Too much story leaving me without directions...

The story is ment to divide players in groups based on their choices. From here there is a very clear picture about what each player choses and what kind of player he is, consider it as kind of profiler engine. The story will become more interactive of course. Right now not all the sections are ready to be connected to the story and if i connect only part of them then you will end up blocked somewhere. For now the story can go unstopped so that you can see it all and still have access to different places. About the waiting and waiting ...well this game is supposed to be played bit by bit each day and to develop your profile not to run throu it without knowing what is going on and "finish" it. Chapter 3 will be implemented as story only at first, while new interaction will be added to chapter 2. To make the story interactive its a very hard task and goes slow. ----SPOILER---- Some things that will change will be: Marind Bell gate will close for those who remain in the parc and for those who run from it leaving them blocked in one of the lands. People outside will get an option to join one of the other lands (you see,,, first they need to be UNLOCKED!!) , people remaining in MB will get more time to discover MB secrets and also find a secret passage outside of MB that will also open the gate for them. In No man's land you will find a creature guarding a artefact, you will get 2 options , solve the puzzle of the artefact or kill the damn creature (that will be powerfull). Artefact gives you both reward and unlockes one of the lands. These are the tasks on my imediate todo list. The thing is that i cant work full day on this in this period, i have to make some money to advertise this project as i am all alone in this, and also work on other ongoing projects. I usualy stay a couple of hours a day and make minor to medium improvements to the game, for example today i added the changelog notification system and also a new feature is about to be ready today. To connect the story to the game interaction takes much more ...so be patient, better something bit by bit then nothing at all. -
Invitations are sent by any alliance member from the alliane page they got activated in their interface. You will see there a tab to send invitations.

all principles get powerfull when used together, how exacly this will be implemented in the game i am not sure yet -
Heat increases for a random factor of about 4 points for each scene you visit. and ~150+ for actions like recruit creature or upgrade. After a fight heat increase its equal to the number of rounds in that battle. BRISKNESS is a skill whos point number adds to each heat increase every time, so higher briskness will get you more heat faster. 1 heat point lasts for 1 second, so in a minute you will loose 60 heat. Heat is a combat reward multiplyer so if for example you have max heat (1000) and you win a fight that normaly gives 100 value points and 0.2 initiative , you will get 400 vp and 0.8 initiative. Also it multiplies the experience gained. Heat does not affect combat damage or life. Amelia, put it to the FAQ. Tnx

Alliances are for now manualy activaded. To start an alliance you need to find 5 friends that want to join it. Using multiple accounts of same person to join an alliance is strictly forbiden and will get your account REMOVED Post a new topic in this forum section where you specify alliance name, and the 5 playernames that will join it. players must reply and confirm they want to be part of the alliance. Each alliance will get a unique logo. Your post MUST have the alliacne name in the topic title like "Creating alliance ...alliance name... "...or founding or whatever...just make sure the name is there. An alliance has maximum 5 members for now. will increase later in beta. WARNING , the player with most honor points will rule the alliance, regardless of who founded it. If later on you invite a player with highr honor than the leader, the player will loose honor so that he will be under the leader honor points. Mods, please move related topics to this section. Please ost a separated topic for each alliance, or it wont be taken into account. ps sry for my english

its all there for those who read it, not for the rest, for the rest i will make some nice icons to click on. Its funny how you don't have to hide stuff at all ... people who are not supposed to will just not understand it ... you dont have to hide anything or put it in different stories, movies and such, the plain thing sounds like a story itself and only some will get it for what it realy is..... it was funny when i first realised that and sad later when i understood how fake the world we live in can be ... so many "less smarter players" out there nevermind, i am starting to get emotional here lol P.S.: i am not saying people that dont have a clue what the principles text say are stupid or anything, not at all, just that they are...lets say, not made for this stuff -
the "killed by the psycho chick" bug is solved, i am not sure if the change applies to allready dead charachters, if not i will have to change yous manualy. Also, i will add a special markup to the player , like "DEAD" , this will have impact on later game situations, like bonus leadership when joining necrovion or huge penalties on alliance changes and more. It will make the game fun and sort of special.

the tutorial mode bug will be fixed. i'll post on the changelog when the reset but is back, it will be at a submenu of the profile page somewhere

well since they are not used right now, and will be used in beta when the magic will come up, i say don't worry so much. all of you try to see numbers and branches and have a good picture of what everything does, ..try to see the principles more intuitively ...if you feel like cyclicity sounds cool, pick it, if you feel like syntropy sounds bad don't pick it. They are very well explained, IF you don't try to relate them to the game. The descripton is not related to the game. the things that they will do will respect these principles. Invisibility for example, respects the darkness principle, the lack of light. i know, this is not for kids, but better like this thant bullshit fantasy texts related to nothing real.. -

well, the principles were not added for the game ...the game was added for the principles and other similar stuff ...its dificult to explain. To comprehend them fully is last of my concern ..whoever gets the ideea behind them fin, the rest just enjoy the action. I wont add something as a short description to them so that players know better what to choose, i want them to be curious until the end like this they will try at least to read them if not to understand. I don't know what to say about cyclicity , you see it allover yourself, life is cyclic, earth is, etc....and related to the game, it will for sure have a conection with the regeneration interval and things that repeat. Tehnicaly its difficult to do all this in a web based game so i realy dont know how much i will be able to create in the game from all i want -
the bad feeling at the end of a good buck is that you finished it and its over. I have books that i wanted to forget entirely so i could read them with same passion allover again, but its impossible. i myself i am realy sorry i can't play this game and have the curiosity of what it happen in it ...because i allready know all the outcomes ((( ... The difference between a book or a downloadable game and this one is that on a browser based game, changes can be made to continue the story and improve the game and still have all players / readers enjoining it. What i hope i will be able to do is to keep developing the game and make the gameworld deeper and deeper creating something like a 'neverending story' oh i liked that book ... but i have to admit that this is just in theory, to actualy do all this its a terrible chalange ... that i am ready to take ...lets see what comes out.

honestly i have to tell you that initialy i was planning to make the game like Amelia is playing it. This should be a long term adventure game where you discover a bit day by day. I slowly realised that most players like action so i had to make it more 'active' ...but at the same time i will try to keep the original ideea...and you know how i'll do this? ....with task such as "win 100 fights" or get 100 honor ..that will let you play free but will also keep more goodies for later. Nothing compares to things that come after a long waiting Amelia , i think the curiosity is killing you how come you resist 24h for each story? btw, i checked your account and i dont see the 24h selections, are you using a different account for this? can you tell me the playername pls?

Hy everybody as this community is growing i find it more and more dificult to keep up with the forum and the support and all. I am allready loosing about 70% of my available time with this. I could use that time to develop the game and improove it!! I hereby make a request to all players that understand the basics of this game and to the old time alpha testers to help with this. Please answer questions from new players, help them find their way and make their life easyer, it will help the community grow and will make this game much more interesting and active when more players will be online to play it. FORUM MODERATORS Who wants to be a moderator here on the forum and delete spam and moderate the posts is welcome to join. Please , if you don't login every day or you don't post often enough don't bother to signup for moderator it will just complicate things, thanks for understanding. LIVE SUPPORT OPERATORS Whoever wants to help with this has to have a good knowledge of the game an allready finish it at least one time. A live help operator will have its playername changed and will be immune to attacks but also will be 'requested' not to attack anyone at all, except for special situations when he has a good reason AND HAS THE APPROVEMENT OF THE ATTACKED ONE. Live support operators have to stay online whenever possible and their location will be discussed based on needs. Some will provide suppot for beginners , some for advanced users in remote locations. Polite speaking and friendly attitude towards all players is a must , regardless of personal fights. The support system works like this, once a operator is online, a button appears in the interface of all users and when clicked will show to the user a message box allowing them to send a message to the operator they were assigned. The operator will recieve the message as a norma mesage and has to answer it as soon as possible. By helping me with this you will give me more time to develop the game and add more features and finaly move on to alpha 4 and BETA. I am just a man and i cant handle all at the same time. From now on i will reduce my time on the forum and focus more on the game development. Thank you all very much, and have fun playing!

fixed it, i hope, now the story has less timers than before, only the important remained, the other just have continue link and the minimal wait time was reduced to 5 secs

i am open to any sugestions on how to improve that part. the story is boring at the beginning but players cant just roam on the map while the story says they are trapped somewhere any ideeas?

Time for an other question. I realy hope i didnt told that allready to anyone, except dev team...so dev team please dont participate to this contest. In Marind Bell there is a statue . Beneath it there are some stairs that take you to underground "secret" passages. The question is .... How, what or when will the statue be removed from there in order to get access to whats below it. You have to think of a way to make that statue disapear, destroy it , change the story outcome, or anything else, but i warn you its not somthing simple, or obvios, but also its also nothing too complicated This is not yet implemented in the game so dont try to do it....yet. It will be in chapter 3. alpha test 4 Lets see what you can come up with

each adept gets you 8% of vitality to your creatures so 10 adepts are 80% of vitality on just one click(action) ...BUT... 12adepts are 96% ...whatever comes over comes from nowhere. WIth maximum of 18 adepts you can get 144% vitality on just on click, and yes it will give to the creatures more vitaliy than you actualy have. or at least it does so untill i will decide if to fix it or to consider it a feature:)
