P.s. Does anyone know if the bathroom in the archives is still normally accessible?
should be, its under large amounts of AP though.
Edit: Also, does anyone know some more about the glassware in the archives?
Mwuhahahaha the plans move on
And i'd suggest 'time taken' to not be used, because of Einstein's argument. Maybe a fun/thrill rating instead. I can imagine many quests that go by quickly, but are no fun, and wouldn't think of them as better than quests that take long, but make people enjoy themselves.
The rating for time taken would be used to assess different types of quests, rather than how good/fun/hard it was. The assumptions that a short quest is better than a long one is silly, as you point out.

I believe you dont get Active days. A possible solution is to via login, then visit the main MD layout page, which "normally" gives you your active day. However i cant attest to that properly because i cant remember if it did work. However i agree this is not an idea or even helpful solution. But mobile MD needs a number of changes.
Since there were numerous people donating credits, I think they (at least those donated ones, we don't have to maintain the link for further donations) should be used as was planned in the general picture. So, credits given to LHOs for example, use them as pay, or for sponsorship of some LHO-glorifying event.
agreed on that front, i was in discussion with grido on that point a couple months ago
-
Note: This is talking about an older feature called the Treasury. This is different from the TK treasury and drachorns lair. The treasury allowed you to donate credits to a specific faction. At present there are only 3 factions you could donate credits to, the LHO's, the now defunct artesians guild and the Golden Globe Gazette. There is currently no system in place to get these credits back or distribute them, but that can be implemented later. Does anyone see a possible use for them? have ideas why they might be useful? complain that they used the feature?

A new Quest Voting page has been designed and is currently being implemented. This will be used to judge bigger quests such as MD Birthday events and can be used by any quest maker and TK's to judge quests they are sponsoring. The basic interface is available via a link on the topbar but it does not work at the moment. One useful facet is that it is anonymous and can allow quest makers to receive feedback relating to their quest easily from those ingame. A discussion has been created on the forum as to make suggestions to improve it or questions.

I can look at ignoring the required subnet, probably a /24 region if this continues to prove a problem.

I have removed my entries as they are lies. Please hold no credence from them, the emails or anything else.

You have publically stated that you do not consider my entries "right" Player Name to receive reward: Chewett Period of Trial: 14 March - 22 March Proof of Pain: magicduel.com/players/chewett I have not uploaded the images due to forum space, i trust this is a valid entry?
-
I have finished this quest. Why? Forum was getting spammed and i had to do something. I also have numerious things i need to use the forum for, for my role. Numerius has publically stated my entries arnt in the format and that i wont win... In conclusion, Mur and council have made it clear that the type of quest shouldnt be ran, let alone be given a WP for. about a quarter of entries are on my profile page, i didnt even waste my time uploading all the other stuff since Numerius wont count it.

True / False: 7. Did you collected below the limit ?
Chewett replied to No one's topic in Seal Of Six
no - its stupid to collect below the 66% limit because then you can collect less the next day. -
True / False: 6. Did you found the resource locations accessible ?
Chewett replied to No one's topic in Seal Of Six
yes - mostly, apart from tribunal due to visosity, but thats a general visc issue really. its just a pain to get through -
True / False: 4. Did the availability of gathering tools bothered you ?
Chewett replied to No one's topic in Seal Of Six
yes - some lands are clearly unbalanced (as a side not im working with a number of players to balance out the shared item tools to make them fairer for all lands, there are big diferences between lands at the moment) -
True / False: 5. Did you found that there are enough resources in MD ?
Chewett replied to No one's topic in Seal Of Six
yes - there are not enough recipies to use them in -
True / False: 3. Did the availability of resources bothered you ?
Chewett replied to No one's topic in Seal Of Six
yes - avaliblity of tools limit avaliblity of resources -
True / False: 2. Did you managed to get the resources you wanted ?
Chewett replied to No one's topic in Seal Of Six
no - greedy GG people charge for things that should be free. -
True / False: 1. Did you ever tried to harvest resources ?
Chewett replied to No one's topic in Seal Of Six
yes and no are mutually exclusive for this... its stupid having it as a selection. Similarly having it being a checkbox is foolish. yes - i wanted more skill and was bored. -
Beserkers, Oak tower and LR back entrence Key fix INFORMATION
Chewett replied to Chewett's topic in General Forum
Good news, council agreed on the option they were discussing.
Ann. 2510 - [2013-03-11 17:01:58 - Stage 11] We have spent some time looking at the possible options and feel that the best solution is to offer everyone that lost access due to the bugfix the ability to "trade in" some of their wishpoints for the access again. This would involve removing something that they had originally purchased. This is to reflect the fact that people may value access to these locations more than things they later purchased. We are still very sorry that the fix had to be implemented, but want to try and ensure that as few people are affected by this as possible. If you lost access and wish to trade one or multiple of your Wishpoints for access, email us the following (copied from the used WP page) one or more times. Only those who lost access to the locations are able to do this. WP access: Beserkers Charge WP to remove: Playername of wish giver on date: Reason for WP: Used for: Locate spell 8 charges, regenerable
-
1) Adepting shouldn't be taken that lightly. A person should adept someone who is really his/her teacher. This, I humbly propose that once someone adepts a "master", this bond may not be removed without the master's approval (through some coding, ofc). This would not only make this kind of bond stronger and with more meaning (rather than just clicking of buttons to help someone) but it would allow new people to search and learn to be with a teacher. If you're an adept of someone, it should be a clear sign that another teacher should not interfere with the master's ways. I would disagree one teacher shouldnt help someone else, specifically restricting yourself to one teacher could have adverse affects, like if a teacher tells you to join every land just to get land loyalty. If you talked to just them and they said it was ok, then you might think this behavior is the norm. There are many peolpe who dont have, nor will be learning any more in MD, who should they adept, no one? I see adept as being fluid and worshipper being strong. Worshipper works as you described, they cannot leave after they have done a lot of work with you. Just changing them to now being able to quit until they drop makes this better. Furthermore as i said above, voting via adepting someone else, would be a path along the way of leaving them, but reducing their adepts and making them more likely to fail. 2) Reduce the number of adepts required to be Protector to 15, or even 10. The intention would be that people will now take adepting more seriously, and will think a great deal about choosing someone as their master. Thus, gaining adepts would not be that easy. And anyways, once the bond between an adept and master becomes strong, it would be difficult to maintain 20 other similar bonds. Almost impossible, actually. This sounds like you just want to make it easier for people to upgrade their creatures... 3) If the above two really do come into being, Protectors should really be equipped with some proper things other than heals to make that bond stronger. As i have mentioned before, discussions for improving protector powers turned into a mudfight with one previous protector screaming that she was being penalized and such. When i actually went to talk to protectors privately only one person actually gave good feedback. Edit: Also, adept days requirement would also have to be increased a bit again so that someone doesn't adept someone without knowing the bond. It should help the adept more than the Protector. The adept should not do someone a favor by making him MP6 cause he is asking or wishing for it. Rather, the Protector should be the one who is working hard enough to devote himself so that the adept can learn. I see adept being on a path to worshipper. Essentually your idea but switching adept for protector with a couple changes.
-
I agree worshippers should do more than bug people to follow them. It would be nice to see some benifit from worshipping someone, from the POV of older players, instead of they can give you 20 vital energy. Demanding things and other such things would be cool, since we are "tied" to them until they fall, we can vote for them by adepting them or not, if they are mean and we want them to fall.

Beserkers, Oak tower and LR back entrence Key fix INFORMATION
Chewett replied to Chewett's topic in General Forum
Maybe i'm missing something important here, if so please enlighten me. Seeing that the WPs 'remember' what they were spent on, wouldn't it be possible to reset them point by point, technically? Obviously that's not a good idea for everything, like points spent on research points, locations or clickable access, and possibly also for the 'increase VE' thingies (not sure if they record how much that increase was at the time), but maybe it could be possible to the take wishes back that you spent on spells? For example, if i had spent a wish to get 4 guardian army, and decide that this spell just isn't worth it, i might want to take that wish back and spend it on something else instead, maybe another spell, maybe access to scripting, who knows. That could, for example, be implemented as shop feature somewhere deep down the extra features section, probably 3-5 uses per reset, and each credit spent allows you to, for the lack of better words, relocate a wish. [This might also help with complaints about spells that work in questionable ways, compared to their description.]
council have already asked me the technical viability of this when i was discussing the fix with them, to which my answer was yes it is possible.
