what, you mean, RPCs are gone, and the PWRs keep their spells and stuff? where does that make any sense?

I'm SOO looking forward to a few of the old RPCs and about 20 'normal' players leaving =DDD FINALLY, no more hope for special treatments and extra features for all the weaklings just because they took time to make some half-decent papers, now it's WORK for abilities! may the grinders rule MD! *mwahaha* oh, on a side note, i wonder how we are going to get WP now, too... hopefully trough damn hard, dirty, bloody work^^

hmm... i guess you tried clearing cache and cookies, right? xD you should also try toying with your adblockers and firewall options, some seem to consider MD spam and block it off... about the punishments, that was for ABusing the bonuslinks, if you actually VOTE when you are asked to vote, nothing will happen to you of course nothing whatsoever happens to you for not clicking the links at all, would be very strange if that occured... imagine you are on holiday for a week and after that you are on -10 creds for not voting LOL

yet, this game is not MEANT to be userfriendly in its combat-aspects! it shouldn't have easy ways, it doesn't offer manuals on purpose, it doesn't give you AGES to create a new rit, all that has a reason. this is a harsh world, people thought of the sanctuaries and dojo as a CURSE when they were implemented, one of the MAJOR turndowns of MD, i'd just like to point you to one really long post of historic value, from a really old, unfortunately already inactive veteran, and (like it or not, dst =P) a GREAT mind of MD: http://magicduel.invisionzone.com/topic/2877-valkyries-of-violence/page__view__findpost__p__21027 Skip through her story, she's pretty accurately describing HOW newbie-friendly this game got over time already, and the more you give them newbies, the less they will learn about all of this game.

well, actually we LHO-slaves are in the game to be asked about such things you know, i can make a walkthrough for MD in like ten minutes, but where does that lead? mindless grinding, as seen on various examples in the past, and no social interaction, which is the very basic of a community. the utmost basic things are clearly described in several fighting tutorials, both ingame and on forums, you just need to open your eyes to find them... and anything that goes OVER the very basics can be learned by other players, in direct social contact, be that asking or fighting, and be sure about one thing: the best strategies don't get passed down like secret knowledge from vet to newbie, you always learn them by losing to them several times ^^ in ancient times, someone with an extraordinary creativity actually discovered them, but since then, it's learning by _losing_

pretty spoilerish, no? XD such things shouldn't occur on the forums, makes the test-levels pretty much useless...

but in essence, he is right about that when only a selected few know what you have done and achieved and then vote for you, even if they get 8-10 points each for reasons, any jerk who's doing little to nothing, but boasting about it, will get five times more votes than you do, and even when they are marked with miserable 3-5 points for reasons, they outweigh yours and i really think that the really great accomplishments are best kept as secret as possible...

definitely L, best questions i've seen here... though some of them require knowledge a 'normal' player doesn't get that easily XD

Burnsie also removed the hate page because of very outdated contents Quest page is now used for a quest again, though a newbish one without rewards right now the other papers were left almost untouched (undid a lot of 'u's and replaced them with 'you' for example... accomodations to my way of talking)

Ok, so, basically, it looks like this: Peace gave our Alliance back, and I am leader as far as loyalty goes. However, the alliance will be ruled by a Triumvirate of Grido, Bunny and me, with Grido doing the diplomacy, Bunny doing military, and me doing the rest (thanks, Bunny =P), which includes recruiting and organization on top of my list right now. Our target is to form a decent military ally to defend he land when it's needed (DEFEND!), and shelter mages and scientists who want to explore the land of Golemus. Yrthilian, as our King, has a saying in the alliance, but no seat, since he is above it, technically. However, his word doesn't count stronger than our three, and if his reasoning fails to convince us... We will keep out of his business as far as possible, and grant the researchers and mages who learn from him our full support whereever they might need it. Recruitment is open now, simply find me (usually at PC) and tell me why YOU fit this ally and its purposes, and we'll see if you are good enough The Bunny, as our military commander, worked out a little system to get our people going and enhance their skills on the fields he wants, as well as on the fields the land needs, details can be found in the next post

oh, you think it's about challenges? if i sacc them all, or just start with 3 grasies and 3 heretics in a rit is of course a very different challenge... what you propose is not about being challegening, it's about giving up all your crits, and that's not a challenge, that's plain _stupid_

pretty interesitng... hwo do you attack people when all your crits are sacrificed? very strange... oops, shouldn't have said that, should i? Now it looks like you hid your better crits behind your tag whiel luring others into saccing all of theirs...

how about a crit collection to work on? not all creatures are as stupid as bought jokers and BPs, which are indeed of little to none worth... santas, nutcrackers, crits you aquired by winning a contest, crits that were given to you, they have an actual worth, and you seriously can't outweigh the memories of a year with one reward... EVER

eventually Mur will code pictures to the items, like he did some time ago with older items... or not^^ either way, begging for an avatar won't help... it might help a bit if you sent him fitting artwork with a reqeust to add it to the item, but that's just an idea LOL

MD-Trivia Contest A short sentence (about 8-12 words) i find SOMEWHERE in the game interface will be scrambled and coded into items all over MD, each word protected with a rather easy Trivia question. People who are able to PM me where i found that sentence, NOT the sentence, JUST where i found it, win, ranking based on when correct answer reaches my inbox. Could be ready to start within an hour. Estimated lenght of the contest depends on how many prizes are to be given out, but i think not longer than 30 minutes if veterans would care to get them XD PS: I'm aware of the cheating people will try, and have a (hopefully good) way of catching them. Prizes: 1st one gold coin 2nd a Pimped Grasy, no age 3rd a TS, pretty low age 4th an Angien, no age 5th and 6th might receive a silver coin if i feel like^^ EDIT: Test was done, and very successful =) even though very little people cared to actually try it -.- dst and Pample failed miserably, asryn won a Pimped, Observer a Gold Coin, Yoshi an Angien ^^

maybe, just maybe, and this is a really weird thought, some people don't want to use alts just to temporarily change their appearance, and neither want to bug Mur to get special treatments... the main point of the WishShop, if i understood that correctly, is getting things WITHOUT bugging RPCs and/or Mur himself to get better tools for Roleplaying for your char :/ of course i might be completely mistaken with that opinion, and should just say 'uh, people, i'm in invisibilty-mode now, call me 'god-modder-freddy' until i feel like stopping...' you know, yes, roleplaying things which are inevitably not true and hope for Mur to notice and make changes til it works is an option, but i'm not sure if that's the best you can do -.-
