1. Looking to talk to Eon on Business... which is damn hard to do when he has disabled all Ingame and Forum PMs >_

2. He was at all those other places, now he is at Statue hall door. The spell is fairly self explanatory >.>
3. I worked on designing a few games for a casino once... It was incredibly involved, and took a ridiculous amount of work, but basically if the house isn't getting an average guaranteed cut then they won't run the game. Anything which uses computers is rigged to force the house % (so you can win, but the house will always make its cut), games of real luck tend to be a lot harder to work with. Its why a lot of those games you pay the house to play, but beyond that you can only get money from the players, not the house. Although, blackjack is the most common example where the house will also play
4. Sweet, come meet me at Windy's to do the trade then.
5. Its important to remember how fenths are created in the first place. I think Pip said it best when he said it was better to charge for the use of the coagulators.
6. Any chance you could clarify the "Jester became new leader of necrovion" part? I assume alliance leader, as from my understanding he didn't become the leader of Necrovion until after the elections.
7. Yes, I do think that the MP level requirements for creature advancement is a good idea.
8.
Yes, but we don't even know what Mur is planning OR how it will work, so why are we arguing so much without even discussing the topic at hand?
Aye, remember what happened when he introduced the idea of creatures keeping experience on transfer, and then how that ended up working in the end.
9. To support Burns statement above, I give you one name: Rendril Revant.
10. 1 gold, 4 silver
11. PMing him might still work, if he set it so he gets an email notification of forum PMs, as that sends a duplicate to your email.
12. One of the issues that causes that bug is if you type in the password, then reset, then type the password in again without actually closing the clickie.
13. Yeah, basically you are not buying the wishpoint (which is against the rules), but the item (which is not at all against the rules). The only difference is that instead of getting an item close to what you want, you get exactly what you want.
14. I hope you can get some more role-players to come out of the wood works (I assume WTT in this case means Want to Try, rather than Want to Trade? )
15. Sent you the data for Most of Marind Bell, No Mans Land, MDA, GG, Tribunal, Underground, and Labyrinth.
16. The problem with the analogy of it being like a book comes up here. With a book, once you read the information it is stored in your brain. You can re-access it and study it further, but if your memory is good enough you could remember and use the information for the rest of your life. The memory stones, on the other hand, do not do this. When you enchant a memory stone, the stone stores the information required to cast the spells. When you activate the stone, however, it does not transfer this knowledge to you. The knowledge remains on the stone, all you have is the knowledge of how to activate the stone. The stone requires any materials that are consumed still, such as Heat or VE, and you pay those costs, but the stone is what performs the spell, not you. Think of it like an automated manufacturing line making say, a shoe. Assuming the factory line was made by a single person for simplification reasons, the person who made the manufacturing line would also need to know how to make a shoe, otherwise the manufacturing line would not work correctly. You on the other hand, as the operator, do not need to know how to make a shoe. You only need to know what materials the machine needs, and what buttons to push to make the machines do the work for you.
17. I don't think it would make much sense for Demo to be MP5, since combat between MP3 and MP5 is so different. It would be confusing to see the MP5 combat, get interested, and then start and find out the combat is completely different >.> Since Demo accounts experience and combat progress is frozen, saccing is probably not the way to go (you would not be able to get any wins or experience on creatures)
18. I just ran a quick combat test on the Demo Account creatures, of its 31 creatures only 6 are combat capable. Three of them are Barren Souls, and another one is a Hollow Warrior, leaving only two combat creatures usable, an Imperial and a Joker. Since there is no indication of what will work in combat before it is picked, anyone not familiar with MD will be frustrated by the lack of ability to actually test the combat engine, or understand that it isn't the normal way combat works (ie you learn what happens at the later stage as you reach it, rather than skipping the learning stage and being in the deep end with no instructions) Since part of the point of this account seems to be to test out the combat engine this game offers, I think something should be done to fix this situation. The best two solutions would be to either reset the creatures advancement levels (while retaining their wins, experience, and age) so that they can be re-advanced to the highest level that MP3 allows, or to remove all the creatures entirely and give it custom picked ones. Another option would be to remove the MP level restrictions on the guest account, since combat with it doesn't count, anyway. Not being a coder I don't know how easy any of this would be, but I think it is obvious that as it stands the Guest account isn't fulfilling its intended function.
19. Today, a family of which I am very good friends had one of their cats pass away. This is the third pet in six weeks, and these people love their pets dearly. This cat has been with them for many years, longer than I have known them, and the young boy was very attached to him. I would like if anyone who is inclined towards prayer would pray for the three of them (mother, daughter and son), and their many remaining pets (Several chickens, some lizards, a dog, a rabbit, guinea pigs, some fish, and a lot of cats). Thankyou.
20. Its just a reference ID. Helps with special requests and bugs. Generally, you can ignore it.
21. What Archivists there are generally have specialized roles. Myself, for example, am working hard to gather information on characters of important impact on the MD community so that if someone who deserves entry into the book of legends departs forever, they will not be forgotten. Events such as this get my interest, but with the way people operate now (via YIM, etc) it is almost impossible to find all the facts. There are too many "whys" to write anything more than conjecture without being on the inside. Which is a shame, because this is the exact sort of thing that would get someone into the history books. Second king of Necrovion, Second Rebellion (first with interface), pushing the limits of what kings can do, First land disbanded, wars, the early events in the Archives, the chase of Pamplemousse... a Longer story, but the latest chapters are going to take a long time to unravel. Just because you don't See the fruits of labour does not mean one is not Labouring.
22. You have got some good ones, to be fair.
23. Congratulations. And Burns best is a pretty good best
24. Water isn't supposed to be a high value resource, anyway.
