  1. Innuendo, the dojo area is specifically not intended to be a sanctuary. It is a place to battle, and heal...all things that can't be done in "safe areas". The point of the dojo is to commit planned and organized offenses with the consent of other players. It allows newbies and more experienced players alike to learn more of setting effective rituals, and defenses. Please don't take the ability to attack away...we don't want another sanctuary.
  2. Thanks for digging into this one, at first I paid little attention because I was one of the weakest alliance members, but lately it's been getting to bug me. Nice to see something done, and thanks for all the help!

    No Man's Land

As no man's land includes the road of battles, and the battle torn scenery I see no reason why there ought not be two alliances who cover that ground. It may make for some interesting historical interpretation. As a whole I would like to see more alliances in game.
  4. I think that's a great idea. There are many items in the shop that are loyalty purchases. Is staying adepted not a show of loyalty? What about something like 30 days adeptship = 10 loyalty pts. Also perhaps an adept could "learn" by adepting. Earning one stat pt per month...that stat being their tutors strongest.
  5. To the above, I like the same for free @ 3 messages per month...with one credit per additional message up to 10. Give the folks a freebie...it entices them to buy.
  6. Happiest of Birthdays! GChick may be first, but I hope not the last. Wishing you the best on your special day.
  7. I do believe our actions and pollution affect the environment, but I also think what we are seeing is a part of the natural cycle of things. We may hasten it but it will come in any case. We all know from high school science that the earth has gone through ice ages....dosn't it seem natural that the opposite would also be true? Heat leaves less geographical evidence than ice does, so it seems natural that heat ages are not mentioned. What made the ice go away though? These temparate ages (ice ages at least with proof) last hundreds of years...I think what we are experiencing with global warming is seeing the opposite and natural other end of the spectrum. Are we messing up the environment? yes. Would it happen eventually anyway? yes, I think so.
  8. This has happened again...In a victorious battle even I got no loyalty at all...though that time I was not penalized any loyalty myself. It may be a bug just in me...I have examples of losing honor when winning as well.
  9. It would be nice at least if not mass-messaging in player profile there were a link to adepts (as well as their masters). With current friend list, and in screen only mailing...it's difficult to think of trying to contact all the adepts needed for mp6
  10. I think your theories for restoring balance in both celestial matters, and matters of everyday affairs are most well put. I myself must lean on the side of #3. We don't KNOW that we can harness the dark left behind by the killing of the shades. Furthermore I think the secret of contacting Angiens may be best served through them. It is certain shades know more of Angiens than we, and if our Alliances can cooperate, it may serve both our purposes. A theory I myself have been pondering is this. Angiens, at least pictorially draw out the world of Marind Bell. While shades may be the darkness we miss, I wonder that the lightness of the Angiens is not that of the heavens themselves? If Shades represent the night, surely Angiens are the holders of moonbeams and starlight.
  11. The only thing I know of is dst has a rather interesting love of trees....you may want to watch out Treehill
  12. That was funny....I am a funniful girl. It takes all kinds I suppose though. There was no hint, if you are as unfortunate as I was you will figure it out for yourself soon enough. Honestly, I don't think it's a secret you want to learn.
  13. Those are amazing, I really love the first it is so full of movement and vitality. The last one is just insanely cool, and the two in the middle are far better than I can do. It's great to have someone like you creating these avatars!
  14. It does multiple good things, but if I recall also wipes out VE
  15. nope
  16. I don't think this is a good reason because in a rit your attacking power is divided into the number of creatures in a rit. An 8 creature rit could actually be weaker then a 6 creat rit, making it less not more effective. Also as dst mention alliance members can attack all levels. This would only make it even more unbalanced.
  17. Sol this was a really good post. I agree with your idea to maybe allow three days when new players can only attack players of the same age....and then out into the big bad world. Dst is right too though. Those that stick with it are those that can handle a little frustration. At the very least I think he is right about putting on more LHOs to helps with this.
  18. to Faraday, what you said above is true. Because there are so many new people in the area all do not know the rules. I will make sure to inform them. Spoilers will be kept to a minimum.
  19. This happened to me yesterday with the same RPC, I don't know what it's about, but it sucked....it took out a great combo, and more VE than I had to heal my creats.
  20. This is one of the purposes of the new dojo set up in Marble Dale Park, and also the Gates to Marind Bell. It is a place where you should be safe from attack, and because it is not a sanctuary you also have the freedom to set up a few rits. Why not come check it out?
  21. I think that runs a little counter to the point of adepts. In my opinion this is to form in game teaching/learning relationships, and to bring new players to the game. If one person could adept to so many the purpose would be missed I think.
  22. I want to thank everyone who has helped to make the dojo successful. Although it has only been running a day drive by attacks are decreasing rapidly, and I am proud to hear people talking about it in all areas of the map. I only want to emphasize that we have worked hard to choose a place that players of all alliance and mind level can congregate to practice in learning battles. It has been a pleasure to see that players of all mind levels have visited and used the dojo. I know that some people may remain skeptical, but I invite you to drop by and join in.
  23. WINNER 8% vs 49% *** Combat details (under construction). 'E' is defender, 'A' is attacker Your honor reward for this battle: 0 Your loyalty reward for this battle: 0 Enemy honor reward for this battle: 0 Enemy loyalty reward for this battle: 0 You were penalised with 1 loyalty for loosing this fight *** todo help after fight Casualties: Defender:48.90234%, Attacker:7.912457% heat A: 305 heat E: 1033 logsize:205 usevitality e (you):57 usevitality a:89 looser:E actionnr:36 rounds:2 E lost: 646vit; A lost: 76vit; I watched this fight as well for visual confirmation...I attacked this player and won....and still lost honor. I don't think this is an isolated incident, but this is the first battle log I have looked at. Is this a bug, or is it because I was not "Victorious"?
  24. I've always thought that Willow's crossing was a poor place to meet for battle. There is a major quest there that involves all the forces a new player can muster, and to be attacked there when attempting to defeat the gaurds is awful. The same thing has happened to me after I have collected full VE and healed all my creatures to fight the loreroot gaurds. I know that official game changes are difficult, and that players have met there a long time, but perhaps with word of mouth and the support of respected players....the battle ground could be moved one screen over to the left. This would not cause as much detriment to those attempting the gaurds, and would leave the way to the sanctuary safer. There is always the possibility (likelyhood) of being waylaid in the road, but I think there may be better places to gather for battle.
