1.
With all due respect I understand but this is the exact post that is being attacked awiiya. It talks about the returning of balance. If it was made in response to balance yes it is second. Though jester is attacking the aspect of this truly balancing. If necro was not made for the purpose to balance then the time of creation could be different. Necro may have always been there. Not out of character and not talking within the binding of the game but real life. Even if necro was released after GG by mur that does not by any means mean that it wasn't there before at the same time. That would just be editing and the aspect of focus. Though mur does seem to like to divert from focus every once and a while.
You do not understand my post. I was saying balance as the final answer is not helpful. You need to break down the aspects involved in the land returning to balance to find out how balance works.

    Wps Gone Bad

I agree with Udgard. If you are going to give a gift give something of yours, but all WPs should be seen as Mur's, loaned to you so that you may give them out for quests. They do not belong to you, to give out as you see fit.
  3. When questions are given answers people generally stop looking into the question. I have found this to be true from personal experience in MD. And so, I have found the word I hate most in MD: balance. Balance is a tricky answer in MD. "Necrovion was created to counter unbalance." When I first heard that I thought that balance was some sort of magical idea. Unbalance occurs, and then something else magically pops up to counter it. I stopped thinking about the question because I thought that was the answer. Recently I started thinking back over the question again, but this time I decided to dig deeper: what about Golemus caused unbalance, and what about Necrovion counters it? This time I think I was able to find more information about how balance works in MD, and I don't think the answer is that it just magically occurs. This post is just to point out what I consider the most insidious answer in MD, and hopefully you can avoid falling into the same trap I did. Questions such as the ones in MD are not so easily answered.
  4. There is only one person in MD I have seen actually role play. By this I mean they did not steal a background from somewhere else and say they have random powers, but they used their own background from MD. A novel concept. I'll use myself as an example: I have been in the Sentinels, MRs, Archivists and then Sentinels again. I did other things too, but I'll use those as the basics. Is that not enough to create my own stories? I could use reasons why Jester left the Sentinels for the MRs, and why he eventually returned. These stories based on what actually happened in MD could easily be embellished slightly if they lack emphasis. So, if you don't have anything to work with to create your own character, maybe you could try doing something instead of complaining? If you were wondering why I haven't done what I just said, its because I don't really like role playing in MD. Maybe someday I'll decide to try it again, but until then I am more interested in research.
  5.
This topic is getting rather (yeah I'll say it) boring. Ever looked at the kind of topics that come up in the forum? Complaints and whining. Those are the ones that end up multiple pages. It's no different than the news running with the "If it bleeds it leads" mentality. "Let's go to the forum and whine or complain," has become a routine. Personally, I find that boring. Not a dojo. Not GGG. Not DLXP. Whiny, complaining topics. Those are what's boring.
And someone makes a post saying what you just said in every topic, which is also boring. Obviously they aren't working.
  6.
I already see a problem. Since there is not limit to how many of these creatures one could have the result could be a team of entirely parasites. I know that would be my strategy. The result would be an entire team of the opposition infected attacking among them selves. Even if it could be coded (which would take a entire flip in battle structure the implications of its use could be worse than the token problem (which becomes more and more necessary) I'm fine with the idea of a parasitic creature but the use of it would have to be different. Instead of taking control it would sap the life of a target. Similar to an elemental but being able to take more as the Vitality of this creature is very low.
An entire ritual with parasites in it would never do anything unless an enemy creature is dying. This would only be useful on lower MP levels and against dummy rituals that the enemy was too lazy to heal.
  7.
And I think that GGG is a little too easy to be fun, but I still use it. I think the only thing about GGG that needs to be fixed is the fact that we can get wins without doing anything. I would prefer if 0 vs 0 fights did not give wins to creatures. Awi
I agree with that completely, it would solve the GGG problem. Not being able to get wins without xp would also cause a lot of people to have to move up MP levels faster, and there would be less insanely powerful MP3 and MP4.
  8.
Maybe I wasn't clear enough, but what I meant was not that you could not attack others with tokens, but instead that their tokens would not work if you had no tokens yourself. Awi
I don't think that would work. It would mean that the only time you'd want to buy tokens is if you could buy a ton. Otherwise, a single tree with claw 1 in your ritual would cause you to be attacked by fully tokened drachs. Also, it would become better to stat farm than to buy tokens.
  9.
Ahh, fair enough, been there too many times, couldnt remember that there was one of those there But yeah, that'd be something only Mur can do, and i know one person who certainly left for a long time because of it, it's a shame, especially considering i wouldve happily teleported them off if they'd known to ask.
I think it starts the game off wrong, personally. You see a Labyrinth which is apparently really hard to solve, and then through a lot of hard work (or luck) you solve it and open up a new land. Then you feel good about yourself, up until you realize the exit is locked and you are trapped. It seems strange to reward someone who solved a difficult puzzle by trapping them.
  10.
Added note on the signpost.
Sorry, I didn't mean that sign. I meant the thing that pops up for new players the first few times they enter a scene. On the screen before the Labyrinth it says something about "Do not enter here, you will get lost", and on the entrance it says wait to enter until you have friends who can teleport you out in case you get lost. I was suggesting that get edited for the new players so it says "Do not enter until you have friends that can get you out, if you make it to the end you will get trapped". This isn't something players can do, but I imagine at least a few people have quit MD because of getting stuck in GG.
  11. Just a random thought, but maybe the sign at the entrance could be edited? That seems the most simple.
  12. 1 Gold for the elemental with claw 3 2 Gold for the Soulweaver
  13.
I don't think A and B is the same person or group/party in each question.
Ah, they were standalone examples. I thought the numbers were the rounds.
  14.
I have grasans with claw 2 (or pimped, not sure) for free for you since I have no need of them, I'll have to check for age and other tokens though, pm me (not sure how many I have atm, but at least one, and as many as 5 or 6)
If I could have that Grasan or however many you no longer need that would be great. I will send you a PM. Still looking for more Grasan possibly and some imps.
  15. In the first case, B could be not responding because A's argument is irrefutable, not because it is childish. This format you used for the argument confuses me, however. B has the strongest position of being able to refute A's arguments each time, and he gets to end. It would appear to be more fair if A would have a chance to counter B's arguments.
  16. I am looking for 2 Grasan with claw 2, claw 3, or both. I am also looking for an Imperial Aramor. Name your price, I do not have any in mind yet.

    Lottery

If a random number generator was used, how would the people playing know? The numbers could be picked so that one of the organizers friends wins, and then the organizer could claim it was random.
  18.
"Lands of the east are made in a much social way" ... After Jester's response I must say that it doesnt look that way at all.
The Lands of the East aren't only made up of screens with my name in them, pick another one.
  19.
Thank you Akasha Perhaps Jesters Streets in Lands o East can be fitted to be a market. My only concern, -I agree with Shantu- is people. From what I've seen MD people dont like to travel so much. Half of them are at GGG all the time. Anyhow, when this location is completed they will need to go there to shop, there will be no more forum space for trading, I mean, thats the whole point of this discussion. To put MD market where it belongs.
NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  20. I don't think his items should be taken, I just think there should be a limit to how many a character can have. And yeah he could put them on alts, but that might defeat the whole purpose of owning them. Whats the point of having a unique item if you do not actually have it?
  21. "Any repeated complain from multiple unique users will get some kind of unwanted action on you, try not to offend people, or to cause a mess in general"
  22. How do you propose we go about that? Just saying "spend more time in game" isn't really a new idea, although it is a good one.
  23. I must have misread your post, Udgard. My bad. My issue isn't with the amount of things to do in MD, its how unrelated they are. MD seems to be a collection of random games and quests with no relation to the core of the game. That may have been the intention all along, but to me it just makes MD seem tacky and thrown together. Take a look at nearly any random quest. It either has some crazy item that doesn't exist in the game (as far as I know) or it involves vampires or something completely random. There seems to be no cohesion in MD, people simply pick a topic from somewhere else and move it to MD with no regard to how it relates. Although I admit MD is hard to understand, I've been here for over 500 days and I'm just now getting the basics. Burns quest is a good example for me. While he did tie in parts from MD to the quest, and he did an excellent job I might add (one of my favorite quests in the entire game, even though I lost it was fun) he still used some random princess (although the parody was amusing). Is there something about MD that makes it so people can't work within it when they create something?
