1. apophys ID: 51654 mp4 The silver cost is a little off-putting; I have very few to spare. Are spells allowed?
2. GIMP is a lifesaver. Thanks for the link, Yrthilian. Maybe this'll help other first-timers unfamiliar with the processes: I scanned it in grayscale, fiddled with contrast and brightness until the background was pure white, set transparency, resized and cropped to 100*160, then tinted the whole thing with the correct color. EDIT: It was rejected as not transparent...
3. I like #1, because it saves a bit of mindless clicking. It's also reminiscent of the regen timer, and doesn't interfere with anything already existing. I dislike #2. It simply encourages spam; there's a Notebook everyone has that can be used for this purpose already. Copy, paste.
So only 4 1/2 hours left and the top bidder is: Shemhazaj with a bid of 8 gold 61 silver (181s) Cheers, Cutler
Looks like you missed a post.
ok, i'm game - 12 gold 5 silver (185s).
A rather well-known Celtic song, "The Scotsman" The classic (though maybe obscure) "Dead Puppies"
6. I found this beneath the CCG (literally behind the cards, where the location error was before): Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 6291456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 131072 bytes) in /home/magicdue/public_html/dlg/dlg.rpcqdocread.php on line 303
7. TS - age 28. 3 silver cost, but to a new player I'll sell for 2. PM if interested. I've sold quite a few TSs over time. References (including 2 current LHOs) available on request.
8. Unfortunately, a ring of torches would make a ring of shadows, giving Phantasm's the flexibility to shift from one to the other, making it hard to pin down. Also, I don't see anything mentioned as to how the bait's normal shadow is to be restored. Items needed: any 3 items that can make 2 separate light sources, such as 2 planks and a lighter Magic needed: levitation of bait Location: any pitch-black cave with a nice smooth floor. The Caves of Torment should work nicely, I suppose, since it is Phantasm's homeland. One helping person is needed to hold and put out Torch 1 (the torch holder is to be off the line, on the side, away from the shadow that will be cast by the bait from torch 2), and someone must levitate the bait. Configuration: <torch 1> - - - - - - - - <torch 2> - - - - - - - - - - <bait> - - - - - - - - _________________________<phantasm>_________ Steps: 1. Immobilize currently-infected bait. (we are doing this for your own safety... do not struggle...) 2. Take bait into the cave, led by Torch 1. Keep it high so the shadow is cast on the floor. Torch 1 must be the only light in the cave. If necessary, block the cave entrance. Keep the bait's shadow isolated. I.e. do not touch the bait, do not walk between the bait and the torch, etc. 3. Put the subjects in the above depicted configuration. Torch 2 is still off; phantasm is holding it in front of himself. The shadow of the bait must fall on Phantasm. This primes it for binding. 4. Levitate bait. The bait's normal shadow that will be created by Torch 2 must not touch the one cast by Torch 1, or else the bad shadow will have an escape route. 5. Turn on Torch 2. This would normally cast a shadow behind Phantasm, allowing his shadow a transfer from the bait into this new place. This also creates a shadow behind the bait; this is the bait's normal shadow, freed. 6. Put out Torch 1, without moving it. Phantasm's shadow is forced to bind to him, via the light by Torch 2, and the bait's normal shadow is strengthened. 7. Put down the bait, and exit the cave, led by Torch 2. Keep Phantasm's shadow isolated; the bindings are still weak. 8. Enter sunlight, strengthening the shadow binds. End.
9. I would like to help. I've found flaws in other quests before.
10. I like it, but there needs to be an exception like for freeze; it targets one slot, if empty it tries another, if empty, it gives up. This is to make it slightly more difficult to counter single elems. And yes, make it possible for one crit to be infected by several at once. How would trees, healers, etc, be infected? Would they apply their bonus to the enemy? Parasite vs water daimon -> I steal my life, and give it to myself!... lol...
Right so it sounds like it could be a strategic creature. Use 5 parasites and one creature that can damage all and you have a way to keep it functional. Cutler
Easily countered, btw. Nutcracker (or Santa, whichever heals the opponent, I keep mixing them up) + UP, at low vit. I personally think it should be able to target Weak in addition to Dying.
11. - when you hear a sound similar to one in MD (PM, incoming attack, or new chat post) and your first instinct is to check it out (the PM, log, or post), ... and then you realize you are far away from a computer at the time. I.e. you have a conditioned response. I have experienced this several times over the past few weeks (IIRC, the sounds of 1 PM, 2 attacks, and 2 chat posts, all from water splashing in a drain...)
12. I very much like the longer regen times for noncitizens, though I doubt newbies will enjoy it... However, I dislike the 90 max AP. A 90 AP cap makes it harder to do as much in a certain timeframe, such as make attacks or run away from a pursuer. If the point was to make it difficult to reach certain areas, it would be better, IMHO, to simply increase the cost of going there to something like 120 AP. I wouldn't mind that at all. It'll take some time getting used to.
13. If I remember correctly, he did change it a few days ago. DST, please confirm.

15. A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court by Mark Twain. Good book I read around a decade ago; my favorite. Maybe I'll reread it someday. The Dark is Rising series by Susan Cooper. Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer. I haven't read a good book in a long while; these all I read many years ago.

17. For the basic decks: I would recommend moving the aramor lv2 and elem lv3 (II) down to mp3, the aramor lv3 down to mp4, the tree and water lv2 up to mp4, and the angien lv2 up to mp5. Many mp3 cannot enter LR, and many mp4 cannot get angiens. So only the basic levels would be visible, as the other LR creatures at mp3. I would further suggest to bring the aramor lv3 down to mp3, and the bird lv2 to mp4. Not all mp3s can get enough VE to hatch the birds, even if they get the eggs. Every mp3 has maxed an aramor... Less spoilerish.

19.
The people of GGG don't bother to look elsewhere, and a lot of us don't _EVER_ go there to promote something, be it party, happening or quest, if they prefer to stay out of my ways, fine with me, but don't expect me to leave my tracks to make sure you know what i'm up to right now. So... if i was partying every night, it'd go without you noticing.
1. GGG was originally at the Cellar Door (when I was invited in by Awiiya). It was (for me) only a method of getting wins to help spread out xp easier. I've said this already, but below mp5, this is the main use of the GGG. 2. You have barely touched on the Dojo of Lost XP. 3. Why not advertise in GGG? That's where half of all the people are; you'd get a nice big audience.

21.
Still, tokens are something you pay for. Before suggesting anything, please consider: Why should anyone go buy tokens if they are useless, or negative even? That's why I suggest something that doesnt harm tokens too great, otherwise nobody would use them.
EDIT: I know you didn't point this specifically at my suggestion, but I find it a very valid point that I want to clarify my suggestion with respect to. Tokens are only "useless" if they end up on the wrong crit. This is something I actually improve in my suggestion (part 2), by giving a disruption value against other tokened rituals. Well-tokened rits at 100% would counter well-tokened rits at 0%. In my suggestion, a token would have overall negative effect (by part 1) only if it landed on a creature with 19 tokens already, assuming all have a 5% debuff, and assuming all tokens equal. I doubt this would be the case; debuffs should be different on different tokens, and even absent on others. The negative effect could be amplified by overstacking like 50 power tokens on an Unholy Priest, and if the opponent has a Tormented Soul, the UP could do massive negative Martirism. Stats would never actually become negative on their own, because this compounds multiplicatively, not additively. A creature with "too many tokens" would still be useful for token disruption in 100% slider rituals. It's just a creative cap, which makes the currently unbeatable rits counterable (using your own tokens or TSs), and does not seem to create new unbeatable rits. Tokens would still be very good, and would still crush non-tokened rits without TSs. The incentive to buy is still there.
22. I agree tokens need to be changed. But why not simply add a negative effect to tokens? Hmm? Let them balance themselves. Place a debuff effect on each token on the creature of 3-5% of its total stats (including token effects). Pin this to the % slider. This debuff would stack with each token, and could maybe be different for each type of token. This would eventually cap the creature's power. For 5%, it takes 19 tokens for max power, at about 14.7 times the creature's original power, assuming each token adds double the creature's original stats. Graph: y = (2x + 1)(1 - .05)^(2x) x is the number of tokens; y is the overall power. Also, on every tokened creature, reduce the strength of all other tokened creatures in play, by 10%, and by 1% per token on it (multiplicatively, so .9*.99^x). This would have inverse relation on the % slider; at 100% a creature is not affected, at 0% the creature is maximally weakened. This would allow otherwise useless tokens to have a disruption value. EDIT: Clarification. The debuffs should apply after all auras (but still calculating on pre-aura stats), so that TSs could counter tokens.
23. Two things: 1. Right-click, hold down, and click a number square to uncover all unmarked squares around it, if the number of surrounding marked squares equals the number on the square. (you could simplify this to simply right-clicking a number square) 2. When uncovering an empty (0) square, all surrounding squares are immediately revealed. (they should still get covered by returning water) These two aspects of minesweeper make it much easier and more fun to play. A lack of them in this fishing has annoyed me to no end. I play MD on a laptop, and using the touchpad is slow, so I'd love to save time by reducing clicks.
24. I agree with Burns. If actions are forced, the names may as well be random. I hope the empty aramor incident makes it into the AL.
