You mean you don't have the option to wait longer? And this lasted until the story ended, or if the story hasn't ended, to now? If the story hasn't ended, a screenshot?

Combat logs are erased in two instances: one related to a secret feature triggered by the person who fought you, another when the server time resets (00:00; you can view server time by clicking the daily progress button). What happened was that inbetween the time the attack occurred and you clicked the notification, the log was erased.

You don't necessarily have to heal the creature to 100% for the rit to work; you must have more than 301 VE in the creature (or total in creatures if you're using more than one). Aqune was talking about it a few days ago and mentioned that it was implemented in order to prevent loss-farming, which sounds about right. If that's the case, it didn't really work. >_> It's not a bug though.

For me, the enemy's VE plays a role in what kind of ritual I make, though. Higher VE, lifestealer, less VE, one-creature rit, ect.

Hmm.. the first two parts you listed - The colors' preferred methods for achieving their goals. - The colors' strengths and weaknesses. are assigning characteristics to people, not just values or beliefs. In that case, I might have some complaint, as valuing a certain belief doesn't mean you do things accordingly. I'm interested in how you'd handle it, so those are the ones I'd like to see first. Probably the latter more than the former. Oh, but since you have the section about the two- or three- color combinations partially done and the last unfinished part (For the two- or three- color combinations, why do I think they exclusively share the values I say they do and why the other colors don't?) you listed is related to them, I kind of feel like you should do that. Um, just because I'm a organization freak, so it doesn't matter. x)

This comes up a lot during head contests. I'll move it to the Questions and Answers forum since it isn't a real bug. Congratulations; you have made the first topic in the Q&A forum which isn't pinned!

Huh. I'm sure the Metal Bunny I thought up of a while back (ranting about the moves it would have in Super Smash Bros) would pwn anything Tzuki could be made into. Actually, I think "Emm Bee" should replace Tzuki. Like, you know, a nickname for someone named Emma/Emmy? Well, okay, not really. Anyway, Jonn, the only thing you need to do is grab a picture from Azumanga Daioh of the Ebil Black Kitty biting Sakaki's hand, make a transparency layer, trace the outline and make minor adjustments to change it into a bunny, you know, the ears and legs, add a puffball onto the rear end, ect. n_n Glaistig is innovative. EDIT: Reread Jonn-post-- oh wait, you might have been imagining something else far different.. D: I feel the need to explain. You see, it's because you were talking about an animal eating a humanoid.

Interesting; I had thought that you might assign characteristics to people based on the results, but it was more related to people's values and beliefs. I don't have any complaints, except there is no section for people who get positive values for less than 3 colors (don't negative values mean you don't really agree with concepts which correspond to that color?). I can see myself getting different results retaking the test, but I expect that eventually, when I have thought about statement thoroughly, I'll determine my colors. ... Do you still have that 90-question one saved? Like, see, maybe not too much work to make it work? No? Mmkay, I was only wondering. I'd say the section about the three colors with the highest values is the one that can be developed most. You don't say which color each aspect of the beliefs originates from, and they're more involving than the other two sections. As it is, I can understand the logic behind it if I take some time to think about the colors and the other two sections. What do you mean by "help"? Speaking of which, I should go back to homework. EDIT: Oh, I want to do what Lu did. Maybe another time, I guess.

I think it makes sense.

Hmm.. my results, in order of greatest to least value: Blue = 161 Green = 31 Red = -4 White = -19 Black = -169 Now, I know that the second part which explains the results hasn't been completed yet, but reading a little of the MTG articles supplied and also knowing societal stereotypes of what emotions and values colors represent, I'm not sure that's entirely accurate if I assume the concepts are similar. I was thinking of saying why, but I'll wait until you get those explanations out. You have the responsibility now! I took some time and spent effort thinking in order to assess my feelings about those statements, and I don't want it to be for nothing.

I said lightly! But I had heard nothing of you owing until now. And, it is true, I feel my failings strongly contrast with your-- ... =_=; Don't make me flatter you, now. ... You aren't possibly copying the mannerisms of others on purpose, now are you?

Quite impressive, Pi.. Very impressive. O' what I would do to have the knowledge to guess shamelessly at such things, and flaunt as you do. Me. . . well, sadly due to failings, it seems like I won't ever get it. Not easily anyway, as I imagine you would with your brilliance.

Huh.. I don't know, doesn't the book of principles govern over the whole spectrum already? Not just the "positive" side, whatever that means. Unless the principles don't affect shades, which I doubt, because they go on such long spiels about balance. Maybe, see, they gain power by burning the pages somehow, or they are trying to prevent the book from being formed.

The regen ability can easily be abused, I think. However, I think few people actually stick regenerating creatures in order to make the enemy lose exp no matter what unless it's premeditated and designed for a partner who needs it.. a lot of people in mp5 actually need the negative exp. I'm not entirely sure the regen was supposed to be a device for negative exp in the first place. If so, the ability description misleads one to think it is a bug. If you're having trouble defeating other players, hmm.. While you may be new, there are usually tons of players sitting at Willows with low VE. Perhaps you may want to figure out a way to attack and defeat their creatures mostly in the first turn (so they can't attack you) and be invulnerable to the elementals' targeting. There is one.

Come now! The lho groups is full of kindness and tolerance; for what would you abandon our mighty cause of helping newbies- such things like roleplaying and making quests? To a degree, they make MD more fun and interesting, yes, but your help is needed where you are now. lol, you should know I'm joking, right? Should you ever get offered a role, don't hesitate; while the worthy mission may miss you, things ahead will be bigger and better. I'm sure there are many people who by then would want to take your place. *acts as if there are limited spaces for lho team, and that is why there are so few lhos* >_>

I've never played MTG, and I don't know the use of assigning a color to personality.. but I would try it out of curiosity.

Hmm.. I considered ignoring the comments of MB and Pi, because they're very awkward. But I tend to want to respond to everything so: yes, mostly I dress my words in jest. But everything I say (or imply) is partly genuine in feeling, or else it wouldn't occur to me to say it. Besides that, when I speak so, I express my feelings in a way that renders emoticons unnecessary, which makes me a happy person. I'm tempted to start behaving this way in default, in honesty. @Glor, a very flattering image, although I can't say it accurately depicts me as Lu's. But understandable; no one knows me as Lu does. Thank you~ @Sol, I believe Valentina promised me a glaistig-like avatar. I don't know if it will happen or not, but I am attached to my fairy.. as to my gender, if only to make sure Rennedy won't bash me, I won't lie and say I'm sure I'm male.

Mm, yes, most people don't realize that helping players will encourage them to continue playing the game, which will lead to more features being implemented (we do need a certain number of test subjects). We need more volunteers for the lho team, too. Maybe creating an official guild/alliance ingame would encourage more people to help out, but I really dunno.. that sort of stuff just appeals to people who want to be recognized rather than actually help. Besides that, there are already the asterisks and titles for that purpose. Oh, and also, some new players are reluctant to use the Live Help button, or inactive lhos (idling) are the ones to receive the messages. I think part of the problem is with MD.. information about the game mechanics aren't really handed to the player. There are the [more info] links, but it's a kind of passive way to communicate and inform important things to the player. Perhaps there should be an extended tutorial that explains the system. Another thing is that the information is scattered about, not all collected for easy access. There are the FAQs on the forums, but some don't use the forum and they're all player-created, not official. There is a very incomplete one you can view by clicking the LH button..

I believe there will be more options for lower-level players as more developments occur, one example being protectors and adepts. I think it likely those features will be used as an opportunity to create armies or teams which are officially recognized by the game. They just won't be as "elite" as alliances. As more guild-type alliances are made, more players will have a chance to become more involved. Even if seats will be limited, even the existing alliances have armies/teams extending beyond the actual alliance members that play a role.
-
Despite the fact that I'm in an alliance, I have to agree with the players here that are saying it's unfair. We get extra skills and others can't attack us as often, yet we can attack them constantly. We have the incentive to do so, if only to gain the combat reward. Loyalty isn't the only thing which matters. More so during head contests. Life isn't fair. That doesn't mean the game has to be unfair, though. It's not just like how older/more advanced players have an advantage over players new to the mindpower. When you keep in mind that alliance seats are very limited (at least for now), our advantage is considerable. Maybe alliance members should only be able to interact with other alliances' members, or at least during the head contest. As for the regeneration, Braiton, that doesn't apply to all alliances. It varies for each one. Loreroot regenerates 1k VE in 25 minutes, which isn't that bad considering the different advantages a longer counter offers.

Let's show up those high-and-mighty rpcs, huh, fellow lho? Let's. . . Listen, don't you start thinking they're all "awesome" and "cool." They're lame. In fact, don't abandon lhoness ever, not even if by some way or another you are offered rpcness. :-D That good? Good.

I think Ren's "Ren" isn't Japanese, if I recall from a conversation a while back. But I'm not sure; the "honorifics" part tripped me up. I associate the word "honorific" with the Japanese language very closely; is he referring to honorifics of another language? But yeah, this wannabe anime freak knows "Ren" can be a male name. ;D Rena, however..
