It used to be 1 AP required for all MD. With max AP limited to 100, you could visit as many as 100 places in just as many steps.

So, let me guess, you want this spell available in MD for ... all quest-makers except a few (like Dst, Eon and their friends) and to use it against them at your convenient time. :) that would be interesting to implement . Let me tell you how I choose to tell if a spell is good or wrong: Consider that you are the target of the spell. Can you endure 5 casts ? Can you endure 5 casts for every spell reset (2 times / month). So, if you don't like it ... don't propose it.

Look, you said you didn't do it but you still said about a large amount of emails. I say that you did. So, until you prove me wrong ... I consider you a liar. (like that matters to anyone but me). I have stated my view on favors and all on my comment for Mur . You can read it there and if you really want to answer it ... you can write in a closed topic or anywhere else. I read. @DD: DD, read up or you'll keep getting the wrong decisions. When you read what Burns wrote ... did you considered that most of those ppl with important roles never asked for such roles? they played their roles for years before Mur has opened the eyes to see what they were doing . See all other examples we have today : Chewett (as most obvious), BFH , Burns, even Greedo, Nim, Z, and many many more. On the other hand, you play for 1 month one role ... kind of alone, then expect to be rewarded. Dude, you are not a dog to get a bone when you fetch the stick. If you expect to be treated like a dog ... sniff around and see what happens. As Curiose said here, because there are too many of red buttons on unreliable ppl we hate the beggars. Sure, some ppl could handle the role but why not do it as it used to be ? Why not doing it like it was proven to work ? Why not wait for the right ppl to arise then reward them ?

This post is just to tell you why I gave you a "-1" “you can’t do anything in MD without help from XXX" And last of course, what hurt me most... that nobody tried to ignore my faults. From my side, I've only seen a short-tempered, fast-fused, double-sided, back-stabbing, ever-changing (i mean unstable in decisions or goal) person and that is why I disagree with what he does (most of the time). Also, I've seen that he's social interaction skills and language skills are awesomely disastrous and for this reason I still give him benefit of a doubt and try to help him whenever I can whether he likes it or not. That is all I will say to describe him. There are many adjectives pro and con that can and should be used but then ... you already got the point. On "powerful" players: Some are "powerful" players are powerful because they worked for it (see the humongous stats : attack and defense) and unless proven to have abused on something wrong there is nobody that should judge them on how they use their worked powers. "Powerful" players that have won something in quests (like skill damage) then again , nobody should comment on how they/he is using it (unless the higher power is ready to remove rewards) unless that specific request was targeted. Other Powerful players have indeed power (mostly role based) because someone gave it to them and most of it they have earned (either from higher authorities as items/spells/rights or from players as role/authority/decisional power). Most of these "powerful" players have spread around their "gift" to others as expected or as they've seen fit . Kings on their followers / alliance leaders to their alliance / LHOs and so on. And then there are : Chewett "the coder", The Council and Mur "The Mur" as the ultimate power and authorities. The players behind these players (including the high level authorities a.k.a Chew & Mur & The Council) have the uncontested right to play ( I will name this here as "free play") as they see fit if they don't use their admin powers. About Mur's decision/s The problem that generated this revolt against DD's quest and the announcement is from your mix of "free play" and use of admin powers. Yes, it WAS OK long ago when you/Mur where the only one taking decisions as there was no other way to do it. But not anymore, it is no longer OK. (sure, you can always ignore what I think, that is your right as the owner of MD, but do you want to go there for a 2cent decision ?) At one point you gave up on stuff like that and you created The Council then you created roles for other players like BFH, Chewett and others in positions that they can be trusted and have been proven to be trusted. Also, you said that you would concentrate your work on MD an no longer work on requests and you even promised punishments for breaking the chain of authority. (Still ... there was no such thing) So, we are OK with that process, even with adding the Trial Court and Public Council, it works, slowly (as they have lot of junk to filter) but it works. But from time to time, some "beggars" come to you for favors (other recent ones would be Fang, PO) and even if the public opinion is in the end proven right, you still try. I don't know you that much to understand why you do that, I try to understand you but there is not enough. Anyway, it doesn't matter, you can say : <"me admin" can do it and "me player" agrees and this is enough>. From my point of view ... it is your image / name that is under the fire. (do you remember "I don't care what you say, I am under Mur's wing" ? if not, ask Dst to look it up for you) So, I propose you to do it differently : - send your proposed gifts to and / or debate it with Chewett & The Council (you'll get more insight on other's points of view) - give the person you want either trust points and / or "voting balloons" (I don't remember if they had a name) Also, I propose / request (even demand) that you punish those coming to you with personal requests. You have created precedents in giving stuff out and it will not stop without some punishments. MD is much more important then anyone of us (powerful or noob, admin or not) and has to advance & change & adapt as coding and features and all. I don't say to ignore everybody, just let the system work and do what you know best : improve MD. ---------------------------- I have exposed parts of the above in before but here it is : my complete list of complains & advices & requests/demands. As As Chewett said, these items are not for noobs and it seems, both of you (Syrian & Rophs) you can use the lesson :) As stated before, those items would "grant either + or - 1m attack and defense". :) that is all

Would you consider it funny to have someone locked in a location with high AP requirement zone with all areas marked by "no jump" ? So no, that will indeed be OP so I don't agree with spells given to players to do as they please. But spending the night / week / month on a certain location because you set the "no jump" on it ... no, it just means that you are lazy. Move to the next location, if you are afraid of being summoned , as far into your land as you can and you should be safe. Also ... you can always logout (oh, I haven't heard this reason in a very long time).

[spoiler] [/spoiler] Yes, Ailith, you have to define it because as seen today (from the announcements) we define it like : The responsibility is for the strong players to suck-it-up and keep quiet and protect the smaller and "innocent" players that will in turn have the responsibility to complain and DEMAND for powers OVER the stronger players that earned their place & strength and knowledge. In other words : - the players that earned the spell are now constraint to not use them when they need / want them - the players that PAYED for the spells are now not able to use them So, Ailith, yes, please explain what you understand by "people with powerful spells should use them responsibly." This is not about restricting all players because of one being unable to handle the truth of life (and we are in games like WoW where smaller players are hunted). This whole idea is about changes being done on request of just one person without the concern on the rest. (begging) There are very few teleport spells; just that they are hold for a better time ... you you already said that. OK, but then ... why do you restrict the players to use them when they want to use them ? isn't that the purpose of holding them for that long ? Now .. you have no excuse. There are the "No jump" scene tags that protect the players being in them to be moved with spells. (but I think that "bring in" can override this too)

Yes, since spell creation you are allowed to use them for whatever reason you want as long as it fits the requirements (see PO and the dreaming: she abused the spell when she started using the dreams as punishment) 2. You are a nobody [with no authority like most of us] and you are not allowed to make decisions for MD; that is why there are higher authorities. If you want to take a role in making decisions, get into the people council (or whatever its name was). Then you can try to do smth. Or, expose it to public , on forum, as the rest of us do, even "kings and Chew as a coder". And NO, Mur didn't gave you citizenship because he would have forced the Council to something nasty as to revoke that. Yes, I too am waiting for the outcome of this. Considering that DD actually shit on Council by going over it by asking Mur for help (that's my understanding from this topic) and actively shows his disrespect toward Council and authority ... and now DD is asking ... no demanding help from Council . The answer from Council will be interesting. I have tried to, and still do, to give second changes to others but DD is testing the limits and he is showing some lack of judgment.
