1. There is a topic working to clarify the alt abuse rules here. The CLC has made a statement regarding its stance on this particular aspect here. To clarify your definition of alts and mains, for the purposes of alt abuse it does not matter which account is considered the alt or the main. If you have multiple accounts, and one account helps another, then both accounts are guilty of alt abuse. It does not matter which is considered the alt and which the main, both are guilty. The difference between an alt and a main only comes into play when there is severe alt abuse, to the point that all accounts will be banned. Depending on the nature of the offense, it may be the punishment that all but one account are permanently jailed, in such a case the account which will be given a temporary jailtime is the account considered by the punishing body as the main, while the accounts given permanent bans are considered by the punishing body as the alts. ie for determining if there an abuse happened, an accounts status as alt or main is irrelevant. For determining severity of punishment, an accounts status as alt or main may play a factor in some cases.
2. Nope. But Eon's alts are logged in regularly, and travel around a lot. Unlike what you just expressed, which is dead alts, Eon's alts are very much active. They just don't do anything that distinguishes them from Eon's main.
3. Far as the whole supporter argument goes.... When someone pays (actually pays, not just uses free credits to get it) a lot of money, that puts them on Mur's radar, yes. But what that means, is he is going to pay more attention to them whenever they come up, because he recognises them a bit more. That means, if they do anything wrong, he is LESS likely to let it slip by. So yes, supporters do get special treatment. But until the spent credits shop opens, and outside Tombolas, that special treatment is not something anyone wishing to break the rules would want. At any rate, I'm going to bring this matter to the CLC and see what advice we can give you here. EDIT: Just as an additional, personal note... I have never seen any of Eon's alts do anything that contributes to them having a role. Without any role of their own, it is NOT POSSIBLE to argue that they are not there just as an extention of the main, and thereby as a means to alt abuse. However, this is obviously only the case if they haven't been taking efforts to have a role of their own (ie talking in chat, PMs, raising their own creatures, creating their own papers, competing in quests, etc). I have never observed them doing any of these things, but that doesn't mean they havent. So, dst and Eon, before it even becomes necessary for them to provide any substantial evidence that those accounts are used for alt abuse, the onus is on YOU to provide evidence that those accounts have their own role, that they are developing. But as I said, that is all my own personal opinion, and nothing official, and really just food for thought.
4. It looks exactly like my display there, and I have a few thousand more wins and losses than you, so I would say it has just gotten too thin to see.
5. Let me just check... EDIT: The text of the tokens has been changed, so now they operate within parameters. This can be closed.
6. Now I need to remove all my important notes from the notebook... *sighs*
7. This didn't surprise me at all, actually. If you look back at the Jester/Poe incident, they look at as many different factors in the situation as they can to come to as fair and unbiased a result as they can. There are always a lot of factors in any case, nothing major just "happens" without some sort of motivation first. Would yrthiliian have used the tools if Azull wasn't in a Golemian Alliance? No. Would he have been in the alliance if Kiley hadn't let him? No. Was the last instruction he recieved not to use the tools? Yes. So yes, yrthilian did what he wasn't supposed to, but he was doing what he wasn't supposed to in response to someone else doing what they wheren't "supposed to". Doesn't make it any more or less right or wrong, but it does change the facts. Personally, I like that they run like this. It might mean that they take much longer to come to a concensus about how to handle anything (maintain lack of bias, cover all the angles takes a while, just ask anyone who has done jury duty, or watch 12 angry men to understand this), but ultimately it means they are fair. And we all know Mur isn't fair (he is a Demon, who REALLY expects him to be fair?)
Its always intresting for me to see Murs views on matters, since its so radically different from ours. Personally for me, in this case, i was against yrth because he did something he wasnt meant to (sorry yrth you are still the best gg king ) But, it seems that although the kings are gone, and they are not allowed to use their powers, they still think the land laws should be upheld (which to me, seems wrong, since there is no king, king makes and enforces land laws, so surely you have no land laws???)
I think in this case (abdication) that any land laws would, logically, still stand. Yes the kings might make the laws, but that doesn't mean that without a king there are no laws. Say for example someone pulled a Guy Fawkes and succeed, and then assassinated the royal family. There would be no law creating body in England, however the laws would still stand and the police would still catch criminals who broke the law. The situation would potentially be very different in the case of rebellion, however, as that would suggest that the people do not like their leader and the way the land is being run. In a rebellion I think it is logical that at the point of success all current land laws cease being enforced until restated by the new land leader (either exactly the same or with different phrasing and conditions) And yes, yrthilian was (and still is) the best King GG ever had
8. I certainly hope that something is put somewhere so we know that this has started, since who knows what a spam filter will mark as spam...
9. Me Gusta
10. Best Wishes, Strongarm is a good fellow. Like most others though, I do like Wind and Rain better. And personally, I think it suits Nightbane as well >.>
11. There have been several cases in the past where people who don't have the ability to edit MD scripts have been given it for doing really good scripts in the past. A lot of players who have MD Script ability don't utilize it for themselves, and would be happy to help someone by putting code into scriptable objects on their behalf. I personally gained full scripting access mainly so that if anyone with coding skills wants to help add to MD like that, but doesn't have Wishpoints for the scripting ability, I can help them out. So If he wants to do that, I would be happy to help, as would most other MD players with the ability.
12. They are also used for casting spells, if you have them (either from permanent ability or a memory stone).
13. Which is funny, since MD started on Forums
14. I'd encourage you to stick with No Mans Land (look into established housings though) Although, with your cheery attitude and potential destructivness, it would be mildly ironic if you found your way into Necrovion...
15. Welcome to MD . We don't all play nice, but I hear some people like that... MD has something for everyone, you just need to find it first And if it doesn't exist? Make it! (disclaimer: Makin' stuff has a habit of annoying the vets. If you think you can do something and you know it isn't going to break the rules, but a bunch of vets is objecting, don't worry. We have all made stuff in the past, and makin' somethin' usually involves destroyin' somethin' else. But bah, progress-ward ho!)
16. That's why it would only be the regular, spammy announcements that get moved there. For example, as I said above, the announcement for the begining of the HC would be in there, but not the one for the end of stage one and two (since these fall on different dates/times each time, and often contain important information for the participants, as well as historical data on the winners) The HC is an especially good example, since it falls on a set date rather than a set day, and has the same interval every year, it doesn't require any reworking each year (it is possible that some such as the item regrouping, which happens on a set day rather than a set date, would require either for it to be reentered each year, or for some automated system to calculate it as the year goes by, both of which could be a bit of work)

MD Calender Integration
18. There are a lot of regular events that happen at the same interval every time. Personally, I would like to see them added to the Calender, rather than posted in the Announcements. I'm talking about events such as the Beginning of HC (Not the end, that should remain in announcements), Item Regrouping, Spell Casts Refresh, and other such, regular, events. Also things like the MD birthday, Murmas, and any other holidays MD decides to celebrate annually, although in these cases there would (obviously) still be announcements about the event. It being on the calender would just make it a little bit more searchable. If you can think of anything else, please post below.
19. They will still be the same price. While there are more of them, once they morph they are basically taken off the market again, so the value of an un-morphed morph is the same. Which sucks for me since I still haven't been lucky enough to get one *laughs* Although, this could change in the future if Mur starts melting them more often (look back in the announcements if you don't know what I mean)
20. Does it really matter who the second one is? He did the job Mur asked of him, and didn't do the wrong thing (steal creatures). It wasn't so much him pretending to be Seigheart, it was him responding to Murs request. It is even possible he didn't realize who Mur thought he was, if neither BFH or Mur referred to him as Seigheart (since they didn't organize this as a group, this is likely, since in one-on-one communication it isn't normal to refer to people by name)
21. Personally, the method that I would like to see to avoid Abuse actually uses the current restriction as its base element. I would like to see the tree give a dialogue when first clicked, saying that the tree has an active days % requirement, and whether or not you meet it (but not necessarily what it is). I would then like it to explain the following based on which applies:

If your account does not meet the active days requirement, then you can still access the tree from this account, however no other accounts flagged a your alt will be able to use the tree this year. (ie "You may still access the tree on this account, however you will not be able to access it on any other accounts until next year")
It your account does meet the requirement, then you can access the tree on this account, as well as any others that also meet the requirement that are flagged as your alt, however none of the accounts that are flagged as your alt and do NOT meet the requirement.
I would then also like it to ask you whether you will proceed, or decline. This solution gives players who have many truly active alts the option to get presents for them all (which is the point of the current check) as well as allowing players who have left for long periods to still be able to join in. It doesn't fix the abuse of people creating alts and keeping them active all year, however this problem is not a new one and is the same as the current abuse. I think that this method is a simple way to make the process more fair, and while it won't reduce abuse it also won't increase it. It will however mean that more real accounts are able to get presents. Obviously dst has an idea to solve this issue, however while I applaud her insight into how to proceed, she has made it obvious she isn't planning on making her solution public in the immediate future. I think a transparent solution would be preferable for the majority of people, hence my suggestion.
22. I keep passwords on the ones I don't want to see, but don't want to get rid of, and just maintaine them all.
23. Look on other music hosting wesites, there are plenty. And yes, that has ALWAYS been my favourite song in MD. I used to listen to it for hours at MP3.
24. If I had to guess, I'd say that it's because they aren't supposed to replace Mur. They are supposed to provide a means for us to get some things done which we can't necessarily do ourselves without having to wait for Mur to do it. There will (sadly) always be things they can't do without talking to Mur. Generally, this would relate to any of the other institutions than have Mur derived Authority within the realm (LHO's (specifically LHO Inquisitor), Kings, etc). In this specific case I would say it is because answering some of the more interesting questions may carry certain unforeseeable-by-the-asker consequences if answered, that run counter to the operating guidelines set by Mur when the council is formed. Could also be part of the reason why the council rotated when it did, I'd be interested to know if the answers where coming from pre- or post-rotation council members. Also +rep to pip for having the audacity to raise that perfectly valid question. Just because a few of us might have a decent theory as to why this is the case, doesn't mean we have any idea what the real reason is. Personally, if that is an answered question it would be one of the ones I would find the most interesting to read the answer to.
25. The offense is the same, just the punishment and who makes the effort is changed.
