  1. that's not correct... the stone is supposed to give endless life, not to revive the dead, which is a GREAT difference ^^ and it would most probably not speed the regrowth of the branches of bob... it could turn him into gold if he's got enough metal in his trunk, though LOL

and i'm missing, even though i always kill all guards when i pass by... oh well, Zlei wouldn't know as he's a constantly ally-less mp4 *hehe*
  3. Best Wishes, and keep your eyes open
  4. he posted it under 'lifted from online', none of those logos can be used the way they are, but they could inspire people to make unique artworks for Bob =P
  5. to have a better grasp on it: think of your VP as your characters money. You have a bag of it (your max VP), and due to how this game works, that bag slowly refills (known from other games as working periods or something the like). As the refill takes very long, you can gain money for fighting (Take a look at your Battle logs, you get about 100 VP for normal fights, depending on heat used), and extra money for epic battles (say, the audience throws in a few coins if they enjoy the fight, like a good boxing night). That extra money can go up endlessly, i've seen over 300k VP from one fight, but more common results would be between 20k and 60k But with the very same system, that allows losing xp (to make it harder to train creatures, and, more important, make it possible for mp5 to keep on playing til the next levels get implemented), your 'money' can also be taken off you for epic fails (to stick with the boxing night: you go down after 30 seconds and the audience wants their money back), and you can even go to negative VP (call it debts if you wish). I hope that was understandable  And as this is one of the very few means to really hurt somebody in this game, some players made a habit of creating rits that will make their enemies (or mere bypassers when they do it just to show their evilness) lose roughly 50.000 VP if done properly, and you seem to have fallen victim to one of those... a good fighter could have done it within 3 fights on your mp-level so you'd better not idle in combat places when you want your VP back to positive, and either wait two weeks, or try to get a burst from somebody (if you want a detailed explanation about that, find me ingame, i'm not putting such info on the forums anymore^^) and yes, you are right, Anubarak had to wait 4 months before he was back to positive (but he did it on purpose), and if a fighter wants another player destroyed, yes, we can do it, even all alone and without friends helping us *laughs evilly* EDIT: [took me very long to write this, Lightsage got in between]: evil Light, don't make him think he was weak for not being able to kill a regener before it regens... you know as well as me that only the top 50 fighters in here are capable of taking down trees before they make you lose xp LOL
  6. another old and pointless rant: drachorns!! you can't get a wind drachorn without having a golemus drach, and you can't get a golemus drach. unless of course when you make it to RPC-level, he seems to pop in every second day to give one to them they should be rare and all, but it's really totally evil for collectors who don't get a chance to get one of those two through working for it, and buying one is just not the same -.-
  7. nah, i'm talking abotu the normal CTC-trading, tokens stay on the critters when you trade the creature
  8. what about trading the tokens that hurt you away? you can even gain something out of it that way, as with other principle combinations, best example LOWER principles for the tree issue, the tokens are strong instead of hurtful... and i think that this would be a lot more in the way Mur intended it, as he already stated that the tokens are a reason for trade, unique creatures and such... imagine you could take your too-much-power tree and trade it for another tree with maxable age (that's not that much for a tree XD) and some other stuff to someone who is more than glad with a new very-good-power-tree
  9. Crazy Captain Cryxus Crimson Crew Coalition  nah, Crimson Crew is good, i like it =))
  10. you are overpowered enough the way you are, and now you want to delete a super-token from your wind drach just so you can use it along with angiens? :fool: i think that tokens should not be deleted, they all have their uses... and they give your tactics a more personal twist, you will be the one player who won't use angiens in the same rit as a wind drach, have you ever thought about that? tokens give your creatures uber-powers (your drachorn is just about the most destructive thing in the realms), so it's just fair that they close other strategic doors for you
  11. Burns replied to a post in a topic in Dimensional Shifters
No One said all the necessary things... bare seconds before i was able to post the same thoughts LOL and even while i edit my piece, dst is writing a new one... O_o
  12. to answer the question you didn't dare to ask, phantasm: no, you can't get an RPC by bugging Mur or Akasha, you have to create a _new_, interesting role and stick with it (being a crafter is not original and will therefore most likely only make you a PWR with minor powers at best, another might-be-roleplayer at worst), play it at all times and be online about 4 hours a day to qualify for RPC-status =) on the other questions: there are RPCs which I haven't seen online in 350 days, most of those are story-related characters Mur created to start off with something... RPC clean-ups are not done like the LHO clean-up, they stay on the list for various reasons, mostly because handing out powers twice is not a murry thing to do sorry Akasha, i was under the impression that you were doing a great part of early storywork... i heard that you created the background of Thanasia and the Shade Sentinel, and played both of them, along with Mara and, obviously, Akasha for some time to get the adventures running... i guess those infos were not correct, then :/
  13. Shaodw is right, the bugged one is emerald glare... but it's known by now and suffidiently tested, dst even found a use for this bug and knows everything about it by now, so i guess Mur aready has everything he needs for solving the problem... if he wants it solved, that is =) i thought people might want to know that the bug is controlable... on the other hand, you're right, why give away our secrets? XD
  14. ohhh... GotR has found a new leader =) the first guy who's bright enough to do a reversal of the burden of proof... instead of asking the community to elect him, he says that he is the leader, and those who are not willing to follow him shall speak up THAT's what i want to hear from a true leader, congrats, Firs ^^
  15. (just wanted to add that i love how people's private issues with each other seem to end up on the forum these days, please don't let yourself be stopped by someone as small as me... keep it up, i want to have some fun when i browse through the forums tomorrow^^)
  16. another reason Udgard forgot: you will need all the creatures you can get in fights at some point, none of them is totally useless... of course there are some which work better than others MOST OF THE TIME, but there is no creature that has no use, and if you show me your best rit, i'll show you a counter using only creatures which you thought useless for fights ;-) PS: *blushes* thanks, MRI B)
  17. why update it? it's quite clear: trading items is not related to trading money at all... silver coins are no money, but a sort of item, while money is, as mur (/whoever else wrote that) states, an idea that is not used in his realms... it's just a coincidence that the silver coins are called silver coins like in silver dollars or such, if they were pink ribbons, they'd have the same value -> no 'money' (like the thing that is used here, with bank notes and little nickels and such) involved, more a trade-based currency comparable to rare shells or teeth and whatever else people used back then so, i think that it's perfectly right the way it is, and changing it to 'money is involved' would only make people think that they have to buy items for dollars...
  18. of course you should try to level them to max, but it's not like the cap was designed to keep your creatures low... and they don't level up endlessly anyway, most creatures have between 3 and 6 levels ;-) just make sure that you keep them out of your fights when the need neither xp nor wins, and you'll be more than fine even when you use all 16 creatures (if you take the time to wait for the age requirements, those are huge) ^^
  19. by saying to 'only just' level them up i mean that you shouldn't get 150 wins and 50.000 xp on a creature that only needs 50 wins and 15.000 xp for the next level... all the xp you give to them 'over' their max-requirement are definitely wasted for mp3 and yes, leveling up just about everythign you can get a hold of is the best thing you can do on mp3, you need to learn about crits and rituals before you can make strategies and don't try for mp3-HC on your first account, that will give you nothing but frustration XD
  20. losing money? how'd you do that? XD however, yes, you can 'fix' everything you want on mp5, personally i rushed through mp3 and 4 in less than a month, came to mp5 with not even an ele on lvl 5 (they are useful^^) and still managed to survive my first few weeks, and foudn some people who helped me level my creatures up and such... whatever you do on mp3, you can still do whatever you like on mp5... it's kinda endless for the time being =)
  21. you can have 16 creatures, so get 4 of every kind and experiment with them, that's how it's done on mp3  however, i'd suggest that you try to ONLY JUST upgrade them, so better not use one of your creatures in almost every combat, that how people waste xp on lower levels and then wonder why they are weak... and you'll need to find the tricks of xp-decreasing, the real precious tricks are strong enough to create HC-winners and are neither for free nor for public forums ;-)
  22. barren wasteland? there are more mp3 and 4 around than ever before... and they even talk in chat instead of just listening to what the elders say XD however, those who were off-balance before are now killing everything they can get a hold off, not necessarily for vics, but for keeping their stats (not for the stats sake, but because of the principle of hating to lose something you already have) and set insane defences... therefore most mp5 don't idle anymore... the active community is almost the same as before, but with less idlers, it's less interesting to go where the idlers used to hang out to kill, and instead go and hunt a bit *hehe* and, what's more annoying, the passive fighters are now gone... which means less fun in chat... on the other hand, quests are getting more interesting now, because fighting out of boredom is not time-filling anymore, so people will most likely start to do minor quests, or harder quests, which they usually don't care about, and train their mind a bit i still dislike the change, but i get used to it XD
  23. trust in dst, she's the mechanics-god ^^ if she says there are ways, they are there, you just didn't find them yet ;-)
  24. you can try PMing Mur, if you find him, but i guess he won't do it, the shop is closed for a reason XD
  25. most _really_ important facts are not that easily available, we are in MD after all  the rule is simple: places where not everybody can go on theirselves are off-bounds. eg, Loreroot is open in general because it's within he 'normal players' powers to go in and out at will, while Oak Tower Interior is closed for HC, and who is caught there gets kicked out... Necrovion is naturally closed and i suggest you don't go in while the HC is running, you'll get thrown out everytime dst notices your coords XD on the other hand, Golemus is open now, everybody can get in at will ^^ so, to sum it up(better than the announcement back then): for all locations that need spells, certain storylines, jumping or general RPC-help to get there, the HC-helpers have permission to kick you out to GoE, for all other locations they could do it, but shouldn't during HC EDIT: PS yes, the HC is unfair, and if there were rules stating clearly what you can and can't do, the whole unfairness would be out of it, wouldn't it? LOL
