  1. Shard abilities can be recycled with no penalty, so they can be shifted from one creature to an other freely, or even transfered across accounts, as long as its not your own account you do that.
  2. You can not do group discussions with the in-game inbox at this time (maybe at some point in the future i will code such a feature). You can start however a private message on the forum, and add multiple participants to it. Like this you can open a discussion with the group of people you desire (and only them).
  3. some creatures (morph crits), can not be traded after they are evolved. You do get a chance to "devolve" them once a year, when morphs melt, and then you can trade snowballs, but not fully grown snowmans. Why?: Obviously, a snowman can not be moved, but a snowball can
  4. They are morph creatures. A creature that has one form when it is traded, and a variaty of possible evolution brances when it is upgraded. (please try not to post duplicate questions)
  5. Bounties are give out on certain dates and time period. Sadly i will not disclose the exact algorithm , but you may try to notice their behavior and discover when it happens (reverse engineer the formula) You can activate bounties in the background, without knowing, but they will show just one at a time, till you collect all. This means that you may be obtaining 100 bounties today because its md birthday, but they will show in your interface 100 days from now, if you collect just one per day. You may disable this feature from your settings.
  6. Once a year on a set date in summer, ALL the snowmans melt. The date was picked to be the birthday of the person that made the drawings for this creature *Akasha*. A melted snowman returns to snowball state... i know it should become water, but since its still a snowman, it must retain some information of what it once was. A snowball gives you the chance to trade and evolve the snowman into a different branch/version.
  7. The Erolin Device is nowdays the swarm of heat orbs on the left of the interface. It used to be a good looking device one day, in the top right corner of the interface, but now it got a more permissive shape. The heat orbs can store the heat you generate when walking or fighting or doing other things. This heat can be reactivated by clicking a glowing orb, and it becomes again active heat that drops one point per second and can be used to cast spells (for example). You can get more heat slots in the shop or on christmas tree, or other rewards. One heat slot can store only a fixed amount of heat, not more not less. If you don't have enough heat to load it, it will not load. To store your heat in the Erolin Device, click the small "store" bubble on the left. it will make a mechanical sound
  8. The first day does not start in some day in april, it starts on 1st january each year. On 14 April , its the game's birthday, and the year the game celebrates that year, defines the year This might be a bit confusing, but for now thats how it always was. For example today is day 128 (counting 128 from the beginning of the year), and year 16, counting how many times it passed the date of 14 April (years). ST means server time. Because everyone is on different timezone, its not relevant what day is for each one, so we use server time to define time of events and such. Puuuuureeellyy by coincidence does it happen that server time is Romania, GMT+2 , same like mine, just a coincidence, yeah...:))
  9. You can write a short paragraph of text on the mood panel, that will stay there until other entries push it down, or you change it. You can have only one entry at a time, the moodpanel is not a dialogue. You can see how long you have to wait till you can edit your entry again, when you try to edit it.
  10. In addition to Mag's answer: there is also a wish in the wishshop that can help you with that.
  11. Post on the mood panel, someone might answer your cry and drag you from there. Also during events, public links are posted in the triggers box, that allow you to jump from wherever you are.
  12. Resources are stored in stacks. When you use resources you can only use an entire stack at a time. You can split stacks with options found in the shop, but the ideal way to deal with this is to collect just what you need at one time, then spend it when you need. Hoarding resources is not discouraged, its just sabotaged. You will still find things to do with piles of resources bigger than what you could possibly need, but best you could do is try to split them, or not hoard so much in the first place.
  13. I heard the Grasan can be named certain ways and depending on that it will produce different things. (sorry this does not answer your question directly as it would be too much of a spoiler, but just confirms its so) Ps: Pls dont post the names, just tell where to find them.
  14. A veteran will always have a lot more perks, bells and whistles on his account. Maybe medals, or part of an ally, or gold avatar, or best of all, a custom tag. Active days is certainly an indicator, but after the initial 100 days, the difference is not just days, unless we talk about really old players with thousands of days.
  15. I am not a grinder myself, so its hard for me to say what others would grind, but just to answer your question: - gather resources (be careful not to deplete them, and understand how depletion works first) - get fights for your creatures so you can sacrifice them for better stats (be careful not to unbalance your profile too much or you will lose access to altars and more) (others are welcome to answer more and flag different answer as the right one)
  16. Plan the use of such a booster before you enable it. Like this you will know exactly what to do with the boost. It could be used for fighting, in events, or traveling,...you will know when you will need it.
  17. Magic in MD realm comes in various forms and meanings. Inner Circle is when you turn roleplay and reasoning (especially research based on clues and provable info), into something real. This sort of magic is highly dependent on a higher power to become real, so its not something you can just do within the interface, but its something that may happen, provided you have the right reasoning for it, the involved items and the right higher power (a25 members, me, chew) becomes interested in your 'cause'. I wish to say this here and clear, i am ignoring or denying direct requests made to me. If something of interests comes to my attention other ways than you asking, then maybe i get involved and turn inner magic into reality. Outer magic, this you can do. There are spells you can obtain in wishshop or using magic stones, that you can cast by writing their trigger words in chat (words you define yourself). This magic happens instantly and is in your power to do as soon as you discover it. Illusions are a different part of the MD experience, In some places, your character can enter an illusion and whatever it does during that illusion is not kept after you exit the illusion. During an illusion you can have totally different creatures, or skills, and you may look entirely different. Illusions mode was created years ago, but only recently did it receive the required attention to become more public. I guess its safe to say that at the moment of writing this, the fastest and probably only way to see how illusions are, is to ask to test them. Otherwise, wait for it to be announced. Once illusions become an integrated part of the gameplay, it will be announced, and more questions and answers will be available regarding this subject.
  18. For CTC: On the creatures page, on top, there is s small link that takes you to the creature transfer page. There you can transfer creatures, if the code is correct. Checking if a code is valid without also transfering that creature is not possible right now. For ITC: click the inventory icon on the bottom bar (the chest icon), it will open details in the sidebar. There, on top, you have "Use ITC" link, where you can redeem a ITC code. To do so , you must be in a location that allows item transfers, as not all scenes allow that.
  19. Some locations have research clues. These are basically pieces of interesting information that completes your view of MD and not only. Better understanding the mechanics and secrets of this world will help you in many indirect ways, but none direct. A good reasoning, one based on information and not rumors, combined with suitable items and a well established role, can help you make your own reality in this realm. People have closed lands, become kings and changed the way MD works forever, by using such knowledge. Research clues are a piece of a puzzle, but the outcome of the puzzle is define only by you.
  20. Look over the combat log tabs, see what major influences did happen, for example freeze is a very powerful one. By just looking at the outcome of a battle you can tell what sort of ritual effects you might be facing. Ctrl+F the ID or name of a creature and see what happened to it and when or why it died.
  21. Other RP items can be combined into other usable items, or collected, or help you whenever a role related decision is pending. For example if you wish to build yourself a pub, getting related items that could be used in a pub, makes the big difference compared to someone that just sais he has a pub somewhere, and you will receive official support in roles and events you can organize. Items are a warmup for this things you wish to achieve in this realm.
  22. some items of a set are hidden in secret shops
  23. While there are 'ways' to get your custom item done, aim for using existing items. Custom items are given to made, and to receive one, your role must fit the request, and you should already be able to use other exsiting items for same purpose. Don't get me wrong, i am creating custom items constantly, and some (not all) A25 members have this ability and use it too, just that the reasons why such an item gets created must not be simply your request. To create a custom item, i need to see and understand its purpose, and most of all i need to decide that working on a custom item is worth more than doing any other coding in the realm that could benefit others. Under certain circumstances, you can ease this process and have a higher chance. The "ingredients" that could make me create a custom item easier are (ALL OF THE BELOW MUST HAPPEN): - If the item description of existing items you have allows for such a thing. For example you have a bottle, and alcohol, and chairs, i could make you a portable bar stand (just a random example). - you know exactly what is possible to do with existing item abilities, and try to fit your item in one of these. Obviously if i need to code more i will avoid it, so if you ask for something that is not possible yet, is more unlikely to happen than if you ask for a functionality that is already coded. - you built a role that obviously had something to do with whatever the item is about. I am not creating custom items for new roles. - you are willing to spend all your wishpoints for it (cost in wishpoints, variable, was for a while a method to do custom items, and i am still willing to consider it) - the custom item you create must not create unbalance in the realm or hurt others. The more it affects only you, the higher the chance to ever get it. Basically you can't, deal with it... but sometimes you will, read above.
  24. Try to understand what parts of your MD activity you no longer enjoy to do but you are still doing, and start by changing that. Set yourself only fixed hours and time intervals you wish to be around, and whatever happens simply don't come here outside those intervals. If you wish to quit entirely, close up lose ends, decide what people you still want to be in contact with and keep a different communication channel with them (like facebook, discord, email). I knew many people that at some point decided to leave, but a year or two later decided they want to return, so my advice is to GRACEFULLY leave and don't do a mess behind you.
