  1. I seem to have lost part of my deck of cards. Probably while I was drinking in one (or more) of the pubs around the lands. I find that I don't have time to go looking for them and hope that you won't mind tracking them down for me. I left instructions on how to get started in the cellar of the Archives. [b]Due to a request from the ingame staff I will hide all copies of the quest with the password "compass". Sorry for any inconvenience.[/b] There were a few issues after I added the password to the compass clickables. They should all be fixed now but if you run across one with an error message please let me know by msging me here or in game. [size="1"]The fine print: Rewards are only for mp3s though everyone is welcome to run through the quest.[/size]

Resources don`t seem to be able to be collected... and I`m not sure if they are being regenerated either When I try to collect resource from a location that has them (8/12 in this case) I get this message: [code]~ Apprentice's Lumber Saw ~ #No more resources of this kind (lumber) available at this location, try again an other time.[/code] This started about the time that water was added as a resource I believe.

  5. umm, is it possible that there is a story mode bonus based on your choice and then the 4-8 percent is applied which would allow the actual amount received to be higher than the 8 percent that you believe that should be max? ((Max VE + Bonus VE) * (4% * Meditation Bonus)) + (Max VE + Bonus VE) = Total New Max VE (I don't know if this is the formula that is used, I'm just suggesting that the formula may not be as simple as you suggest)

  7. If it's specifically MD that you are having issues with and only after logging in, I would try clearing your cache, downloading the newest flash player for your browser. Also, try a different browser. As far as I know MD supports Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera and Google Chrome. I don't know whether Safari is supported.

I would think that would give an error unless it is a feature that I have not read about anywhere.

  10. I don't usually have a problem with captchas but I do find that certain letters and numbers are very hard to distinguish. ie. S and 8. I wonder if changing the letters to lowercase would help possibly.

Birch sap is high in Vitamin C and has been used to cure scurvy. It can also be boiled to create a tonic that is said to help arthritis. It can also be made into wine or beer. Sap (various types) has also been used as an adhesive and for dressing wounds. Some have astringent properties and stop bacterial infections. Gum arabic, derived from acacia tree sap, is used in gumdrops, marshmallows and other candies (also envelope & stamp gum) .

[/quote] It could be interesting if resources could be exchanged based on the battle system. A person holding 100 Wood gets attacked, 6000 VE out of 10000 VE is lost in the battle by the defender, 60 Wood goes to the attacker. Or something like that.
  14. What if each land was given a giant erolin storage device? Guild members can access the shared heat for their purposes. People with citizenship can donate heat just like they do for Protectors currently. And perhaps a portion of heat generated from Alliance vs Alliance fights automatically go to the storage of their respective lands.
  15. I am interested in how the guilds will work and would like to put myself forward to join. My reason for applying would be because I was an apprentice craftsman in my prior life and I would like to continue my apprenticeship and do something useful for this realm.     Foot Prints.

    How does this differ from the locate spell? Or for that matter, being able to see that someone has passed a location by seeing their name in grey in the chat? It doesn't give direction of travel but it's at least a hint. Personally, I like being able to backtrack across my own traces to screw up someone who may be chasing me.

  18. Are you suggesting a simpler way for people to get items related to their roles? Personally, I wouldn't mind that as I don't ever seem to be on while a Crafter is on. Also it sometimes seems quite steep to pay a wishpoint to get a bucket or something like that. But the way you have described it as using mdscript seems like it wouldn't be terribly useful for people's roles as they would need to go to a scripted location to "see" their items and others wouldn't be able to see them so I don't think it would add to their role. On a side note, I wouldn't mind it if you could get basic items in a simpler way. Pay a silver (or gold) and get a basic item. Want it customized? Then you take it to a Crafter with your wishpoint.

Earlier today I found this error at the top of the creature page (The individual creature page not the creature list page) Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/magicdue/public_html/ui/creatures/load_inspect.php on line 38 I don't notice anything wrong on the page except the error so it's probably fairly minor. I waited a couple of hours just in case it was a temporary error but it's still there so I'm posting it just in case no one (Mur or Rendril) knew about it.

This is an appropriate resolution if you wish to print your scans but most monitors are 72 or 96 dpi and make anything scanned at higher resolutions look much larger on the screen.
  24. Certain things should be made available for each mp level. Personally, I think that every mp3 should be made a citizen of No Man's Land when they join the game so that everyone is using a land affiliation from day one. Perhaps at each level, it resets to that so people have to choose which land/alliance. (Everyone has an affiliation even if it's only the land you were born into.)
  25. Copied from Mur's announcement You can now check if user has a specific item or not. The function mds_has_item("item name") returns the number of items the player has (zero if none). Because coins are technically also items, you can also check how much silver or gold someone has.
