you know, there's peepz like me out there who take a look at the quests and then vote without trying to actually do the quest to the end... some of the quests out there are definitely boring, but some are really really good quests (idea, instruction, rate of interaction, rate of knowledge needed...), and personally, i'd love to have at least four balloons to vote, it just doesn't feel right to give shadow's great quest the same rating as kittness (don't get me wrong, that quest is entertaining and funny, but it's nowhere near as interesting as shadow's XXL 'run around and get infos'-quest) :/

Burns: he didn't know was that the wine had been poisoned by.... Grido: a strange woman wearing a feather boa... Chewett: that have an idea that he ... dst: was cheating on her with... Grido: Hannah, which as it turns out he was... Metal Bunny: not as Grido fancies other types than Hannah, more petite... Glaistig: really. Grido began convulsing and... Grido: started reaching toward a conviniently placed antidote... Garg: Which, unbeknown to Grido was in actuality full of... Burns: nothing but pure fountain water. Yet, he swallowed it all in one gulp and... dst: spits it out quickly cause it tasted like... Grido: beer, and he doesnt like beer. Cryxus: He rolled and writhed as he looked at Jonn, smiling slightly. "Only you can save me now".... Metal Bunny: Jonn could only reply with: 'Mouth to mouth? Burns: It might feel a little weird, seeing you are no gopher, but i'd still do it for you if you promise...'' Grido: before finishing that sentence, Jonn remembered that Hannah was in the room still, apparently forgotten, she then performs the mouth to mouth.... dst: resuscitation but because she was a bit blind she did it to someone else who happened to be around. That person was... Cryxus: ...Perrobotillo. Grido frowns and turned back to Jonn... Grido: and says ''when did Perro get here?'' and then continues slowly dying.... Burns: while suffering from terrible pain, but all of a sudden, he has THE idea to save his life:... [it felt right to save you, after all i was the one who poisoned you =P]

hmm... why explain it with gravity? i never heard of a gravity principle, and we walks this lands as 'ghosts' or 'souls' or something, as far as i remember the story, so we shouldn't have any feeling for gravity... on the other hand, the lands around us show signs of at least some gravity (books lying around, this hanging down from the ceiling...), but would ANY gravity be enough to push our world of unknown material and stability to a sphere? I guess not... but i'm not that great in physics, so i might be wrong xD

i chose probably flat, as we can't really say it for sure until we know all of it... but i'd personally like a flat image of our world better, and i think i've once heard that you can see it as a flat world when you are in a dream... not sure, though^^

do you expect everyone to post his age here? that's what the poll is for, ain't it? would be interesting to have a survey on what people do in RL (school, college, work, old age pension [yes, there are some^^])...

any mission that moves people so much is to be supported, ain't it?^^ and we can start opposing whatever he does when the time comes to face whatever he's doing... if there a new shade war, i'd personally welcome it with open arms, i love everything that happens and changes boring everyday-life in MD =) still, i'd choose to be on the 'brightling-side', as they were called back then, so i guess i would be among the opposing group... still, i support whatever's going on right now... seems paradox, now that i read through it i still support everything he might be doing, even if that means that there will be a new wave of things to oppose rolling on... i even support it when i get things to rant against xD

maybe climate change is finally upon us, just with slightly changed forecasts... instead of turning europe into a desert, it will turn UK into an even wetter place LOL

i guess you would, actually... nobody would know what to do against the snow LOL as i live in the middle of the alps, we are used to snow... but this week we had over 3 feet in the valleys, more than 8 feet in the mountains =) that almost beats the record of 1968, wehn my dad left his house not through the door, but through the window in first floor xD it's sorta strange to go out of your house to see a white wall where the road used to be yesterday O_o

ailith had 8000 something when the final stage was over... then there was light with 8000 and a bit, and the rest of the winners had a lot less points... i think logan made it with less than 1500 points to place 4 O_o

i share awii's point here, the quests should have something for the fighters as reward, as it's part of the game mechanics, really... i wouldn't be here if it was just combat, i can get that sensation anywhere, but this place offers some brain activity next to combat strategy, and i love that =) if the quests were just for the role players, like some/most of the new quests people make in order to get a PWR/RPC promotion in next festival, that would be a real loss for people like me =( and make no mistake, peepz, even though i can't solve your quests because i have no idea whom to talk to, i still like them, and actually think about learning something about the roleplayers here in order to solve your quests xD maybe there could be a difference between wishpoints and 'rolepoints'... you can get wishpoints for the 'fighters part' of the shop by solving quests that are about fighting, like smartalek's head hunt for the drachorn necklace back then (i'm sure some will remember), and rolepoints for the 'roleplayers part' of the shop, like 'get custom tag and description' from roleplayers quests, like 'talk to the vampire lady and bring her the werewolves head (whatever, i'm not that deep into the roles here =P)', and of course you could earn different points for those quests that need some common thinking or knowledge, like bootes actual quest or simply's last one, the RPC would just have to choose which point to give away (or even ask the player which point s/he'd like better, that's a matter between the RPC and the quest-solver then) that way it would be rather easy to make a difference between different styles of playing and the different items you can buy in the shop... and it wouldn't be that hard, becasue as far as i know, the WP is just a entry in the RPC log on each player, ain't it? so it would be no problem to write WP or RP in there^^

if your heads were away afterwards, you lost them, and that explains why you didn't get the score ;-) and you don't have to be online to get points, you also score when idle, all you have to do is be in a place where you can be attacked (meaning not in a sanc^^) obviously, you can't score when offline =) EDIT: damn, once more too slow...

Metal Bunny: Grido woke up next to Hannah who... MRWander: Turns and says "Honey Jonn was looking for you... Cryxus: as she traces her finger across his chest... Metal Bunny: while whispering that Jonn and his gophers are here to.. Grido: say hi, and ask how you're doing, have a cookie then leave without anything odd happening." Cryxus: but Grido knew better... Metal Bunny: Grido knew that both he and Jonn desired to ... Grido: help the new players in Magic Duel, as best as they could Blaze: but instead, they were going to give into temptation and. MRWander: and eat the WHOLE bag of oreos without sharing them. Cryxus: "this is going to go straight to my thighs" they joked and laughed... Metal Bunny: ,but Jonn, you know your thighs always look fabulous, said Grido and... dst:took another sip of the wine.What... Burns: he didn't know was that the wine had been poisoned by...

Reporting of Violations of Treaty between GG and Loreroot
Burns replied to Isaki's topic in Guerrilla Golemicarum
I'd not only say that fighting is not a negative thing, i'd even go as far as claiming that duelling and roleplaying are completely unlinked at this point in time. There may have been a time, long ago, when roleplaying and fighting were deeply bound together, like GGs who kill Necros and vice-versa, and Lores who don't attack if they are not attacked, but imo, that time has long since faded. Today, we roleplay, chat and have fun at willows, and still attack anything alive there... it's even common to attack exactly the person you are talking to, and i like it that way =) Of course there are other places for RPing where fighting is prohibited, like windy's pub in the sanctuary, where those who are down and don't need more losses gather to have some fun time, too, but i have to give in that that's just not my world in there... strange things are going on there :/ There is no real link between RP and duels in my eyes, not even when people have a dicussion and the argument gets to a point at which a old-fashioned fist-fight has to take place, people rather do it like *punches on xxx's nose* *stumbles, wipes the blood away and deals a kidney-punch to yyy* *bends over, but recovers after a few moments and goes straight for xxx's stomach* instead of really dueling each other... I have to give in that i neither like nor understand the meaning of that treaty anymore, but i still decide to rather leave the poor little Lores alone and only attack those who think on the same lines as i do, which are mostly the stronger players like Raven and Shadow^^ But, on the other hand, i have chosen to mainly fight at willow's and leave the other players alone... the best combat partners are at willow's anyway =D -
obviously, i've made a mistake there... the official title of the song is 'Brain Damage', but the last line of the chorus says 'I'll see you on the dark side of the moon', that's why it got the subtitle 'dark side of the moon'^^ Brain Damage / Dark side of the Moon Girl on the Moon i love them both =)

nobody knows the game developments before manu releases them, so how should that work? i guess you could do some kind of a historical point fo view on those things, but the old announcements are public anyway, so i don't really see the point in that...

how about those: Girl on the moon - foreigner man on the moon - REM and my personal favorite: dark side of the moon - pink floyd

ok, i have no idea what changed, but i can log in again now so please close / delete, ty for your attention^^

I have just tried to log into my acc after going idle, and i didn't get in =( yes, i have tried the normal things liek using e-mail address, using playername, clear cache and cookies, restart and reconnect^^ anybody else here having such troubles, or is it me doing something wrong? :/
-
as i have very little time atm, i'd like to work on the gossips, strategy compendium and maybe a bit of history section^^ i think i could also handle some pieces about general events and AL events once my exams are over and i have some sparetime again =)
-
have you ever thought that there might be just nothing to add? xD people normally only say something when something is missing/going wrong, and keep their heads down as long as everything seems fine... i can observe that everytime when writing exams ('everyone has their sheets?' answer A :'NOOOO, i haven't got one' answer B: *silence, with everybody thinking 'i have mine, but there might be someone... so i better keep quiet') i have read your post, and i have found nothing to add evan after reading the newspaper for two days... there's everything in that list, it's straight out perfect^^
-
what about The Ninjunny? i haven't seen you playing with that acc in ages, you could use it once again for a bit of fun in marind bell, couldn't you? xD

actually, the motion of the moon and the sun (in RL) are not connected at all (unless you count that the moon runs on a circle-like way around the black hole in the middle of our galaxy along with all other stars in the galaxy... everything is relative^^) so, why should we assume that the MD lands have a geo-centric star movement instead of a helio-centric? It doesn't make any sense to say that we will see the moon again once the sun moves again, you can also see the moon at bright daylight half of the month in RL... I'd rather suggest that the pillars only influence the movement of our world around it's own axis, not the movement of the moon or (given the geo-centric point of view) the sun. If that is true, the moon should turn on it's normal way around the MD world, and we should be able to see it from time to time. IF it didn't turn, it would fall down due to gravity. So, considering both arguments to be true (i'm not that sure, never listened that closely in physics), that leaves two options: A) the moon doesn't exist, or it existed, but was stopped on it's way when the pillars broke down and fell down to the world on the 'night side', and our planet is huge enough we didn't notice B)Our moon runs so far away from our world that it needs exactly one year for one round around the planet, and the breaking of the pillars didn't stop the world from turning, but slowed it down so much that now a day (turn around it's own axis) is as long as one year (one turn around the sun), making sun always shine on one side of our world (which would then be the side the MD lands are on) and the moon run in a geo-static orbit on the other side of the world. To clarify, that would mean that the sun, the world and the moon are always in a row, with us being dots on the world that are on the side that is turned towards the sun, and therefore we couldn't see the moon ever (except if we found a way to travel halfway around the world). now, b2t, what can nelya and bootes do: assuming that the pillars didn't influence the turning of the world, but were influenced by it, they could have broken from the same cause that slowed the world down (i think that argument has already been here), because, being teleportation devices, the pillars have to work with the curve and the turning of the planet, else they would send you somewhere they aren't supposed to. So i would suggest that bootes and nelya don't try to fix the pillars and see what happens, but rather try to speed the world up again, maybe with the inner magic 'cure' lady nelya posesses and a huge amount of transposition-principle... strange idea, yes, but the only one i can think of :/

i already guessed that Amo and Kala are roughly the same 'size' (stats, creatures, knowledge...) as they are the same person (more or less^^), but whenever two people of the same strenght come to fight each other, none of them comes out of it unharmed... so i'd still say that running and calling ren and his spaceship to help would be the best chance for amoran to get both characters out of it unharmed, as ren can keep Kala at distance without crushing her for sure =)
