? now u completely lost me. i speak of a chain of command in Marind Bell... i cant speak of any other because just as u pointed out alrdy i said that i have nothing to do with sparring grounds.
anyway enough of that. if u have issues with the name being violated or stolen or whatever then i suggest that Rhaegar gives it another name. for now i see u doing nothing at all in the PARK and Rhaegar suggesting a nice concept for the PARK. actually we could even move it to wisper alley, champ challenge or anywhere else in Marind Bell. the park is the best location though because its intended for newbies and almost all start at the park. they cant see the orange dots on the worldmap so chances are high that they would miss the location if it were somewhere else.
this is intended to be a marind bell project! so if u will forget about sparring grounds or dojo or whatever else for a second and turn to what this is about a new idea for new players and also older ones to learn how to fight. give ur feedback to that please the location really matters the least ...- Jubaris, Watcher and Kyphis the Bard

SG is community project and "landless". park is marind bell location. since ur question uses a mobile community project/a concept or idea that i cant touch and tie/bind it to a physical location this is the best i can answer with. but if u meant that i consider myself as authority over the sparring grounds then no. NO i have nothing to do with it and no say in its affairs. the king of a land however is free to apply the best concept in his own land. and i do see this one as superior to the current deserted/abandoned sparring grounds for sure. but lets see... this is a topic that asks for the community opinion afterall. so lets not rush stuff.
and no i declare/order nothing at all. like i said in other topics before i cant stand how people get attacked for eveything they try and want to help the community with. so what i am doing here is defending Rhaegar in stating that he honored the chain of command and did all that was necessary before merely announcing an idea and his plans.- Watcher, Jubaris and Kyphis the Bard

Shadowseeker u are missing what this topic is about...
Rhaegar is stating his plans here and waits for feedback from the community. there is no enforcing or anything so far. he is actually doing what u expect of him asking predecessors or ANYONE else what they think of this or how they feel about this project.

it would have been polite of him to talk with u before it yes but it certainly isnt necessary. let me give u an example here:
CEO of a company hires me to replace his old manager who was in charge of staff training. old manager retired and left the company.
of course i could come to the old manager and ask him for advice or similar but that would certainly be the exception. he is retired from the job afterall so i have nothing to do with him [u]anymore[/u] even if he was my superviser before.
i am really sorry but i dont see ur arguments relating to the situation. Rhaegar applies for a job in [b]Marind Bell[/b] why would he ask a [b]Golemus[/b] alliancemember especially if that person abandoned the place?
the park is in Marind Bell and with that I or the council of Marind Bell is the only entity that he needs to talk to.
Firsan made a big post about a chain of command in loreroot and yes Marind Bell has one as well and it would be news to me if golemus citizen are included in there.
I prefer activity in MD over dead leftover projects that are slowly rotting away. in my opinion Rhaegar is the right person to take charge of the park and whatever happened in his past is of no concern to me. the past is over so i move on and live in the present ...on top of that people change. -

I talked with several players about the park and how I would like having a decent training ground there because the place was deserted and nobody cared for it anymore. There were really good plans from a player within Marind Bell before but he sadly has no time atm to care for the dojo. Rhaegar is very enthusiastic about the whole idea and is also mp6 what makes the whole new concept work even better. I talked a long time with him about the park and agreed to his ideas and think they are good.

its official name is wind DRAGON and not drachorn.
and i must highly disagree with u yrth. some stupid example ...lets see...if human is killed and bitten by a vampire he becomes a vampire as well and isnt human anymore. the gg drachorn died in the mutation just like the human who going to become a vampire. -

are u sure? the only thing that is unusual if i use my ring is that the join date wont get displayed. but the person still shows up in the citizen list.

there is a category of "any creature" of which u can still use 6 in the ritual. that is the santa and unholy pope (i dont have more than 3 of those so i dont know if the ritual will be allowed to enter combat)
also for the imperial aramor it says they belong to aramor category and that 4 can be used. but if u put 4 into the ritual and want to attack it says ritual cant be used because it has more than 3 crits of same type. imperials are awesome! reallow the 4th one please especially if it already says so in the rit selections screen. same goes to archers. i can put 4 heretic archers in my ritual but if i want to attack with it the rit gets removed.

i wont say much but burns is right there. people misunderstand the angien shade balance part when mur mentioned comparing them might teach us a lot. its not that the angien balances the shade or that they are opposites. its that by understanding how the shades aquire their balance one can understand more clearly how the angiens might do it.

PS: the 1 point that goes to whoever looses the most battle...if a fight goes for 20minutes alliance member have a disadvantage there they can only be attack once whil no ally member can be attacked twice. -
several people speak from libertys character and the libs but all i can see is nobody having the slighest idea what their role really is and what they were made for.
the libs were the first roleplaying project of multiple accounts that ever got allowed the way it is. why do u think that is?
the libs role and purpose continues and has little to do with liberty himself being gone. they are an individual project with their own reason for existance that doesnt need their creator to survive.
is it not possible to have a legacy anymore? i mean if i were to quit marind bell and kingship do all my projects have to die and get buried with me? would the alliance KoB that i rebuild after the lost war in necrovion simply get disbanded and removed from existance because the person responsible for its role is gone? wouldnt somebody else continue my projects? how are the libs different from that...?
libs never got banned or in trouble in the past why should they now? nothing has changed expect the person who supervises them. oh and people did complain but never was anything done. again why is that? because they never broke the rules due to their unique character and purpose.- Kyphis the Bard and Watcher

i dont know how many times i already said that but the torch competetion is so flawed that even if Marind Bell were to cheat like hell they wouldnt get one single score.
u dont believe me? just a few points:
MB has the only capital that can be accessed by new players who pick up a torch, walk 2 steps out until they have no ap and then sit there for 12mins unable to move. in that time somebody kills them and is able to walk right into the sanct with the score from the noob kill without having to wait for ap or anything. which gets MB negative score and him positive score.
MB can be attacked from 2 sides especially the side from loreroot cant be defended at all because its no even our own teritory. they need 1 single step on MB ground to score.
MB has the sanct that is easiest reached. much closer to GoE than any other sanct so everybody scores in MB. of course they do why wouldnt they its easiest and fastest.
and lastly...why does golemus have such a huge score? because only 1 or 2 player participate for it? noo because it takes twice as many steps to their capitol as to winds sanct. so why would anybody ever walk all the way to golemus to score. they simple never get and neg score. its like u need 1 hour to walk to winds sanct and 2 hours to golemus...why u go to golemus then?
oh and i forgot one torch competetion underground allied with Marind Bell and scored over 40+ points but what happened? no score at all because of all the neg score we get from mp3 and mp4 who are new players.
TC is just so ridiculous unbalanced and impossible for some lands to even get positive score that i dont bother anymore at all. its the worst competition i ever saw and i feel bad for even taking place in it no matter what torch i carry.
so yes let the flying fortress of golemus keep winning while all the other peasant towns (lore, MB, ect) keep getting torched. -
the alt abuse rule i know goes something like this:

what does the alt tracker do? it prevents u from attacking ur own account. so that seems to be the major restriction.
yrth cant train on the libs and doesnt even want to. he cannot gain from the alts (the libs). so game rule wise this seems perfectly fine to me.
as to the incident in the maze where people got banned. that was because they used their own alts to train. they attacked there own and not somebody elses!
this is very different.
so next point: is it fine for golemus to have a private training ground?
why not? if u dont like that u are excluded complain to ur king or make an own. every mainland can easly copy this sort of training ground if they wanted to. they all have private locations.
yrth is setting up a system here that technically anybody could copy. if people dont copy it and dont get access to yrth its not his problem. yrth is the active person who actually creates something and all of u who complain about it only being for golemus people are in my eyes the lazy people who prefer destroying something before getting active themself and building a similar system.
[b]jester, firsan and me to name a few and cover all the mainlands could easly build a similar system so please stop complaining that its only a golemus thing. [/b]
i fail to see how this is a bad thing that needs to be destroyed. so far i got no single reason against it besides personal opinions on how alts should be treated. what was the main issue with the ggg? people didnt understand and learn anything and most of the action happened in some far away location. yrth already said this is limited to 5 people. so again very different in its essence. [b]is it that bad if 5 people are away from the realm for a few days to train?[/b] or better said does something have to get destroyed and shut down because YOU dont like it? (i am sorry if this might offend anybody but no clearly defined game rules get broken here)
PS: i am a little angry about the recent trend that every new creation needs to be shot down and destroyed. u all complain about action lagging in MD ...well surprise surprise all new ideas get killed by u who complain about it. why not build and CREATE something instead of only destroy?- Akasha, Kyphis the Bard, Mya Celestia and 3 others

i already really dislike the idea of items being lost on "ggg alts". the items are completely lost and never used and its already hard to find out the main account. plus once u do they refuse to trade unless u offer a drachorn or more.
i must say that i really dont get how this alt abuse system works. all i know is that several of my accounts got banned because i stored creatures on them. if that got me banned isnt it much worse having items being completely lost on alts? for crits nobody cares since they dont belong to anybody but the land items actually belong to people. they had them created only to see them lost on some alts who treat them with the highest disrespect imaginable and only seek to make the highest profit out of that piece of junk (as they see it). they are unique creations that are reduced to a mere piece of trash on some unknown alt that prefers letting them rust instead of giving them to anybody unless a completely unreasonable price is paid.
if alts are used to benefit a main its alt abuse. that is stated in the rules. so if u trade one of ur several items u got on ur alts because u were training in ggg against something rare for ur main account its surely breaking those rules. its already bad enough that some dummy target ggg alts got unique land items but them treating the situation like they were gifted free drachorns on the cost of everybody else is much worse. -
i wont say anything about the ggg but whats the deal with accusing the ggg of manufacturing overpowered people? what the hell has the ggg to do with unbeatable players? unbeatable is tons of tokened creatures along with critboost and for that all u need is money and some lously 4k in principles. and enough xp isnt gained in the ggg for that anyway. i mean heck u get how much? 5,000 attack or so from token? how long would i have to grind to get 30,000 attack (5000 x 6 for a six crit ritual) in the ggg?! and that isnt even the start of it but everything more would be way to much spoiler. u cant train for shit in the ggg its completely utterly useless. all u get are some nice wins and some useless attack and defense stats. now power is nice as well but far from what money buys u in the MDShop.
the only slight problem i might see that leads to real abuse in ggg is farming for VE on tons of trees. getting free wins to evolve ur crits is lame but it hurts nobody. and the stats are as i already said utterly useless.
stat grinding (as in att, def and power) is really not the issue here.
if anything is unbalancing the fighting system and making people invincible then it is creature boost which is even worse than anything else. next would be angiens being way to strong and after that the usual token problem. but i really have to admit no matter how much i hate token they are the slightest problem and not even close to what really causes all the trouble.
so to everybody that is only worried about stat grinders: bann tree farming if u can and want. that is the only statwise problem the ggg could ever cause. as said by multiple people in this topic the problem is that people learn nothing at ggg and wont ever understand the fighting system there. and all the community stuff of dead locations, missing action elsewhere ect...
EDIT: please note that i am not speaking for mp5 only. even a mp3 can get 4k principle these days if he really uses every possibility! actually with the right resources its really easy to max ur principles at mp3- Watcher, apophys and Kyphis the Bard

10 people that are higher in the ranking than the second place who cant really participate and not even take heads...and never even tried to score or anything in the contest.
4th place? not even visable... probably around 20 score... thats having 60 lame heads and scoring just once towards the end of the contest and get a medal credits ect...
i wont say more than this but please discuss... -

when i started playing there was something in the introduction that said even a new player can beat an older one if he sets the correct rituals. or something like that. was that taken out or why are people thinking all that is needed are stats?
what makes ridiculously strong rituals are not stats at all! even most tokened creatures can be easly beaten without stats or having token urself.
how certain things work in the fighting is what makes u ridiculously strong along with the right set of creatures. those lame profile stats really matter the least and even now with the new crit restrictions its still like that.
EDIT: Anatoli i have 10000+ attack stats and i can easly be beaten by people who have no profile attack stats at all even if i set a good ritual.
