Happy Birthday Phantom Orchid

Happy birthday -
1 gold for them all.
I actually just sold one a bit ago, but I'll give you the remaining 2 for 5 silver.

I have 3 pimped grasan, 35 age as of day 18. I don't really care about them, so I'll sell them cheap. Also if you're making a quest and want them for that let me know.
Loreroot back entrance opens up when you are carrying a torch. You don't need a wishpoint. Loreroot has two entrances for a Torch carrier. It is equally vulnerable.
Its not at all equally vulnerable. MB has only one screen on its land between it and MDA, whereas LR has enough to make it so that someone could be stopped relatively easily even if they came from the back entrance. LR is still more vulnerable then any land except MB, but MB got by far the worst deal.
In underground that IS easy. In MB it's not, as there's 2 entrances to the capitol, you'd need 2 people to guard it one of which will not be walking on friendly territory making the job one hell of a lot harder.
Yes, MB and LR are different in that aspect, with MB being by far the easiest to attack. LR is still relatively defendable however. The other lands shouldn't have a problem defending themselves, but MB is pretty much done.
i know, its really annoying when all these noobs abuse alts to get tons of points and score against your land...
There is a simple answer, just kill the one holding a torch that's not from your land. I did that for a few hours yesterday. They can't point farm when they can't get to your base. And if they're noobs as you say, it should be easy to kill them. Then the people who were going to be sacrifices have nothing to do except wait for another person to grab a torch and walk allllll the way back to them, at which point you kill the person with the torch again. Its really fun actually.
I carry torches from a sense of duty, as Tarquinus is loyal to the land of Loreroot and feels obliged to do his part for the alliance. The contest is no fun for me whatsoever.
Your sense of duty towards a fictional land astounds me. I personally carry my torch for the glory of Narnia! (heh, just making a point, not trying to offend you)

I say less than a Windy. Also, a Reigndrach would be the King of DracHorns, while a Reindrach would be the one related to a deer.

I had an idea about beer. I was thinking that after you use the item it could cast a spell on you that randomly switched around some of the letters you had typed. Its not all that realistic, but it could be funny. Edit: New idea For my item Jester Sceptre, I was thinking it could teleport people to the screen 7_jestersdoor_1 by charging it with heat. Mur: no teleporting items right now, maybe later. Teleporting is dangerous. alcohol item done, its awsome, best i ever made so far

What To Do About Offensive Public Log Entries
Jester replied to (Zl-eye-f)-nea's topic in General Forum
Personally I think being able to delete a comment that offends you yourself is better than not having the option to have it deleted at all. Which is more important, warning people who have no power to do anything that a person is a dojo offender, or removing a comment that offends someone and ruins their enjoyment of the game? As for the PL entry deletion mods, forum mods seem to already have too much to do, so I think it'd be best for it to be voluntary, like LHOs. And then have those people read peoples PLs while waiting to attack or chatting or something. I do that already. There be a list of types of comments to remove. Comments that waste space, like I posted first in this PL but have nothing to say! Hurray for brain damage! or the comments that are blank and take up lots of room, and then any comments with offensive words in them (to be determined later). I like the second option, and that's just my idea. Also, anyone who is caught PMing the people in charge to remove the PL entry more than once would be banned or something, and the only time you can PM someone about a comment is if its really offensive, not just annoying. Those comments would be deleted by the people just randomly surfing PLs. -
Who cares if its offensive? The simple answer is for Mur to stop messing with principles for 5 minutes and use his amazing programming powers to add a feature where you can delete your own PL entries, or at the least have a character who can delete them, and you just have to ask them too.
I agree with you!! ........ rules are always there.....but it is up to us whether to follow it.............. a land should have all kinds of people (theives, rebels, murderers etc) ...if everyone agree and obey the laws then there wont be anything interesting in the land :-) .....this is what the rider's says.... btw....what is the law for the sky :-) ?
If the King doesn't catch you, you can't get in trouble. Its that simple.

Whew, good thing this alliance came out. The Sentinels have so many people they barely know where to put them. Wait...

You consider removing the RPCs is big enough to go to v10? Wouldn't removing a failed feature be going back to the beginning and having to try again? With the way MD is right now I'd say move on to v08, or v07. Torches was implemented, and that failed. Not very many people even try, and those who do can't find people to attack and just sit at GoE or SG. Items are boring and have no purpose except to collect and trade. Achievements have no purpose and can be finished by anyone playing the game normally or with a little help from another, except the LHO achievement, which just makes it so most people can't finish them all. With RPCs gone I don't even know how you're supposed to get the spell doc one. The lands of the East have nothing in them except a place to get achievements and an actual Pub. Combat was utterly ruined by the token system, which I assume was meant to bring in money but will probably end up chasing away all the new players who would spend money if they found the game to be worth playing. Since most of the MD shop items are based on combat, ruining the system that people spend money on seems... strange. I won't bother going through the list Mur posted that has all the other unfinished projects, I think it speaks for itself. This is progress in MD? Am I the only one that likes things to be finished before moving on?

Since I'm not a Sentinel anymore I saw no reason to keep KoB and its back under the control of MB people.

Due to Necrovion being the first thing that interested in me in MagicDuel, the first alliance I joined, the inspiration for my name, the homeland of my Teacher and the only alliance I was actually loyal to, I stuck with Necrovion until this point. Now I'm leaving for good. Necrovion itself has betrayed me twice within the past month, I see no reason in staying loyal to a land that is against me. Before Khalazdad left he gave me one final mission, which I have been waiting all this time to carry out. Since I haven't accomplished it yet I will not reveal what it is, but it had a lot to do with Yrthilian at the Necrovion Land Weapon. I followed Khalazdad's orders while there, and it got me attacked by the Summoned Army and branded as a failure in the Announcements and the Forum. I passed that by since there was no way for people to have known my mission. I continued on as planned with my goal of increasing Necrovion. In the middle of my plans a Kingship election was called for. It appears to me that only Necrovion itself could choose its King, so I assume that the elections went based on Necrovion's will. If Necrovion doesn't even have a say in the person who rules it then it is not a land worthy of respect. The elections chose Peace to be Queen of Necrovion. With me gone, the majority of the active members of Necrovion also left, not because they were not loyal to Necrovion, but for other reasons. Fifty people voted for Peace, and Necrovion chose her. Let the fifty people who supported her defend Necrovion. I want nothing more to do with it.
So you did nothing for your position Jester? Thank you. That is all I needed. But what will you do for the kingship? And what will you do once you are king?
I did nothing until I got the position, where I proved what I could do very conclusively. And I've just started. If you mean did nothing as in didn't try to take over the alliance and didn't try to sabotage the Dynasty, then yes, I did nothing. Thank you for clearing that up. If I were to be elected I would continue increasing the numbers of the Sentinels and organize contests and missions for the members. Being King would allow me to get even more done due to the powers I would gain. I would also personally fund a treasury to reward members of the Sentinels whenever they increase their rank, to provide incentives for progress. It is only under my leadership that the numbers and power of the Sentinels increased. Under both of the previous reign's it decreased and nothing got done. I will continue that if I'm elected.
I joined the Sentinels at the command of no person. I joined of my own volition and for my own reasons.
I believe Eigger was the only one, and he wasn't necessary to win the battle. The battle was won by the people I invited.
I did, but I figured you had schemed and lied your way to the top. Not because he was inactive.
You have so little idea what's going on in MD I'm surprised you even know there is a Kingship election going on. Reading an announcement seems beyond your observational abilities. What happened within the Sentinels was that I joined, and basically did nothing on my own, maybe helping out Peace a bit at first until then she left. When she left she put me in charge, but as Marvolo was a Dynasty member he had the power to overrule things I did, or consult with me about why I did things. He then went crazy after a few weeks instead, and left, leaving me as the only person with the ability to rule the Sentinels.
Peacesteppeddown from the leader of the Sentinels because she Doesnt have the time to lead it. What makes you think that she will have time for a larger role? Get Marvolo to run for king
In case you didn't notice, Marvolo also stepped down from leading the Sentinels.
After hearing of Necrovion and it's peoples, I have this to say. I have not heard of any of the current nominees. Now this could be because I'm simply not active in a forum, but I definitely want to vote or elect a ruler that I know /something/ of. And for this reason amidst others I must humbly request that Lady .Peace. be included in the running. Anyone that would argue her current state of life making her ineligible I will argue personally. If she were to be a knight, then I would be her squire. I have heard some of her tales and of her life, and I see no one better suited for continuing Khalazdad's legacy than her.
If you didn't even notice that Peace was already in the running then its no wonder you haven't heard of anyone else who is running. You must not be very observant.
me applied for necro kingship
"Shade Sentinel does not belong to its people but the people belong to it." -Mur Liberty wants to serve Shade Sentinel? Who would have guessed. It seems Liberty has finally come around to the Shades side.
A jester as king? What a fool.
A negative vote from Fenrir must mean that I'm doing the right thing.
