I have finished this quest. Why? Forum was getting spammed and i had to do something. I also have numerious things i need to use the forum for, for my role. Numerius has publically stated my entries arnt in the format and that i wont win... In conclusion, Mur and council have made it clear that the type of quest shouldnt be ran, let alone be given a WP for. about a quarter of entries are on my profile page, i didnt even waste my time uploading all the other stuff since Numerius wont count it.

This, I humbly propose that once someone adepts a "master", this bond may not be removed without the master's approval (through some coding, ofc). This would not only make this kind of bond stronger and with more meaning (rather than just clicking of buttons to help someone) but it would allow new people to search and learn to be with a teacher. If you're an adept of someone, it should be a clear sign that another teacher should not interfere with the master's ways.[/color][/font] I would disagree one teacher shouldnt help someone else, specifically restricting yourself to one teacher could have adverse affects, like if a teacher tells you to join every land just to get land loyalty. If you talked to just them and they said it was ok, then you might think this behavior is the norm. There are many peolpe who dont have, nor will be learning any more in MD, who should they adept, no one? I see adept as being fluid and worshipper being strong. Worshipper works as you described, they cannot leave after they have done a lot of work with you. Just changing them to now being able to quit until they drop makes this better. Furthermore as i said above, voting via adepting someone else, would be a path along the way of leaving them, but reducing their adepts and making them more likely to fail. The intention would be that people will now take adepting more seriously, and will think a great deal about choosing someone as their master. Thus, gaining adepts would not be that easy. Essentually your idea but switching adept for protector with a couple changes.

I agree worshippers should do more than bug people to follow them. It would be nice to see some benifit from worshipping someone, from the POV of older players, instead of they can give you 20 vital energy. Demanding things and other such things would be cool, since we are "tied" to them until they fall, we can vote for them by adepting them or not, if they are mean and we want them to fall.

[/quote] If you are sure that you once did buy the access, and now cannot get it, then it definately was reset and you spent the wishpoints on something else. I have modified the Current and past WP's page to detail what you have used them for. This should allow people to tally up what they spent.

First, before i start any of this, i will point out something. Im not paid to do what i do, i do it because i find coding and MD exceptionally fun. However there are always things that you have to do which aren't fun. I spent a good chunk of my time trying to find out how a very large number of accounts got access to a load of secret areas for no apparent reason. I have still not found it and still dont know what has happened. This is the same with the research since it is rendrils area and i did not code it. But it hasnt stopped me spending many hours on it. This is not fun. There was a choice, between letting many accounts have access to many scenes they shouldnt, or implemented the only fix possible, this one. I discussed with council as to how they wanted but they also did not know what else could have been done. I have also seen people be offensive towards me, personally, both on the forum and on email about the issue. This is also not fun. I have spent my time trying to fix issues ingame and you, MD, respond as you did? Makes me not want to do anything honestly, its sickening how you seem unable to respond nicely. But here i am still making this topic. The fix is bad, it should have been done by mur when he did it, but he probably didnt think of resetting access like this. He could not have known that some big key issue would occur. He did not do it to spite you, nor have i. Previously when you went up a mindpower you lost these keys. Mur originally just refunded all WP's used to buy them, then if you lost them when upgrading a mindpower you could rebuy them. This meant that those who didnt lose them gained a or three free wishpoints. This is why you didnt get refunded WP's now, because you already had been. [b]There are two options for this thread. Either we can discuss nicely the issue and possible solutions. Offer suggestions as to what can be done now and try and work towards another solution. Or you can be offensive, i shall close the thread, and not attempt to help anyone else regards to the issue. You can deal with council.[/b] [b]Your choice.[/b]

[/quote] Surely you can see that there was no possible way to give a heads up since it was not known this fix would need to be implemented? This wouldnt have been done if the keys hadnt broken, something that was not expected nor do we still know what is wrong with them. A heads up would have only been someone going "this is going to change in the next couple days" because it was a completely unexpected event that occured. It seems a tad unfair to be demanding a heads up for the unexpected. Mur could not have known this would have happened years down the line. Do you not feel this is slightly unreasonable since it could not have been expected.

While it is unfortunate to have had to taken such an action, this should have been the action mur took before and i can see no other way of doing it. Feel free to make suggestions if you really want to.
