Mur has said he has planned "some" way of replacing the things lost in story mode. However I dont know what that is. I shall contact him but he isnt working on MD atm as he is busy doing other things.

Potentially, I only mention it since I believe Grido gave his view on a number of things we discussed previously. Grido never found a solution he was happy me implementing as an improvement

There was another thread where grido replied to a number of these points giving his views.

Its interesting to see that many would become MP6 if they could freely, for whatever reason. I will ponder. Further feedback is welcome.

MP5 is also a requirement to MP7, Does this confuse the model more! Im not aware thats ever been said. When the creature requirements were created and some creatures were MP6 early mur planned many people to only visit MP6 for a period of time to max out their creatures. That everyone would eventually visit it. This turned out too annoying for the protectors as they all just kept falling as the next fighter wanted to max his crits, so I removed the MP6 requirement after talking with Mur.

But its not? The "final" stage is MP5. MP6 is a stage for protectors and MP7 is illusions. End game is MP5 where your character becomes an "adult"

If you are able to, and not restricted by needing to gather X adepts, would you become a MP6 and why. If you havent been a MP6 before, please state why not.

I didnt see that quote, but still stand by what I said, and that it is unfair if you are going to judge it purely on how people percieved the post. Also, as a note, If I missed it, did others? you dont know.

To be entirely fair Rheaggy, You only asked for votes you didnt ask for votes and reasons. So you couldnt possible award it on the basis of some people giving more than you asked. If you think that the reasons also matter, you should ask all players to vote and give one or two reasons then it will be fair. Otherwise you are awarding something based on mere understanding of what you wanted which doesnt seem very fair at all.

Question: is not asking peoples personal views and beliefs, itself a little... invasive? I wouldnt publicly post my religious beliefs, etc, on MD or anywhere on the internet and surely thats going to be the main reasoning for why someone would or wouldnt find it offensive?

Sounds like another reason to not have it. We shouldnt be making these automatic checkboxes and things "for people too lazy". MD is a game where we dont automate things, and make some things a lot harder (e.g. PM'ing people) because it adds effort

What if you worship someone already? Also if we are making it more powerful then some wOnt want it to be automatic

How odd, on my IE 11 browser none of the buttons actually load (I believe it feels its too old/broken a browser to load it) Anyone else experience similar behaviour? Blackrider, have you tried updating to the latest version?

As Ary pointed out, these are the current (or were current) items that the simulator will accept including a seed http://magicduel.invisionzone.com/topic/16600-the-big-combat-bugfix-more-information/?p=165630 The simulator will be more useful as I will store all inputs to the simulator, and then output, and from this the simulator can be rerun with different levels of logging, or ran through step by step to see precisely what it is doing. Since all the inputs will be stored, they wont be depdendant on things that change and become impossible to reattain (aka wins, effects, stats at the time, etc etc) which is the current problem with combat.

This is why I plan to change combat into a simulation type model. The simulator accepts all the paramters, starts it up, and then runs. Calculates effects to apply to the player (stats and such) and then passed back to the game. This means we can try and combination in the simulator as we want to easily repeat combat, and find bugs.
