Each quest maker can do his own quest and decide how to give his rewards, or decide whom not to let to participate. This sort of permission is thought to support questers in trusting their own judgement and not be afraid of reactions or complains.(side note: However this kind of rule is not to allow quest makers to abuse and trade or transfer rewards under false pretext of a quest.) Because your quest involves later implications of what people will consider as necrovion core concepts, i can not allow you to risk spreading possibly false information. I don't mean you have a false view on these concepts, i mean i have no clue what your view is at all. Therefore you are entitled to limit your participants as you wish but i can not allow you to decide in a public way what necrovion core concepts are without a backup check by me or jester (representing necrovion official) Your options are (one of the following): - discuss your opinion with jester before naming a winner, to be sure that the selected view on necrovion concepts is not containing false information - discuss your final options with me , i wont have time to check all of them, but i can tell you if what you selected is right or wrong - discuss with me or jester your view on nc concepts so your view is accurate. - rename quest to be about what YOUR view is, disclaiming from rewarding a generaly correct opinion.

I posted a topic about new shop/tombola idea. With that one i can better organize such events, but on random events only i can manage i can't do better than dragging it over six hours to wait for everybody. I am sorry this is obviously unfair for those on different timezones. This was not normal hour even for my timezone, i tried to shift it as much as possible, but there are some hours i will never be online.

Thank you for your opinions, this is my current prefered variant, keep telling what you think. - List with "100" hidden items. This list will fluctuate based on how i add prizes to it and number of buyers. Sometimes it can be that the list is almost empty, other times to have 200 items, etc. Over half of the items will be overpowered in current sense. The features provided will however become common in the future through this shop/tombola or ingame abilities (like magic ctc) - spent and unspent credits will count in 100$ increments as a ticket to pick something from the list. The list being hidden, it means people wont always get what they wished for. It also means people will see what the shop had before but not what it has now, allowing some suspanse. Or 200$ ?? - wishpoints will count as 40$ spent credits. Or 10$ ..Or 20$? both spent and unspent count the same - list with numbers and players will be always public but only once a month it will be revealed to show winnings. event at goe or automated, depends on month mood and time. - no limit of choices one could select per list. This is important for old players that currently have lots of credits and wp. It means a 100 items list will run out very fast. - In future, tickets to this thing will be tradeable items so they can be awarded and traded. did i missed something?

You considered the obvious implications of bringing religious current in a place governed by a crazy demon / ex god / tyran ruler / maniak about symbolic meanings / also in a land that is so remote? people alone will have a problem wondering alone, citizens will have to chose if to follow a doctrine with symbols in respect of that land, something balancing in a way gg non-preaching research way but with lr religious devotament and mb secrecy of some sorts, this will be weird at least (for both of us) As an ex md ruler, i want to say i would normally not interfere with player actions, as a Tribunal Demon i want to say you will find out on your own and that all of you need to remember the things i said in the dominion announcements. You do not yet know my reactions to prayers and rituals, directed at me as my new form or against or independent. I will be myself, in a very honest way but without limitations of "md official". I might clean your head off and hang you on the gates as warning for others, I might drain you of your prayers to restore my powers, i might do other things i cant know now. My form is new, I have a long way ahead... but are you sure you consider the implications of your actions in front of a demon?

I need some people that are very active on the forums. They will have first of all to become citizens of Tribunal Lands and that means i will have to see them as such. Thats why i will pick from those offering their service here in a very subjective and unrevealed way. These people can join any of the existing alliances that receives them, if they receive them in their ranks. If they don't want to or can't, i can give them citizenship or even create a separate alliance for them (if i find enough) Your task would be to manage my wealth. I am some times giving rewards on forums, or in game, not only to tribunal citizens but maybe sometimes to people you argue or disagree with. Or sometimes to quests you didn't got rewarded. I need you to be able to give the awards in my place and not let personal interests interfere with that. It will also require you to hunt down all my posts on forum, mood panel and announcements, so you will find the people that need to be rewarded as fast as possible and assign them the reward i named with highest priority. Your advantages are obvious. you get a very interesting reputation a tag related to this role, if you don't have an other already, and you will share some of the surplus rewards on a regular basis. I might even happen that i have things from time to time that you will have to auction on the forum and exchange to a lower range of more prizes so you will have "change". My rewards are usualy only big, i don't bother to handle the small ones, but i oftenly need those. Post playername, active days, current citizenship and current tag if any, and a short description of why i should pick you from all the rest. CITIZENS OF OTHER LANDS READ THIS: If you are selected, i will require a note from your king saying you are allowed to abandone your land for this one. WIthout an aproval from your current king i wont accept you. If you run away from your land for this, kings have at most a week to notify me and i WILL kick you out for it. I am thinking to make tombola somehow permanent event. There are however some things i don't like and prevent me from doing so. Other things i like very much and make me search for an option. I dont like: - too much random picking - too much dissapointment if you are unlucky. if you keep spending and you dont win anything month after month you will be very upset - creates the feeling md is only for those thay pay - people will pay just when tombola runs so they get tickets, otherwise why to miss it when credits can wait anyway. I like: - its a way to reward those that support md financially the most with things i cant put in shop - gives a reason to purchase credits even if otherwise you wouldn have on what to spend them anymore - it is a social event and an opportunity for a small monthly party - boosts md income and maybe we can put some advertising again, not just "survive" from month to month like now Suggestions: Option 1: - permanent second level shop. This shop would have public list of items that are with limited stoc and not always the same. From time to time i will add things to it, while others get bought. It wont be nested like the normal shop, but things in it will variate in value a lot. Drachs, full tokend creatures, magic ctc options, all sorts of things from actual transferable md things (items, creatures, etc) to custom services like gold avy and creature modifications. The price would be calculated in one of these two ways (one or the other, let me know what you think best): Variant 1) every 200credits you have, spent or unspent, regardless when, means one ticket to this shop to pick any item you want Variant 2) a ticket would cost 100 credits, taken from unspent credits (and placed to spent) Using credits for this will allow purchasing of credits regardless if shop runs or not, and will also allow subscription 50% bonus to count more in such cases. A lot of players already have lots of unspent credits just because they buy them to sustain MD, not because they need them, and that needs to be rewarded somehow. Option 2: - a montly list with hidden rewards. a list with as many numbers than the numbers of paying people. Each person to purchase anything from the shop of a minimum of 20$ that month, can pick one number from the list (just one). The majority of the rewards will be smaller but everyone buying at least 20$ worth of credits will get a reward from that list. Some rewards will be very high, like tombola. There wont be an actual credits cost, its about if you purchased credits or not. Option 3: - a monthly list with hidden rewards like above, but a choice on that list would cost 20credits. You could buy as many numbers as you wish and at the end of the month the rewards associated to each number will be revealed. Note: the more automated this thing goes the less powerfull the maximum rewards will be. Option 1 - most crazy rewards but very very few Option 2 - moderate with some special things, a moderate number of players Option 3 - above shop level but not shockingly special things because players with most money could buy too many and i dont want that, i want a more even distribution. At least thats i assume the distribution levels will be. This is not a poll, the number of buyers is inferior to those playing free, so its not fair to count number of votes. I am interested in reasons why one or the other. please be short or i wont read all of it (sorry). I am interested to know if you are a regular buyer just in case your opinion is based on that. If you analyze it from a general perspective i dont care, and i prefer not to. Analyze all parts, the values unbalance one, the moral one, the "md is for smart not for rich" part, the fact that people keeping md alive the most need to be rewarded differently than the regular shop but also the fact that without enough users i am forced to put a way up to raise more funds. This winter we will survive thanks to the tombola and the upcomming chrismas limited edition items, but in the next period it will be very hard. Now more than ever because the purchases now covered what we needed and people made their reserve of credits so they won't need to buy anything for a while... Analyze whatever other balance or moral issue you see that i don't see. There is an other option i have but i don't like it, to increase shop stock three times so that everything in shop will get deeper and eventually require more credits to reach... or to change prices to 2$.....I DONT LIKE THAT, but its an option if none of the above are good enough. This is not a question if i should, nor a vote on how i should do a shop change. It is a honest debate with you , all the players, paying and non-paying, about how to do MD financial politics in the upcoming future so that all three parts are happy about it. By three parts i mean "MD" as a business that needs to sustain itself and also expand, the paying players, and the non-paying players. Do not ignore non-paying players in your analysis. Its there where some of the most brilliant md minds come from, they need to have same chances somehow. I dont mean fights, i mean collecting things and gaining reputation so they raise up on the reputation level. That is _VERY_ important.

i confirm its a magic ctc, but only if it reaches right price , and because its a unusual creature. (i dont say "rare" because i dont know if it will remain rare or if it will be released) i will think of a more general rule to allow trades is special cases in similar way @iab - this is not a permanent service, its a one time favor @others - dont flood me with requests, i wont reply unless its some sort of unique situation

Rhaeger... my answer is "Slavery gets shit done" but that lacks freedom if you add freedom it will be a form of politics i dont recognize to be used. It happens with small groups where people actually work together and achieve a lot more than if they traded their eyes out for a little more aparent profit. Either its done by force and that is called slavery or its done by own will if a purpose provided. I achieved that once in md, still do at some levels (council for example) but what is notable is my mistake back then. I put a price on their head, valued them in monetary terms by offering something as a reward. This was fundamentally wrong. Either is it no monetary illusion either is capitalism, pretending its mixed is a big lie i myself ommit to see at that time. I dont see the world to move to that form of government, ...idk..maybe just after a world cataclism, but otherwise we are too well used to value our life in money and buy our way to freedom...instead of simply getting it..freedom should be free, yet it is now the most expensive thing man put a price on. Think again why things are expensive...rarity...what means that related to what i just said above? we are slaves. the part that intrigues me and makes me admire its beauty is when you combine slavery with freedom.. its called millitary. citizenship requirements will fit the general guidelines of a neutral land. the only part that will not act neutral is me, but if there is anything more than that the 4-fold balance will crash badly. speaking of existing alliances. i shall appoint them new ranks..titles i mean. but for that i have to talk to each of you. i wont allow this land to start with uncertain forces, so basically either you have your loyalty with me or you are gone. Its not personal, its conceptual, so i can arrange citizenship keeping, rebel status, i wont retaliate outside the land, etc, whatever, just trust me you don't want to play tough with me when i dont have time for it. Right now my role is strange. It will eventually settle to what you sensed from the first time tribunals should be like, but untill then it will be storm. Over time i will be what i declared, a demon, less involved with human leadership and such, but more greedy over "my" land. remember this is not a fifth land, it s a strange combination. it might be something like gg experimental tendency with necrovion dark knowledge and marind bell sanctity, all surrounded by the magnetism of loreroot, so clearly manifested by the "mur effect". Thinking of this now it kind of scares me. Four fold balance is only complete whith a fifth untouchable point,..i even said that in clear several times...yet somehow i failed to make the connection with my "dark" intentions of taking over a land in md as my own... freaks me out when i get part of the event strings and not hold them myself if i could only share with you the further "coincidences" leading to the current situation.. take my one word description of it: "WOW"

Soldiers of The Inner Sun - should go to tribunal and will never have any official status again. updates about their story and symbols later. I need to prepare this well. Also my mirror item, with its symbols and meaning for md in general, is to be considered now part of the treasures the tribunal guards. its secrets also , will be told later, or embeded in the land clues. I already have a place for it in the land art. My official denomination/status, together with all its symbolic meaning and later implications is: Governing Demon for refering hierarchy and authority in md in general that is just a flavored way of saying demi-god. I am basically unlimited in power yet accusable by council if needed. I am not human so my role as a king is virtualy inexistant, but i am a GOVERNING power. The word demon was chosen to underline the darker nature of it. It also relates to the position of the land and its balance connection with Necrovion. The apparent conflict of concepts between Shade Sentinel and a Mur Demon should be clarified, in case its not clear. Shade Sentinel doesn't have a name. Mur in essence is also a nameless name, as i revealed in Whats a Mur topic. Shade belongs to that land as a RESULT of that land. It is a cummulation of shades basically, given a unified reference name, Sentinel. SS is immune as it has same "level" as the land itself. Mur on the other hand is an independent entity, with personality. something else... i could talk hours about this so i should stop here For now digest this info. if i decide against it after 4 month, the tribunal will revert to its previous political form, meaning no ruler, with the scars i will leave behind. I guess its safe to assume that after ordering a custom land just for myself and planning it for years, i wont enjoy it just 4 month. The time limit is a sanity check. I might be needed in an official unbiased capacity to lead md back on track, so i leave myself an escape path. Anyhow, history will not be erased, things NEVER turn back as if nothing happend, and it wont happen anyway. As part of a total independent quest , Knator Commander was granted by me in my former capacity as a god of md, the permission to close down tribunal. In exchange, he was supposed to clear it of people enough time that i could build my own things. I want to explain this connection between two characters of mine because nobody else can and knaty never uses forum. Sorry its a spoiler. The purpose of both characters connected for a short while. Mur unlocked the path to ... what is still a secret place in tribunal.. but knaty did not finish its mission yet because he is lazy, eats a lot, and sleeps in the GG lab like a pig he is. Knaty's quest goes on, slow as always (last one took over a year) and his service required in exchange for the closing of the lands is complete. However, the new Mur did not kept the land closed longer, so Knaty;s quest might get affected by this. Just wanted to clear what might be the reasons for my dominion over TB to be related to Knaty closing of the lands.

comming from a person that has no reaction to sleeping pills..i can say that i would gladly trade the way i go to sleep for the way i wake up. Dropdead when exhausted should become stand up instantly when enough sleep, and wake up over 3 hours should become feel sleepy 3 hours untill i cant remember when i fall asleep. Only thing to make me go to bed is to know i need to do something boooring, and child stories do the rest. but lately not even that works anymore. There are certain hours that i feel sleepy and i could fall asleep then right away , but they fit badly in the day (6pm for example). The only thing to make me wake up fresh is christmas day and my birthday when i know presents are there waiting to be opened. Oh , or when i make something cool in md and i wait for the next day to read reactions If you find a solution to that, share it with me. Last thing i tried were sleeping drugs for the mentally insane, and they are _no_fun_ My answer is not an answer but a whining of my own problems, i hope you excuse that, but you made me think of it and i wish i was a kid again, sleeping anywhere and waking up fully charged. those times are gone.

want my point of view?... in over ten years of working in the website developing business i never had a hotmail, msn, facebook and other such popular accounts. I open twitter recently but its kind of deserted now, and i made a facebook account that scares the hell out of me with all those people and pictures and messages and CHAT ...as if my time was not full already. Funniest thing, i get an invitation to MagicDuel facebook (or friend add or something like that) ...i was like ..wtf..*blink*..magicduel facebook...with md logo..with screenshot...i was almost afraid to look deeper maybe owner name was Mur *blink* I am deprecated when it comes to social media and such things Yes i can get the account back, as i did with twitter, but i am lacking initiative on this because i know i wont have time to run it. I know for some of you facebook is like a definitory part of your life anc character, and you might be shocked i don't know by now what a "WALL" is ..irony side note: first text on that page reads: "This stuff is amazing! careful with the words i said nothing has actual value, not that nothing has importance by value i mean monetary value a lot of things have importance, by their nature (like life) or by their usability (a glass of water in the desert, or a tool, have importance beyond monetary value) but i stick to my initial affirmation, nothing has its own monetary value. a diamond could be priceless in a place, for free in an other. Importance or usability however, carries its "worth" with it regardless of assigned monetary value

appology accepted @Marvolo For that kind of arhitecture yes, but for architects that build small worlds, beauty is mandatory and it has to be on paper as well as in practice. MD would not be of any good without its art and just its thoughts and plans...nor would be of any good if it had beautifull shape but crap concepts behind.

this needs probably a larger amount of secondary prizes rather than one big one, but hey, you could convert it by selling or whatever if you really need it different - one drach considerable age i guess - two gold just -...and an other drach thats my donation for now, in private capacity, not official.

The only reason i don't wipe md lands with your corpse in an epic show of force , is that i don't want to create the false impression that i am not open to criticism. I embrace negative comments as a challange to prove my point better or to learn something from them. Many have disagreed to me or even fighted with me, however they had the required decency, and I don't tolerate someone to be rude just because he is against me. The world needs such people like you, otherwise if we were all philosophers we would starve while admiring the process from a theoretical point of view. Imagine everybody realising money is an empty joke, or that the 4000$ ring they worked for could be very well 4$. Maybe recession will open or permanently close some minds. Someone needs to be the slave in this ecosystem, to sustain us the thinkers. So, Roland, you are indeed a very useful specimen.
