mi mIJust out of curiosity, I was in story mode at time of Mur's gifts, and when I got out couldn't get any gifts, apparently i wasn't elgible for gifts.was it because I was too late? By the way, mp5 should count as not an opportunistic grabber of the free gifts.just my opinion, lol
When you got out did you get the same message as above?
i do not currently posses any map although i am aware how i would escape if "trapped" on the island,I am guessing anyone caught selling a "map" or any directions to the maze under any circumstances may face a similar sanction if they were a Golemus Citizen?
I would hope for them to be punished more than this. It is indeed spoilers again.
okay, I know I am not a citizen of gollemus and all, but I just need to clarify something, even if it does not change a thing:the two players who asked mcvitie to show them the way through the maze, samon and Sorain (an mp4 and an mp3, actualy), where looking for me after I got in myself. I had already been through the maze before and have a map I drew using my experiences in there, so I know how to direct myself in it. I crossed it and they could easily have followed me through, as I left a direct track. I think any mp3 can follow the track left behind by someone who get through, for I am pretty shure all those who know the way take a direct route, not doing any side-steps to elude someone who could follow their track. So, as to taking an mp3 through I believe that it is not a real problem, as long as the mp3 knows where the maze takes, and I know many mp3s who do, it is not a real secret.
Try trying to follow someone's tracks without knowing the maze, its pretty hard, once you have played around with it it becomes easy, but until you know that its a devilishly tricky puzzle. Taking someone through the maze, is less worse than leaving a direct trail for anyone to follow, but still can be punished on the spoiler rule.
Chewett... did you just mean to call me and other people here a dishonest flunky, just because we like that painting? I could comment it, but lol, not gonna go as low as you did... As for BF opinion, he is entitled to it as well as the ones who like the painting.

Lemme get this straight then... if I compliment Mur on a piece of work because I think he is talented then Im brainwashed into "Mur Apraisal" and I can only form my own opinions if its negative?
Ah i knew that post would come back to bite me . I would never call anyone "a dishonest flunky" Nor am i part of the "Mur Brainwashing cult" But i do get exceedingly annoyed when Mur does something, and then certain people will appraise it massively, just because its Mur. I find it rather nice that someone can openly admit they dont like it or think its "ok" Wheras certain groups will automatically praise it as if it has never been done before. Some people continue to "suck up" by saying ludicrous things, those people are pretty obvious, and it does annoy me so. My comment was that someone was honest to say they didnt think it was anything special. I liked that honesty and thusly posted. It was not saying that everyone else was lying which it seems you have assumed this. If i had wanted to stir things up, i could have said that, it would have indeed caused a stir and you could have posted as you did. Please do not take what i post and change my meaning to something else. If i want to stir up people i will do it so. As a side note i think its wonderful, But i never really post on "art appreciation" topics as i dont have a clue about art, as my definition is a cool looking computer Wallpaper.
Cherry blossom tree in hell, nothing special in this from my point of view. You all are so easy to attract from things "Mur" did...
someone speaks they mind and opinion honestly. I applaud you!
the main thing about it as of now, is the fact that practically no one match in DNA. DNA as of now is based solely off the "IQ" choices that most all of us reading this have completed. In all the DNA's out there I have only heard of one match so far. So any benefit to DNA, would have to call for an overhaul of how the DNA system works. Otherwise 1 in a 1000 ratio would ever benefit from such a use. This of course is from my perspective, and I know little about DNA. Perhaps it would be good to start with trying to find people who match in DNA structures, and see what kind of a ratio there really is with DNA matching as of now.
Someones dna matches? Who? Also i think he wasnt nesscarily talking about if it matches, but if you have certain DNA parts. If it was based on matching dna then its prettymuch pointless

Because we have no king currently, as head of the forums, the MB council have decided i should take over whether people should be allowed into the citizenship forum or not. You have been added to the section Princess Katt -
Well I guess I can make a map but for personal use I guess. Another question: - Is there any other good places in the maze besides the entrance and the exit? - Is there a hidden something in there? - Is it worth it to make a map of the whole maze?
That would be a spoiler. Find it our yourself
@ Awiiya: the second idea might work with some tweaking. I think it wouldn't make sense if there isn't a minimum amount of votes before it checks the rate. There is the possibility of farming no's if you have a large amount of ips available though.
Give me a vote based on IP's and i shall show any result you want. Any king of voting should be based on similar ideas to kingship, because that removes most influence of alts
Perhaps, instead of "Nothing interesting here right now" it could randomly grab one of the hints that currently appear in the triggers box. Once someone inserts something into a clickable it disables the hint and shows the contents of the clickable instead. That would make every clickable contain something that pertains directly to MD and doesn't interfere with clickable use.
Not entirely sure that a rock should be giving me combat tips
-
Intresting different viewpoints i suppose. Im just tired of people putting random stuff in the clickables and when you are trying to do a quest where you use clickables and one of the main clickies you want to use is taken for something random, so you have to direct people to the specific clicky entry.
A-i) "Oh, there is no point training this creature more since that's its level cap, lets train other devastating creatures now."
They will be merely restricted to creatures that normal people will more likely to have.
A-ii) "Well, I might not be able to get a level 4 Drachorn, but neither can anyone else, so I'll still train mine to level 3 since it is effectively the same."
Come come, Dont be foolish, You can clearly see that if Drachorns are only got by mp3's whome are alts. there are few/no real mp3's who have attained drachorns in this early age. Also, if they can only train it to a more limited level, they wil be weaker and more easily killed by normal creatures. It makes no difference to competeing alts BUT a large difference to the new mp3's. I TOTALLY diasagree with this point as it is a foolish point.
B) You are restricting ritual diversity, meaning that you are re-introducing the problem you complained about with MP3/4 not knowing how to fight in preparation for the next MP level. "Oh look, water Daimon/Knator/Elemental/Bird/Angien is almost useless like this, so I might as well sacc it and never train one again"
I disagree with this again. Normal mp3's who train are not able to get angiens, and birds are hard to obtain. If you train normally, mp3's will move on before leveling up too many creatuers, if the limits are put in effectively then a normal mp3 wont be effected
You are suggesting automation, but you've made it clear that an automated bump to mp5 is not the best of choices. There are people like you, Zleiphneir, and others that remain at mp4 and are a nuisance to nobody. So then there are two options to make this a human decided thing:1. Have a few people designated with the power to bump people up to mp5.2. Have a vote-like choice either on a player's details or after a battle with the player. Essentially, it will say, "Should this player be mp4/mp3" and if the ratio between yes and no is too high, that person moves up.AwiPS: my personal opinion is that the second would solve many things, especially if the vote came after being attacked by a player. This would allow people who never attack to stay at mp4 forever, since nobody could vote them yes or no.
I disagree with purposely pushing people up levels if they dont want to. If you limit certain things to the higher Mindpowers and make it so that you are more tempted towards mp5 then it would cause less frustration. Burns solution would be very good i feel.

I like the idea, sounds like a really good one. Anything to stop people massing crits at mp3 and slaughtering real mp3s
Could I ask roughly how many people have such editing rights? And could they be persuaded to "refresh" the items a bit more often? When I was a newly-joined player I tried to explore as much as I could, and discovering these "clickable" bits of the landscape was always exciting, until I realized that most of them were "Unusable". Not even flavour text Seemed like a wasted opportunity.
At a guess i would say between 20 and 30 people have access to editing them. But just writing random rubbish on them is discouraged because it makes it harder for when someone makes a quest or useful interface with them. As to refreshing them, im sure if you contacted someone with clicky editing NICELY they would refresh whatever you asked.
