Kittiness has been on her own for 6 months now. She needs to find herself. Windy gave her some food for thought that I believe should give her a new lease on life. Please vote on the voting system so we can gather a certain public concensus on what you feel "should" be the right answer, please also write back with your opinion, as this is also very important in deciding where kittiness and .peace. and the rajj stand on her ownership/price and her belonging to the desert. This may or may not result in her being able to be sold, and if she is there needs to be a public sale for her, to allow a price to be paid by the highest bidder. Please give me your thoughts, including you .peace. and kittiness. i may or not be bidding for kittiness but at the end of the day i feel i cannot be her master, i would like her to be owned by someone who will treat her like a slave, properly, and i will pay for her to be under my ownership to keep her until someone else is found if need be. If anyone would bother reading her menus, they'd know this! Anyway, there should have an ugly bartender competition between all the pubs, bars and Inns! Or just maybe, the cutest Pub owner...which would be Wendy. Bunny Wunny would only win if he was furry all over and not mental...er metal.

A player whom I respect very much, but due to RL issues, has not been able to be in MD as much as required. I do not want to take it away from her, but the dojo needs an active leader, and unfortunately she is not active. Sagewoman looks like the ideal candidate, but Shadowseeker has also challenged the dojo for the position of leader. The leadership issue must be settled fast so that any changes that needs to be made can be done quickly. Unfortunately the only person who can really decide on the leadership falls in the lap of Mur. Calyx consulted and discussed with Mur during the inception and its only fair, if there is a change of leadership, Mur is consulted as well. The dojo is not an alliance but a place to help newbies learn the ropes of the game. Please keep this in mind when replying to this thread, the dojo started with the objective to help the newbies. It does not help to flame or to start getting emotional. By all means make changes. By all means demand for changes. But do not forget how much the dojo has helped newbies. I myself has benefited from dojo when I was always attacked whenever I tried to make a rit. I did not have a single friend in MD until the dojo started. We are strong now, the MP5s are suppose to be strong, but please do not forget the new and the weak. [/quote] I have read both sides of the issue and it has opened my eyes. Yes. The dojo needs to be updated as all communities must update or rebuild themselves. Point 1: Too many players use the dojo for the wrong reason. Point 2: No one is teaching the concepts of setting rituals. Point 3: Banning players for violating the rules and/or idea of the dojo is too severe. Point 4: MP5s do not need protection at the dojo. Point 5: Need there be any more? Point 6: Mur created a prison for a reason. I think that the MRs have the correct idea at GGG. All the rules and explainations are right there on the attending staff member's hate page. They have the power to look at your rit and let you know if it is set wrong. They teach you how to set the rituals and what each one does. The dojo staff should do so as well. I do not think that the staff memebers should just sit there and send the "This is a dojo, violators will be" speech in the chat evertime it recycles. It falls along as spamming the chat thing. All new players should be made aware of the dojo at birth inside the paper cabin. Just some food for thought.

Blood Prince was a habitual violator and should have been dealt with a long time ago. Anyone who continues to break the rules deserves the same. I think everyone forgets that Mur sanctioned the dojo's to begin with. I believe that if he thought the ban was extreme, he would not have given the dojo staff the ability to do so. As far as playing the villian....violating the dojo rules has nothing to do with that role play. Dojos are not intended to extend the role playing process. It is intended for people to learn combat stategies with their creatures. But I do believe that banning the player from the game is extreme, nonetheless. He should have been sent to the Prison that Mur and his staff worked so hard to create and then labled a criminal as Fenrir was.

I am going to have to agree with Chewy on this one. The saying goes, "The road to hell is paved with good intensions". There is always the potential for someone to mess it up for the rest of us. I think that this idea is a good one but a risky one. Have you spoken to Mur about this? This is something that he should take care of, not us.

I've started a fun role play with Kafuuka called The adult conspiracy. Great fun! I would like to see how far this goes. If you haven't read Pierce Anthony's Xanth series, let me explain. It is a magical world based in the swamps of Florida...sort of...Anyway..I digress... The adults work very hard not to speak of adult things around minors..called The adult conspiracy. Things like "summoning the stork" aka sex. Closely guarded. I mentioned this around Kafuuka and he thinks it is a nefarious plot and considers me dangerous and non-trustworthy. So....adults who would like to participate...speak in hushed tones around Kafuuka about The adult conspiracy and "summoning the stork" and watch Kafuuka's reaction. Minors...get with Kafuuka and introduce yourselves and mention that you would like to join his plan to break the adult code. This should be great fun! Just remember, keep it clean and fun. We do not hurt people or say things that should not be said.... Adults, please contact me with the Title of The Adult Conspiracy, which is one of my titles. Minors do the same for Kafuuka. I don't believe in giving MP3's any creatures at all. They need to earn them just like we did. We worked played/worked hard to get where we all are in this game. They can do the same.
