  1. To quote, and agree with DST...in the way of the dojo post "During head contest we will consider that place a sanctuary and attack only when the opponent has more then 7 heads. The end." Players with less than 7 heads should not be considered attackable. Players with more than 7 heads should not consider themselves safe there.
  2. What's wrong with simply making Wodin an NPC? I assume the rit could still be changed occasionally. Let someone else lead the army, and let players bounce off the shiny gold Wodin statue.
  3. Hello and welcome! New faces all over tonight
  4. Is it possible for RPCs to get a new page for spells....they can put their requirements for gaining the spell there? Many are hard to catch, offline when I am, or already annoyed with persistent questions. It would be great to have a specific something to reference.
  5. Welcome gatecrasher! Nice to see a new face, ask here or in the game if you need anything.
  6. I do and don't agree with Ren. Yes, a charactar does include the personality, likes, and dislikes of the inhabitor. But what happens when a character who shapes this world logs off, abandons the game or stops doing their job? So Knator Commander stops hanging out and that story line just dies? We can't challenge, speak or interact anymore? At the point when you get a shiny golden figure stuck to the side of the road...it becomes a part of the game, not just your guy. If you don't keep up with it...let someone else have it. As to a Renevoid, if Ren quit, left, whatever...we would miss you. But you wouldn't leave a gaping hole in the map of the game. (Only a gaping hole in our hearts ). So no, in that case you are just gone. You can't reinhabit a Ren. There are certain positions, even RPCs in this game it would be necessary to replace if they left. I am mostly for it.
  7. hey there! I'm glad you speak English, I only know Aria. Nice to meet you and happy to see you found the forum.
  8. Michele, some folks participate some do not. The only way to really join in is to do it. It is roleplay, it is pretend...and some just don't like to play along. One of the best things to do, I think, is to develop your own character. Who is thisismuch? What does he want? Who would he join with, avoid, make fun of? What does he like, and what does he want to change. Players can make a difference here, but it takes a lot of "Play" before the reality sets in. Make yourself known and have fun. You will learn soon who plays and who does not. You will also learn to make your own fun, when you can.
  9. This is also the topic that requires the longest explanation. I second the motion!
  10. I have a different new idea for rituals...that may even work within the current system. Would it be possible to have a side check box or such to "add ritual to defense". One of my current challenges to myself isn't making an easy loss, but making a defense that is capable of being a winner most times, or that at the least may survive assault by other players. I think it's too bad that a ritual that is made, used, and found to be successful cannot then be switched to a defensive combo. Just a thought.
  11. I can only regret that both passed before I could meet the challenge. Beating Wodin had long been one of my personal goals.
  12. Hi and welcome, Vixion! (Conversely, meiche does the same and feels no guilt. Funny how that works, eh?)

If you let all the water in the tank evaporate, all you need to do is add more water for more seamonkies....even if you kill them all. It's the glory of the brine shrimp, their dried eggs will spring right back to life.
  16. Innuendo, you are quite right. There is little consequence "in dojo" for unprovoked attacks there. In fact a very small number of players have made it their business to do just what you mentioned: enter slashing and hacking on anyone who can be found. Since the founding of the dojo, we have gained great support from well-known players, RPCs, and even the heads of a few alliances. You might say now that there is great social pressure not to do such things in the dojo. Remember too, we are fighters...just respectful ones. Those who do not honor the rules of the dojo within its walls, have lately found themselves to be great targets without it. There is one place we ask you not indulge in fighting without permission, and several places where a violator's ass can be handed to them. As previously mentioned, the support of several powerful players has made enforcement of late an easier task.
  17. My second character did lose stats in the story...an mp4 with a grand total of 3 power...difficult hole to dig out of. I think perhaps the point in some of these imbalances is to encourage you to find another way, the next way. We all know that some things can be achieved by making the "right choices", but the detriments make you try another path as well.
  18. "No, you obnoxious little sprite who can't understand words." ...and that Glai is why I love you.
  19. Your scroll shows your player experience, the experience shown when you click your name to view stats takes into account negative experience and is much lower.
  20. Amorte, I love your third drawing best, it really shows emotion. This picture really tells a story...one that I would love to read.
  21. When looking at the details in my weapons and armor it says that I have 8/12 properties discovered. I have had most of it for some time. Is there some way to discover more? Does this mean that they also do other things not mentioned in basic stat description? Does someone know more about this?
  22. I think the ap is good...it makes you think twice before saccing and keeps players from getting way out of balance. I've been stuck at the press too with a ton of VP and no place to spend it.
  23. ummmm, hi. Guess this one isn't just for newbies anymore!
  24. welcome to the game and to the forum. Nice to have such an inquisitive one around here. Looking forward to knowing you more.
  25. Ninjunny- the reason I chose loyalty rather than honor is that there are so few alliance spots open at this time. Most players in the game have no oportunity to gain it and so are barred from some items in the shop. This would be a way for non-alliance members also to get some profit from loyalty (as well as those already allianced). I like the idea you gave also about the ticks increasing the rollover time to the next reward given. Perhaps a simpler way would be to give the player an addition .2% per month...so 1 stat for the first, 1.2 the second, 1.4 the third, etc.
