Well, Mur forbade alts... So the 30 active people divided in two teams?

Ok, read it... I recently thought about wars and their efficiency in the control of human population... The inducing of chaos might be intentional in some cases, but mostly it comes in spontaniously... Too much people, not enough food, financial breakdown, hunger, discontent, war. Disease also spreads faster in high populated areas, due to the nature of it... Now, there is the conspiracy theory part, but I don't want to get into that. I thought about other things considering balance, but I think I'll sleep on it and make a large coherent post tomorrow rather than blurting nonsense now. The thing that bothers me with TC: Where are those rewardsies, Mur?! Where?! I wants them! I wants the preciousssss rewardsiesssss! (It wasn't Neverwinter Nights, because I don't recall any armor costing more than a hundred thousand gold pieces, if even that)

One question: If I apply for team Bunny, can I still get a chance to burn Metal Bunnies testicles? That's all the fun for me in all of the festivals I've been so far... And I've been to one. The one Bunny himself hosted. Eagerly awaiting a reply, Ravenstrider, the BTB... Edit: For all of you naughty ones, BTB is not Bunny Testicle Burner, it's Bunny Team Bishop... We need titles in order for this to work...

I want to share some of my fancy thoughts on balance as well... can't let Mur catch all the glory, can we now? Seeing balance as a mid way point between opposites is somewhat simplifying it. The Balance is made of smaller balances which together in turn represent chaos which is balanced with the ultimate balance... Um, think of it like this: Movement of electrons around the core of an atom is chaotic, yet follows a specific statistical pattern, and the core and the electrons are balanced due to the electrical forces that act between the electrons and protons. If an electron leaves, the atom seeks the balance, by drawing in electrons near it, and it forms all sorts of interesting things. (molecules, crystal networks, etc.) Now, those interesting things in term create life, the universe and everything else. (Who said 42?! ) Life, the universe and everything else in term create a whole bigger mess of things and unbalance other things and it all, in the bundle with space, time, antimatter and what not creates the big bloody mess I like to refer as chaos. Now, it all seems chaotic to us, but all those things tugging on each other, working towards the small balances represent The Balance in Chaos... The Balance, as I see it is the thing that most people see as God, Creator or Cow... Balance = God. Thank you very much ladies and gentlemen. That's all from me. *bows* Edit: (Four pages?! Resizing it with Gimp is much more productive than resizing in Paint.

How is buying a crafted item different from buying a Windy? As I recall, a couple of topics were made a while ago selling GG drach or Windy, depending on what the buyer wanted... Anyway, there's a problem here: What if Jester awards the WP to you before you notify him that he should instead give it to person XY? Other than that, it's bending the rules, not really braking them, imo... If Sasha were to award a WP to someone for that someone to make her an item, that would be abuse. It's a fine line...

The name of the topic says it all. I am offering coins. Amount of tokens is more important than the token usefulness. The more, the better.

Everything that spoils the game experience is a spoiler. Things I don't consider a spoiler: Interface information (How do I transfer creatures?), some basic information regarding the mechanics (Various things from how much ap does it take to recruit the No Mands Land/MB creatures, to the fact that one can drop exp squishing things at an altar... Both of these are available to players, but not everyone takes the time to memorize everything in the game and I think sharing this information isn't going to ruin anyones game experience, if something, it will help ease some of the beginner frustration) Things I consider a spoiler: Giving away solutions to the puzzles/guard fights, showing lands to new players who haven't in some way earned it, giving them information like stats on higher levels of creatures or age and upgrade costs in higher levels... In short,if you spoil any or all of the things that leave you with a sense of minor or major achievement when you do them...)

Two question: How many people besides the writers and the people who are involved attend Story Night? Why haven't you listed any of your ideas? "I do not know how to fix this. I don't know if recruiting members will fix it, or if volunteer work will do it, but something needs to be done. Please give a list of ideas or thoughts of what you can do to help." This sounds like a plea for people to feed you ideas.

I believe you got your job of Mur's secretary because you were asking for things to do. If you care, try things... Don't go to the community without thinking about the solution to the problem and just expecting us to hand you the secret to revitalising YOUR land. Try it yourself first. New ideas, realisation of projects usually need new members, since as far as I can see it, you, the old ones can't handle the situation. New members come from the pool of new players. New players comming to MD is largely the result of advertising. Ergo, you're a hypocrite to complain on that matter. Edit: The Artisan Guild has been disbanded and their job is now mostly done by an automated system. I don't see them being revived, unless there is a flow of new artists... I doubt any who do avys today can compare to the work Glor and the crew did back in the day.

As you know, the situation is same in all of the lands. Do you think Necrovion has any more active members? Or GG? Or any other land... Fixing it easy... Recruit people, divide labour, do something useful, come up with new ideas for game features tied to the archivists roles then bug the council to give you the tools to make it happen. How long has it been since the bookshelves in MDA have had a new addition to them? I find it funny how you object to Seighearts proposal to give the funds from the Artisans to Advertisers and then complain that there isn't enough people to do the Archives jobs...
