there are already separate tools for water, rainwater and mineral water. I imagine the sea water (if it was to be introduced) would be gathered with the same bucket that's used in gathering regular water. After all the process of gathering it is exactly the same.

was kinda hoping for a more heated up discussion :P I'm not sure such support will be enough to get it done, but at least the idea is out there now thank you all who took part :)

For me the lighthouse and the fact that Wraith's Wreck looks more like open see ship is enough to consider that possibility. But introducing sea/salty water is secondary issue in the topic. Adapting the War Hold device is what I'd like to focus the discussion on.

Seeing that there are few different kinds of water as a resource in MD and assuming that they are to have different uses perhaps the device at War Hold could be adapted with ability to interact with different kinds of water? we have water - gathered from lakes, rivers - used in many activities (plant watering, tea brewing, some other recipes) rain water - gathered from rain - atm not very useful (perhaps could be used for watering plants as well? it's kinda silly it can't be used that way) mineral water - gathered from caves and mineral pools - (usefulness of it might be a completely different topic :P) perhaps we also might have sea water - gathered from sea - used in the WH device to get salt from it now for the device at War Hold: rain water + sand + heat = water (filtered or boiled to improve it's quality) water + some kind of dust and/or gas = mineral water lots of sea water + even more heat = water + little bit of salt this is ofc just a rough idea, the final recipes should be more complicated, but what do you think of that?

not sure where the issue can be but apart from occasional freezes I have no issue with running MD on Firefox.

hello. Shemhazaj. Wandering Knight, a druid. MP5 age - fossil (2000+) Principle of Imagination As for a reason: For a long time I have been a Druid in Loreroot, but because of some issues (partly in-game, mostly RL) I have grown apart from the Forest. My illusions were shattered and I went underground and joined SI alliance. For some time I went numb, rarely if ever sen in the realm. But now I'm back and it became clear to me that I need to rethink and refresh my role in MD. I am a druid, that much is not gonna change, but up until now I focused mostly on nature part of circle of life. Now it's time to explore the idea of Otherworld and transition to it just like druids of old used to. The Caretakers seem to be a perfect alliance for that. It would also include occasional druidic festivals/practitions (more or less, but with different focus, like the ones I used to hold in Loreroot back in the old days.) There is one other reason why I chose to apply. It's to explore results of something that happened years ago and was for long forgotten. The reason why Phantasm wrote "A new man with a hint of darkness. His eyes see what others can not in the dark." as a part of my PL.

To clarify. Back when DD started talking about reviving CoE I was GotR leader and DD had my support up until the point when he said that he didn't want to be a part of CoE. He wated to revive it but thee still were no members, let alone leader to give the alliance to. Also DD's loyaty to GotR was never doubted because of that. His plan of reviving CoE failed mostly because of 2 things: 1. it was flawed and 2. DD and Tarq "did not hit it off". There was no partiality then, at least not from my side as a GotR leader. I can't say about situation now. I have seldom visited the realm for more than few moments in past few months and I don't follow any politics now. edit: ps. Shouldn't this topic be more about how/why/why not revive CoE now instead of remembering the problems that made it's revival a failure in the past? Just saying.
