone there believes something, it becomes real. As people have different concepts of what they can accept as reality, it's easier to make something real when there is only few people there, but it gets harder to get everyone to think the same when the number of people increases. You mentioned that there are a lot of strenuous rules and restrictions in MD; I think it's inevitable. There's no rule about RP-ing when you're with like-minded people, as whatever you believe is reality, but when in a large crowd, those restrictions reflect the fact that the reality is not changing according to your fantasy, because other people does not accept it as their reality. I would also like to comment on the opinion that it's hard to find RP in MD nowadays. True, you don't see as many blue texts nowadays as a certain period back then, but it doesn't mean there is no RP in MD. As some people have said, RP is not just about blue text. For quite a lot of people, playing MD IS role playing. When they walk, talk or do anything, they are role-playing, even if you don't see blue texts. Even without extensive made up background or race, people can RP. If you look around MD, you can find RP all over the place, although it might not necessarily be the type of RP you think of. So now we get to my point, since ideas are requested to "revitalize RP". My suggestion is: do more RP that is acceptable to more people in general. Just like an RP needs to be very real and fact based when a lot of people are present, the opposite is true. A place that have a more real and fact based RP will be acceptable to more people, and allows you to draw in from a larger pool of people to populate the place.
19. I'd just like to point out that AFAIK, default item created by the interface is unusable (because the interface existed before item using functionality was implemented). I was not sure of this for a while, but when I checked the last item I made, it didn't show a "usable" tag.
