[spoiler] [/spoiler] lets suppose that all gates would require ... stones. Lets suppose that I control the stone shated items. What kind of deals would you offer? So, I will end up with a great gate, well maintained and you cannot enter my land and you will have nothing to guard your land. So, all those suppositions above stand on the distribution of shared items. Unless you have you have each land have its own items for the resources it needs ... you will have no gates. ( who is crazy to shoot itself in the foot?) meaning : no dynamic trade.

That idea ... is not really good. They will just collect the resources and reinforce the gate. :) or a better wall

LotE was and is supposed to be a neutral land. But because of that it should not be left out during the improvements. ______________ Be warned: we may have chosen to be neutral but we can still deal with foes. :)

wouldn't it be easier if some of us would get some rusty old alts for that? I know, I am calling for alt abuse but MP3 only ... it could be beneficial.

Will there be anything for the non-main-lands ? Yea, I'm mainly interested in the LotE. Also there was a little suggestion topic with some adjustments to lands (resource adjustment & location tags). Would those also get implemented ? (I will add a link here as soon as I find the damn thing) Edit: Darn thing found : Lands affiliations & tags

A bit of topic There are, indeed, some pro and con arguments, but it would be interesting to know who started this discussion and the arguments/reasons/motivation for starting such discussion. If you'd like to share ... in another topic. ( I'm not sarcastic, but I'd really like to know what is required to change MD concepts )

"mindpower requirements on creatures" was a long awaited and debated feature and it will never be removed (and neither "cross-mp attacking") They are required so that new players (MP3) are protected by other older players still in lower MPs. So, if you say that you are getting obliterated as a new MP5, imagine one players with attack & defense in orders of 1-10k still in MP3 ? Well, they existed. (points to "insert name here as I forgot it").

While I agree decreasing the chance of freeze, I would like to add another pattern: Similar creatures (in families) to boost their freezing chance. First , lets say, bird tries to freeze with a percent x, then the second would have a small boost (depending on creature , see rust and rein drachorns) like 1.3 * x and the third like 1.3 * 1.3 * x . But this would require to lower the chances of freeze to about 50% at max. Also, in similar way, the antifreeze has to have chances. Also a creature hit with anti-freeze should have the (anti-freze) percent to resist freeze. Another way to have this freeze / antifreeze sistem is to have at each round the affected creature compute their chances again ... would need to refine this idea. Edit: I forgot this : the freeze / antifreeze should be applied according to initiative of each creature

I would disagree, .... Im not sure of the reasoning ... joking. There are some locations that would require some more work like the places where the alliances are listed. Also, those places are / were very useful (will not spoil when) exactly as they are right now without chat. There are also some other locations that seem not useful (like the hidden locations from each land) should we remove those too ? Anyway, as I disagree with your "remove them" proposal on quite a few different levels, I propose instead to find some artwork that would integrate with those locations like the item shop from Willow Shop Interior. This would make a good quest : "Design artwork for location x" and as there are quite a few locations ... it would keep the gifted ppl busy for a while.

The only genius part I can see in that request is if he managed to avoid paying the price for the item . As I remember, the price for 1 item was 1 WP. Also, the not so smart part of the Council would be to allow this to develop "emailing the Council for items" instead of adding more to the Crafter's guild.

I am simply amazed. Just because you can write better inglesse and you can make a 1k words essay it doesn't give you the right to say what you've just said. (whatever all that bs even means as it loses me halfway through some sentences). A better example for "obnoxious, not to say outright rude" is one who is still growing a brain to think they can give lessons. First of all, one should learn to hold their tong until they gets a broader picture. Then they should listen for those more experienced, learn the context. Then they should take their time to think it over a few times before going to public. But then again, you are not one of them as you are a natural born genius, so you are allowed to insult me because I attack something that you think would make you more comfortable. But then again ... someone has to be mistaken, hasn't it? About the GG drachorns that you find so common in MD ... all that mambo jumbo is just a foolish and childish assumption on the obvious. Can I ask you when was the last GG recruited ? Now, let me give you some more info: The GGs are rare because they cannot be recruited, not for a long time, not now and not anytime soon The GGs seem common because MD is dieing and the player base is decreasing thus all "rare" creatures that were supposed to be in possession of at most 5-10% of the players ... well, that's how many we are left. Also, if you say that there are GG available in quests ... yes there are but not all ppl can write essay and thus the quests are untouchable. And I will not write more about other targeted quests. So, you old genius father of fire, how the heck can you consider yourself above others when you lack the knowledge and perspective ? Now , some more info for you to chew: MD is this state, among others, simply because some came with the great ideas to change what already works and thus development time was wasted on rewriting and twicking stuff for few's benefit. So, yea, even if Chewett said that he is interested in these "ideas", he (sorry Chewett) has something better to do if he wants to save MD. So, yea, I know better then what he (Chewett) said (NOTE: I don't question what he knows). Yes and no, we are not discussing period. Maybe you need me to rephrase it a bit: One has enough problems when he is in the ropes meaning don't give more problems to handle and don't get it to easy either.

No, at players' XP cap, the creatures get nothing (or I haven't noticed any gains). On the other had, the player's XP increases/decreases and that has to remain like that if while we need the process of decreasing XP to work. Also, not capping that "over cap" xp will be the punishment for not working to lower the xp. I am have no such thing, I am just thinking of the "average" player caught on ropes. As the player loses stats from loses, the gain of wins will help him grow the creatures that will, in turn, help him later (ofcouse, he will have to go to positive honor, if I remember well, to grow the creatures). Oh, and for MP3 ... are there any left ? I barely see 1 or 2 a week.

while under -500 you should havea chance torecover, shouldn't you? i agree,creature wins are not fair but one has enough bad things happening to him to care about wins on creatures.

Yea, that is exactly it , it is most of the times not all of the time as in : you are seeing DD as something/somebody else, a puppet. You are not consequent in your role. You are not it. And I just offered you a hint to help you. If you don't want my help (I haven't seen you receiving much of in in this topic) ... then fine, suit yourself. I will not interfere.

You try to plan DD as for a chess game. I'd suggest you to be DD not just to play DD from time to time. Otherwise ... I'd like to see how this new DD would be look like / act .

[spoiler] [/spoiler] I would have chosen that path too if it would have been open. But now ? How can you even consider feeling home there ? It is not just smelling bad but really stinks. Just imagine what is left there : - garbage from ppl lost there for weeks if not years and the scent of their bodily fluids and such - rotten corpses or what's left of them (don't think that reviving ppl does require the old bodies) And on top of it, there is nothing else. No herbs to cover the smell , no rain so that water could clean the place up, no tree to convert the corpses ... nothing. Just garbage and old corpses or soon-to-be-corpses. Bleah. Plant some flowers there and I will go there again.

i have no means to cast rain and momentarely i lack the movement ability ( i am again on the tablet). i will hurl myself, tomorrow evening, there for a week if you think that will help. ________ i would have not said it if i would have known , would i?

this fix was fast. can i ask how the tribunal case is handled now? As I remember, the tribunal is full of leaks and thus is full of water.But i don't think it has clear sky. So, how is it handled?

As I stated a few times before, I am against these changes simply because they are meant to limit the power of stronger players and not to help the new players. From the perspective of a new players, as of Burns numbers, having 3 of those creatures in the same ritual gives just a slight advantage (if any) and is just a great achievement (as to obtain those creatures). And fighting a player with 100 times yours stats witch has 2 drach (instead of 3) and 2 angiens (instead of 3) is similarly futile. So, no, this change is useless, pointless and a waste of time (my time to debate it, Council's time to re-think and approve it and a programmer's time to code / configure it).

As Chewett stated, it just stick to this value. And yes, in some auctions, it is stated that 1GC = 15SC. But there are also the cases where "only GC are accepted" and with that the change rate changes. There are some cases when ppl wanted only SC or only GC and the rate variated from about 12SCto about 16SC per 1GC. Anyway, if you want to sell some GCs for something like 5-6SC, please let me know, I'd like some of those.
