My slave doesn't do as told, the leash can't drag her. Nimrodel's Leash (ID: 56646) doesn't drag nimrodel, instead gives the error message that there is no player with that name. I suspect that it's trying to drag Nimrodel, but the slave i want to drag would be *Nimrodel*.

it's not that you can't participate if you can't make it for midnight on saturday, but if you want to win, you'd need to catch up to the people who did. I've toyed with a lot of options (score systems, personal timers, etc.) to make it a race against the clock rather than against each other, but none of them would work out properly in this particular quest. I've decided for saturday night because the time between 11pm and 4am is usually the peak of activity, despite myself probably not being around to watch the progress live, either. I'm truly sorry for the people who can't make that time, but for this quest, it's the only viable option.

One of my precious Drachorns escaped! Or, more like, will escape. Eventually. Most likely in the night from saturday to sunday. Approximately at midnight server time. Or something. If you want to investigate the great escape, you'd do best to start out in the Drachorn Lair around that time. The tunnel at the far right will be your starting point. (And no, that's not an unfair advantage to Golemus people, because you can start getting there and clearing the viscosity right away if you feel like.) Due to the nature of the quest, the winner will be whoever reaches the last checkpoint first. I might not be online when you get there, because it'll probably be the middle of the night for me, so i've made that checkpoint record your names. You will also need to show up on all other checkpoints, of course. I don't think any of you really wants to cheat, but if you did, i'd notice. The winner gets a Drach Charm, 2nd, 3rd and 4th receive a Locate Stone, a Movelock Stone and a Prot Nomulti Stone, where the 2nd place gets to pick first, then 3rd, and 4th gets what's left. As previous winners, dst, Soothing Sands and darkraptor are excluded from winning the charm, but they can win one of the stones.

Hid a bunch of spam and moved to crafters forum. Guys, discuss the announcement if you feel the need to discuss it, but make it about the effects, not the semantics.

I think to remember that you already had a bot that sorted the announcements and added them to the MD Wiki? The bigger part of the announcements are outdated, system messages, and things that concern events long gone, if you can make your bot filter those, how many would be left? 300? In the wiki, people could easily find them, and add information they find useful, and it'd be simpler to reference examples and whatnot.

Heat won't do the trick. I've toyed with that for a quest a while back, and heat control is very, very easy. You can have 0 heat all the time if you want to.

There are items for that, like daggers and such. Long cooldown, though. Also, moved to Q&A.

the whole fugitive feature is more recent than the threat in Ann 1519. At the time of 1519, there was nothing that punished you for leaving jail, so there was a need for rules against it. With fugitives implemented, you're permanently on the run and potentially unable to take part in any game events, or you go to jail and sit it out. I think that the ban part of Ann 1519 was rendered pointless with the introduction of fugitives. It's just, like, a back up plan, in case somebody figures a way to escape jail and not be a fugitive either?

Seems to me that fugitive status goes very well with Ann 1519, when they even clarified that fugitive role and tools are meant for just that.

Why would those players be treated differently than any others at times they are not working on something administrative, then? Just as example, us mods can use the forum like any other player to share our thoughts, and ignore the rules we need to follow when moderating. The special rules only apply when we're using powers that other, 'normal' accounts don't have. If there's an admin using special stuff outside of the functions they should use it in, they should be treated under stricter admin rules. Otherwise, everybody should be bound to the same rules, and nobody should be allowed to call alts on anybody. Which i'd disagree very much with, because some people are seriously abusing their alts to acquire knowledge they'd never be allowed to get if people knew which others accounts they use.

Guys, really, the topic is quite interesting, so stop attacking each other. Hid some more posts, but worry not, dear civilized readers, not a single word was added to the topic in those. I'm also sorry that i didn't send out any PMs for the posts i hid friday night, it just slipped my mind, and i'll work that list off now instead. Next time i'll probably need to lock the thread. If you have problems with each other, discuss them in a PM, not on the forum.

That would need to be done by somebody with admin rights ingame, and generally happens rather irregularly. You can send a PM to Mur (low chances), e-mail your request to the council ([council], if you have a reason for a name change probably good chance), or wait until there's a festival coming up again, when one of the admin accounts is in use, they usually do little things like that on the go.

Use multiquote and respond in a forum she doesn't have mod powers in. File a complaint if you deem it necessary, Chewie takes that stuff very seriously. We (the other mods, including global) can't check other mods activities, that's an admin feature, so he's the one to talk to. Therefore, i can't see what really happened, what contents got deleted, or anything, so i don't intend to judge the situation.

Only if he already has the tag powers, though. Speaking for the GG group, we don't have anybody with the tag ability currently because we're still living in anarchy (and enjoying it, kind of), so if somebody wanted to leave the Embers, they'd need to get to the council to have things adjusted (not including that our name is broken and only the wookie knows how to make it work xD)
