First neutral land that will get a leader will be tribunal, but don't hurry on that, i prepared a surprise. Having a leader means to have a voice as a land and influence both your land and other lands. For now i don't want other than the 4 main lands to have a direct influence but only an indirect one. Neutrality is not the right word to use, because they are not neutral, but its an other word i cant find (suggestions?) A land is defined by several factors: - it must be independent from other lands regarding creatures supply, altar, sanctuary, land weapon, leadership. - has a background identity, like a main characteristic or tale, one that influences other lands. In other words to be a land it has to be part of the "land balance" - It has to have a decent surface - It must have a borderline and an entrance that can be considered a gate from a graphical point of view. - It should have a main vulnerability (all lands have, but i think most are not discovered yet) these are some guidelines of what i consider to be a land at time of developing.

of course it will lead to issues .. but this time the king will stop them, by force or nicely. It is time for the lands to have a stronger attitude and be actualy LANDS. wars and riots will be always, with or without a king, but a king, brings more personality to the lands and the events related to them. With one king, power will be abused only from one official point, if you can say that, instead of many.

There are matters that need a decision reached and not a neutral one. I can not afford not to be neutral towards the lands, so i can't decide on these matters. So, if not a king, who should take these subjective decisions that add to the land "profile"? A king should care about his land only and sometimes what is good for the entire realm is not good for a particular land. I can take those decisions that regard the realm while a king would take the decisions that concern his land and by that give identity to the land. Lands without leadership have little authority because they are splitted by internal riots and don't have a central pillar. In case an other form of rulership is required, then it should be submited as an option with the consent of all those involved. For example a council ruled land, it should present the council members and the technical way in which they will conclude on decisions, majority vote, random, unanimity vote, etc.

Only those that want. You cant force anyone into being a king. ..but of course you can tell that person you would vote if they participate.

After the Yrthilian voting I have been thinking a lot about the issue with the lands and their kings in the realm. A king should have _power_, but should also earn his reputation and respect. Respect should not be granted by default. A king that can't get his poeple to respect him is not a king afterall, but power should be granted. Of course power and respect are directly related, you will respect more someone that could kill you by pointing a finger. Based on recent events, i consider Kings could be "banished" by first taking over the main alliance of their land and then instigating their people to vote against them. The word banished is better than demoted, because kingship should not be considered a job or promotion but an absolute position. The powers of such a ruler should be absolute over the people of his land. Therefor i will implement a citizenship system and players will be marked as beinng part of a land or an other, obeying the rules of that land and accepting the king, or queen, as the one person (except me ) to have decision power over their destiny. The king will be able to change tags of his people, but for now these tags should be first discussed with me and i will check and aprove if they are indeed deserved. I dont want a tag inflation or tags to lose their importance, but i also don't want tags to be forgotten or ignored just because some got them and most didn't, like its now. The king can directly decide regarding things that concern the land, such as land weapon, character belonging to that land, direction the land will go in diplomatic situations with other lands, etc. Regarding characters, the current realm situation is like this: - Wodin belongs to GG land. It can be summoned by the aliance leader of the land, or by its king if these two are not one and the same. - Shade Sentinel does not belong to its people but the people belong to it. However, the Sentinel does not have direct decision power over the people and Necrovians have their free will. A HUMAN king will be elected soon. While humans and shades are in good relations within Necrovion, the Sentinel will most likely not cross the words of the king. - The summoned army has no identity, it will act as an animal with no regard of king or diplomacy. - Knator Commander, even if no longer holding an official position within Loreroot, its a Lorerootian creature and in matters that involve the benefit of the land , he obeys only the king. Being a retired general, he can refuse to join army, but he can never turn weapons against Loreroot. - The character that will be assigned to Marind Bell in the future, will have similar rules as the Shade Sentinel. The Angiens and the people of Marind Bell are occupying the land same as submarines and fishes occupy the ocean. Humans can not decide over the Angiens, and angiens will never decide over the wishes of humans as long as they live in good relations together. In case of need, Angiens as well as Shades, will be always at the side of their land and never against it. being at the side of the land does not always mean being at the side of its leadership, it means protecting its interests. The order of power in the realm is this: - Muratus del Mur (Me) - People Votes - Kings - Administrative structures and councils Untill other changes in the realm, i consider this to be the political base structure. It can be adapted to each land by using the power of vote, confirmed by me. Note that the power of vote is above Kings. Votes can banish kings, but i won't hold kingship elections to often i can assure you of that. As I said above, you need first to takeover the land before claiming to be its king. Elections to establish Kings for each land will start now, i will be organizing them one by one and keep you informed on the main newslog and here on the forum. Each land will require a slightly different political structure. It is the duty and right of the king to keep or not to keep this political structure. If he wants to rule by a council, or be a dictator, the king decides, of course with the risk of starting a riot. For the elections candidates will be required to present their political plan for people to see before they vote. Last note: Because MD is not a democracy by default, i will not accept in king position any person that i do not feel confortable with, or that i can not communicate easily to. I will not replace kings and i will respect their decisions always, but I WILL in case i consider needed, initiate new elections (without taking over their land) if i consider such elections are needed and there is no one able to initiate them.

by short i mean keep a short list of arguments, but don't cut out important arguments just to keep it short for example long means to talk about same argument a lot, without bringing anything new, like some did , wrote a lot and received low score, and short means to keep a clear list of arguments with enough description to be understood clearly. Assuming i was willing to give a 10, it could have been reached by writing 10-20 lines of arguments, clearly describing them. Voting on the forum and then NOT voting on the new system is not an excuse, you could have copy pasted your arguments there. It was clearly announced that was the official way to decide the result, not the forum. An alt verification system was added now , after this voting. I missed that aspect initialy, but next time it will be checked better. A check for teritory will be also improved for future votes that are influenced by land affiliation. In this regard i am thinking of a citizenship flag for players to be implemented soon.

You can't expect such a trial to be judged bsed ONLY on the resons you raise. If most pointed out that as an argument its clear it was something to consider , regardless if you say it shouldnt be considered. Otherwise ppl would have not mentioned it, don't you think?

The more subtle scroll, the transparent layer, had it even worse..it was turned into 20 pieces. The one who found it, Shadowseeker, decided to lock it into a chest, and opening it later on Day 280, 20:00 servertime. Then, the pieces shall be distributed. A hunt for them, to puzzle them together, and to find the reward was given. Because that is the only thing known, that it is something which could grant a reward. You shall get links for the pieces, use them, instead of downloading and uploading somewhere else. Please keep logs of how you acquired your pieces though. The transparent is the key to the weird scroll..you need 3 things at once, and a screenshot of the puzzle to prove it. You don't need all pieces, only the 3 things and the screenshot..but careful, if it is wrong that was it for you. [b]Hint:[/b] Since the pieces have no number on it, you may want to describe the shape in order to ensure it's piece you have or do not have. If by Day 310 nobody has gotten it, slowly but surely pieces of the complete thing will appear, so better hurry up. [b]Rewards:[/b] [granted by Mur with custom law decree below] Empty Aramors are lost carcasses of warriors passed long time ago. Similar to shades in a small way, they do not have an own identity. After experiments conducted deep inside Golemus Labs, such an Aramor was energeneticaly manipulated (wow a new word ) to be inhabited by an other soul. Because there are no laws to state yet the legal status of these creatures, and its not even sure if they are creatures or not, The creatures on this account can be freely pillaged. The account login will be given to the Organizer of the contest, creatures on it, and account access itself, are the rewards of the contest. Shadowseeker is free to keep what he thinks as his personal reward for organizing the contest. The exact creature list will be made public later, but yes it includes drachorns. might be a bit offtopic and better in a separate topic, but still, i want to post this question: What do you think about the fairness of the new voting system. I plan to use it , with similar but not allways identical rules, for diciding other major issues about the realm. I am waiting for a honest reply from both sides please. Note: i didnt judged the arguments themselves but judged if the vote was well argumented or not, as ai said, BUT in a few cases the arguments where PRO while the vote was negative, or the opposite, in such cases i gave a low rating because you cant claim reasons for an opposite vote than the one you are giving. Also i judged some of the arguments that sounded realy undocumented or wrong, some of you , a few did that. Anyway, i did my best not to influence the results with my personal opinion , i ddint voted, but i want to hear from you if i succeeded or not to do a fair trial.

Here are the FULL records of the votes. I removed colums that are irrelevant such as ip, ids and also the player details of those voting to keep them anonymous. Those that signed yourself in the argument itself, bad luck (i think i removed your signatures anyway). citizen is the Land, vote is -1 for against, 1 for in favor, votepower is a mark from 1 to 10 for how founded the argument was (i was not judging your arguments , just judging if you had one or not), reputation is the reputation of the player given on a subjective based on how popular I consider you to be (from 0 to 2) and extrafactor is calculated based on your land affiliation. I didnt give any 10 mark on purpose because i am not fully decided yet what a 10 should be given for. One of the posts there deserved a 10 however. [attachment=1183:Yrth voteing.html]

bottom line is that such a guild as the Artisans was there with a purpose. If that purpose could not me fulfilled, the guild had no reason to exist. What the reasons are, if people were unable to send art to an email and posted it on forum for all to see, or if you Glor had no time to check, or whatever reasons, with or without reason, the guid was not functioning. I myself don't have time, but you as a GUILD were supposed to do everything possible to keep it running. Several people could have done this time taking work to check forums and contact players with such skills, i was not asking just one of you to do that, but more as a team. Now its over. An other thing, for ALL artists reading this. When you copy a character, do you have to copy it in the exact same positio as you find an image on the net? Are you not capable or creative enough to change something about it, or is it so much easyer to be a human scaner? From now on i will not accept art that represents known characters anyway.

The point of the competition was not to torture you with trying combinations. Please send me your codes when you think you have ALL of them, and i will tell you if one is wrong or give you the right sequence if you have them all right. Please don't forget i want a log of how you aquired the codes, trade, threat, promises, lies, anything, its just for my personal curiosity.

I don't think having ALL comtest questions public is a good idea .. what if someone will prepare all the answers and use copy paste during the competition. Its not that hard to answer any question of you have enough time.

Ok, i just received an other info of an existing (already uploaded) avy being an exact match with an other picture from the web. I am so so sorry that i have to work sometimes with this kind of (crap) artists. Unfortunately i can't check all the drawings for avies myself. Now I am even more angry on the "artisans guild". I assure you that from now on i will pay much more attention to all suspect drawings and not allow representations of known characters anymore, regardless if they are copied or not. Unfortunatly its hard to check who sent it long ago, but i know it was sent throug the guild. And FUNNY thing is that the same former members of the guild, you know who, accuse me of using stolen art.

You didn not stole art (meaning to get other drawings and submit them directly) , but you copied it. Its similar but at least you tried, and still not acceptable. And come on, you copied a LOGO of a company...that didn't seem bad for you?

posting sketches or pics to your submission will increase its chances of winning greatly ... everybody likes pictures

The proof for the stolen art is there. By stolen i mean identicaly copied. It took me 15min to find out it was copied, then i saw it on the forum allready discussed. I rejected the avyes from Glor, explaining this issue, yet Popitz keeps his seat. After that, today, it took me a couple of hours (while doing other things) to discover some awsome artists that submited their work month ago and none received answer. I contacted them, they submited it again to me, and there are allready several avys ready. ...while Glor told me in the past many month that there is no one capable , and nothing new or interesting appears. Actualy, he was probalby just writing from time to time, claiming there is no new artists just because he had no time to check. He has an excuse, he has personal problems and i understand that, but amoran that takes so much pride for the artisans management, has NO excuse, because all this time she was in MD (causing trouble) and did not do anything close to manage the artisans or even look at possible new artists. Artisans moved as a guiled only recently when i threatened all 2 member allies that i will disband them if they remain in just two members, but this situation looks to me to be over many month old, because for many month i have seen only work from glor, or crap work from others selected by glor, and none of the art i saw now on forum and that i believe its great. Anyway, contact with Glume is allready established, she will send additional work soon, the others were also contacted, but unfortunalty some allready left MD. You can see what i am talking about you can check out the topics in the artisans guild, its a 19 pages topic. All this time the artisans was an exclusive guild for amoran self pride, under the protection of Glor, and i never inteded such a thing. Artisans as a guild was supposed to centralise work of all kind, it was unable to, i am sory but i disband it. I worked so long time with artists directly, i can do that from now on too. Not to mention that only a small fraction of art comes from players and all the rest from artists i hire here. If its not possible , its not possible.

I don't know much about its current status, maybe one of the participants can tell us more @ Shadowseeker: OMG, your contest idea looks sooo similar, but honestly i didnt had it in mind when thinking about this contest. You can still hold yours, you use a map, that makes things actualy better because they are more predictable and someone could find the treasure without having ALL pieces, while in my version with the codes you need to have all codes or you fail. Actualy if you manage to organize such a contest with an actualy DRAWN map, it would be awsome and i would be glad to announce it. p.s. how was that saying with great minds...u told me:P

My email allready has 3 mails form artists that submited awsome work to glor and i NEVER saw it submited to me. The ones Glor submited from popithz IS COPIED WORK, it took me 15min to discover most of them allready on the net made by others, one of them is actually a LOGO of a big company. Amoran, you live in a parallel reality, not MD not RL .... i don't know where it is, but i am sick of it. You remained in Artisans because Glor had trust in you MANAGING things there, but what did you managed when Artisans guild was so ignorant to player artworks and all i got from the artisans were your sweats of "hard work" that consisted of same artworks over and over, and Glor (awesome) artworks. A guild is not for one man show (Glor) and a crying B**** that tries to do everything possible to look like a victim even if its not about her anymore. Bottom line, i had no intention of any revenge against you during this Festival, i wanted to ignore you because you will act for sure as a victim and that "all was planed" and shit like that, but you crossed the line again.
