  1. Time ... when I did the topic, so it took more then 20 minute. And some requests took more then 8-10 seconds to complete having other requests spawned every second (or faster) and thus many failing.

Recently I noticed that MD is running quite poor and today I've got this : 504 Gateway Time-out After some checks I found that the server might be choked up with requests from MD: - I found ajax box.activeitem.php has even request that never end - requests to ajax like ajax.livechat.php, sesflashvars.php, ajax.onlineusers.php are quite often, sometimes even more often then 1/sec and with times of 8-11 sec / request Maybe it is not only cloudflare.

  4. It has been a long time since the number of creatures and items are no longer within a reasonable small number. I've been looking for an easy way to solve this problem. NO. Selling / sacrificing creatures is not the answer answer I am looking for, nor "saving" them to "bestiary". So, here it is: [b]1 mark (true / false) to hide creatures & items from their lists[/b]. [u]What is required[/u] ? Add in database 1 more field / flag as : hidden. [u]What does it do[/u] ? Instead of having a creature list with all the creatures / items, simply display what is chosen. Example: You would have a creature list with [url="http://storenow.net/my/?f=745a68cdd3e7d4b1762faf152cc5bb0b"]just the selected creatures[/url] , and the [url="http://storenow.net/my/?f=09ba6f9ee6d065d3b6880319b1ae181e"]complete list[/url]. [u]Where would it apply[/u] ? Just when listing the creatures : [b]creature list [/b]and when [b]selecting creatures for a ritual[/b]. [u]Are the other pages impacted[/u] ? No, there should be no impact as the list from database is mostly extracted with all fields. [u]Why[/u] ? Simple, there are too many creatures / items . ___________________________________ This could be added in the shop for 1$. This could be easily used for the inventory too.
  5. Hi Samon, You seem to disregard LotE / TB 's items as there are no tools just for this land even if it is 3 times greater then any of the "main" lands. Also, there is UG that has absolutely no tool what so ever.   7. You missed the point Alyon ... by much. The point of "sanctuaries" that are supposed to be sanctuaries when there is no HC. As the competition is not started, it is your duty to take care of the heads & competitions. I think you should be able to change the settings so that the heads would dissapear by themselves.

  17. I still don't understand why quests cannot be made for automatic setup ? Don't we already have the achievements ? All what is needed is to add rewards attractive enough and small enough to attract ppl and not to give great advantages. Just some incentives for the non RP ppl's time.

So here it is: I've got tired of all the BS some MDers say about resources and I wanted to check if all is correct. I started from looking for a solution for both useless piles of resources and lack of [url="http://magicduel.invisionzone.com/topic/13674-private-gathering-tools-their-trader/"]gathering tools[/url]. Well, it didn't went exactly as expected but it wasn't too far from it. Another reason for that topic was to gather some feedback on one of the aspects of MD reality: [b]resources[/b]. [b]Only the will of the players and their wiliness will allow the flow of resources, not the number of items.[/b] 2. do you mean that by doing what I did for that month was good ? because it controls the supply ? what would be your idea of controlling the herbs for 1 full year ? for 2 years ? I will tell you, as the idea arouse during this event : the real way to do as "desired" is to "[b]LIMIT[/b]". And if anyone denies this, they are lying. [b]So, ppl are considering to limit the number of tools even if this would limit their freedom.   25. Maebius, I must add a small remark to your comment: the event/quest category must be done on how it affects MD's progress and not if it "irritates" ppl or not. Where "Month of Free lands" was irritating, it had a purpose, even if it doesn't matter, and a finality whereas GGG's purpose was "creating an [url="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0387808/"]Idiocracy[/url]" (this movie could be an interesting debate in regards with MD's progress forecast). So please, don't ever mention GGG as a good thing. If you've seen the "Idiocracy", a pretty good comparison of the "GGG event" can be the < "Ass" movie > .
