1. Current rate is about 5credits for 1 gold. Gold's value is not equal to the amount of credits spent to get it because on the way to get that gold you get other stuff worth your credit. Gold is more like a bonus for finishing an item category.
2. I agree with this, and I think it is conceptually sound as well. The "number" of a resource reflects its level of existence/reality, not amount, so it's perfectly logical that someone with a long experience in handling a certain resource (reflected by skill) to be able to harvest resources that is more "existent".
3. It's one of the stuff that is rather rarely traded, since people are not willing to pay that much for the creature (it's not overly rare), yet the cost to make one is quite big IMHO (a WP). I personally would just use the WP on something else than selling it for a mere gold.
4. Will be scarce in MD for a while.. please forgive delayed responses

please take your time, sir :)

5. Just a pointer that for
The Council email is now back up, as all other @magicduel emails should be. If this is not the case, contact bugs@magicduel.com Awi
Just for this case, might be better to have an alternate place to report @magicduel email bugs.. after all, if it affects all email on the domain then the bugs email address might be bugged as well.
6.
Chewett, I've gotten over 30 pms from players stating what I did was the right thing. It's amazing how long it is taking the community to revive it's beloved Wookie. Perhaps you aren't as well liked as I thought. Perhaps I should have killed Grido, or Handy? O.o
We know people liked you enough that they gathered to revive you.. perhaps a suicide is a good option?
7. I can supply movelock or attacklock (both lv 2). Would work better for me if you can provide the blank stones though, as I don't have a steady supply of those atm (we can arrange for a method to cover the cost of the stone - more spell/less resource etc).
8.
I almost guarentee, that if the next BHC does not involve Eon, there will be MANY more players participating. I would certainly play.
Next BHC might not have Eon as the organizer, but I'm sure he'll still participate... and i doubt there'll be any change in participation.
9.
Wow wow wow people. We can argue a lot of council's decisions, but this one was spot on. They presented some problems regarding BHC: -Lack of people competing -Conflict of interests due to Eon participating in a contest which rules he forms All they did was point that out and offer few suggestions (and decrease a trust point from Eon, but he would have had them more left, and it's kinda deserved, because of the mentioned points and the general discontent of the public). As soon as he got that, he rage-quits. It is Eon's job to make the BHC work, it's not his private property. Sure, we all understand Eon's "uneasiness" regarding council's lack of doing/fixing things, but it's the case with all of us, not just with him. There's even an urban myth that Dst and Eon get all of their requests done! Okay, you don't like the council, but be objective. Edit: We all know Mur is absent for quite some time, and we don't know for how much longer will it be the case. The authority of MD at the moment is the council, they are supposed to make sure things work, so, change certain details if things are going wrong in some situations. Eon hiding behind "Mur said so" and "Mur is my captain" mask is not that elegant at all.
If it was just expressing concerns it would be alright.. but taking a trust point is a form of punishment.. for stuff in which I believe Eon is not at fault at all. He can't really have done anything regarding the lack of contestant, and he's only done things he was told to/allowed to after all. Taking a trust point here was a mistake in my opinion; I don't see which "trust" have been broken.
10. Have read the PMs, but haven't had the chance to think on it and reply. Sorry for the delay for all of you who sent me PMs.

11. So long, and do hop in again sometime in the future, when hopefully life isn't so complicated anymore
12. Really depends on your expectation and definition of an RP game (aka RPG.) For extreme examples there are freeform writing/chat game kind of RPGs, then there are stuff like console RPGs where combat is a very integral part (sometimes even the main part). MD is unique in that you can choose what to do here, fully RP only (though not free-form), or play the combat aspect only, or like most people do, experience and enjoy both aspects of the game. If you think that one aspect is less important to MD to the other, though, then yes, I believe it's a mistaken perception.

A funeral
A funeral pyre is a great deal bigger than a little campfire, and even campfires are usually done in clearings, so the wind doesn't blow embers on a nearby tree. I agree that Ash Arch is a very bad place for this. If it must be in Loreroot, only Wasp's Totem has a large enough clearing (and nearby water to put out fire). I still would prefer to see it at the GoE though.
Personally I think Wasp's Altar, being a place that is designed to generate tons of heat should be able to withstand a bonfire as well.
14.
Crafters and Lair Keepers had a mechanical role, by which I mean they were given unique abilities to accomplish their purpose, how often are those abilities used, though? Even now, the Lair Keepers is violating the three member "rule", and it will continue to do so because Indyra is as inactive as ever. The Crafters, on the other hand, have five members, yet only one is active. I admire Udgard's dedication, but he alone is not an alliance. I challenge the members of these alliances to step forward and tell me that they indeed have a role and it is being fulfilled by more than one member.
Crafter's role is... well, item creation. Administratively it deals with creation of inventory items, and role-playing wise it's a guild for people who RPs item creation as a major part of their role. Administratively I take care of all item creation process that requires the interface, with Phantom Orchid helping me with some of the requests' process (material requirements, item name/descriptions). I'm not sure how the community in general feels about our work and membership, but I'd just like to point out some things in the crafters that might not be so common in other alliances/guilds. Part of our policy is that no one is forced to wear the badge. As a neutral guild (and to a certain extent, an administrative one), we want our members to be able to come from any land, as we serve all lands without discrimination, and thus they are not forced to wear the badge (which will force loreroot citizenship on them). This means there are members that you don't see wearing the badge often, but is actually a member (actually something pretty common back in the old times - I remember artisans and legend speakers having non-badge members, there might be others though).
15. Tokened pimp and imp 3sc each. Angien 2gc 6 sc
16. I think the CoE being disbanded for lack of members is one of the stupidest thing I've seen. Stupid, as before the takeover they have more than enough member, and since when do you need a lot of team to takeover an alliance or risk it get disbanded? Well, rant aside, I support this.
17. 10 gc #10 (20 token rust) 2 gc 2 sc #18 (angien)
18. Bump, updated first post.
19. I'd agree that citizenship is one of the most important thing to finish right now. With the recent features being heavily tied to it (viscosity & land loyalty, shared item loyalty requirement), focusing on this would bring positive effects to the other issues as well. If citizenship is fixed, newer players can actually get to play with items and move around easier in their homelands, giving them plenty of things to play with before eventually moving on to more restricted areas as they gain more AP from active days.
