Four years in and I've discovered a new feature.  If you're looking in either inventory system (menu on left, or panel on right) and use a find-on-page key stroke (command-F on a mac) either menu will scroll to the location of the found text.  You don't have to page through all that junk to find the one thing you're looking for!
  3. Thanks

Fyrd Argentus reacted to Nep in Crit with shard storage missing shard menu after transfer
Fyrd gave me a winderwild with 1000 shards embedded, but after transfer it is missing the shard menu:

    Crit IDs: 883013, 883025.
As you can see, it shows that it has shards embedded, but the shard menu is missing.
I did not spend a gold coin to keep their levels, so maybe that caused the problem, but I can't be sure.

The Anniversary is a time for formal events and one of these is the signing and approval of the formal MagicDuel Title Documents.
Mur and I have prepared this one to be issued on the 17th Anniversary of MagicDuel.

This document gives full rights over all decisions relating to the land of Loreroot in Aia's role as Queen. This is awarded after gaining the respect and support of the land and the MagicDuel Community.
This is dated Day 49, Year 17 which is the official date her reign began.
Aia will have the chance to claim the document and have it sent to her or have it stored in the MagicDuel vaults for the time being.

Oh Majestic Emperor of the unseen Bacons. With this, I present you with my humble looking dish, that cannot be missed at any feast. Alhough it looks simple, but do not underestimate it! A whole civilisation had to emerge, flourish and go in decay just to create this so simple and yet so tasty dish. It took almost 3 days to prepare and I believe me, I hate that cannot convey any smells and sounds as these were unbelievable. So...let us start
Ingredients you need are simple...some water, some flour, just a small pinch of yiest (unfortunately my sourdough is on vacation at the moment so I had to use some conventional yiest). Stir and wait...
When your new civilization is at rise, give it some more food to grow on - some flour, some water, some love, stir it well and let the magic do its work...

Fold your baby...at this point it needs a lot of care and patience but you will see how it changes and grows in return...

Once again fold it, mould it and wait until your very own civilization comes to flourish

And now, when it is on its best...its time for...the end of the world...make the fire do its job and enjoy unbelievable smell.

Once its done, you will be left with unbelievable, indulgent sinful loaf of bread...heritage of decayed world, essence of Shade Sentinel its midst that you can so shamefully and lustfully devour with a bit of butter and a pinch of salt...not much more is needed. Enjoy

So we start with the visit at the stone. You  leave the area, leave the land. Take a turn through No Man's Land. Take another turn in Marind Bell. Wave at the Shades from the Passage of War. Turn around and back out to the Archive Gardens.
You visit the librarian, you build a fort out of books, you get kicked out. You sneak around to the back, poke some orbs in the garden. You turn some more, throw a coin into the fountain. Continue and throw your fists in the air outside the puzzle. You leave the Garden. You take a turn at the maze.
You get lost in the maze. You get lost some more. Take a wrong turn. Take a right turn. Take more right turns. You find a way out. You try to jump and touch Mt. Kelle'tha.
You climb down a mountain, cross a bridge, climb a different mountain. You get tired of the mountain. You walk down the mountain like a normal being. You get distracted by a cave. Get chased out of a cave. Swear vengeance upon inhabitants of the cave. You get down to the beach. You kick the base of a lighthouse. You kick the base of a bunch of pillars. You hobble away like kicking everything did not hurt. It did hurt. You cross another bridge. You leave the land of footy hurty.
You take the same turn when entering No Man's Land again. You avoid people. You keep going. You punch a tree. You punch a tree. You decide to stop being silly and walk through the arch. You meander. You stop at a bar. You admire the architecture. You try to climb a tree, and fall out of the tree. You climb the bigger tree. It's easier somehow. You admire the sky. You admire the lake. You'd rather be by the lake. You go swim in the lake. You leave the way you did not come in.
You find a path you recognize in the gardens. You leave the gardens. You cut back through Marind Bell. You do not make faces at the egg in the lake. You maybe make a few faces at the egg in the lake. You actually leave the Bell. You take the road out that you haven't used yet. You add a brick to the old gate. You jump the ravine between the stone and the passage. You enter the Tribunal. You climb the stairs. You add facial hair to the statues at the top. You creep out the back. You go down stairs. You sit in a pub. You climb more stairs. Everything is stairs. You're at a temple - it is not a temple to stairs. But there are more stairs - it should be a temple to stairs. You go down the stairs. You admire more architecture. You drink some tea. You decide the architecture is not worth the stairs.
You leave the land of stairs. It is exactly as you remember. Up stairs, both ways. You check if you are a fossil. There is no shame in being a fossil.
You think that it's been a while since you saw the Shades. So you turn around and go back to the land of the Shades. The cycle starts again

The leaving to returning is a week.

When I was young (yeah, I am not young anymore ) I was shy and not confident in my abilities. I was afraid to take credit for what I did and others, somehow, always seemed to be better, smarter, more succesful. Through a number of very tough challenges, challenges that were close to break me completely, I learned something new. I learned- I can do (almost) anything. Only limitations I have are those in my head - my thoughts, my rules, my beliefs. Some - set by myself, others - planted in by culture, family, friends etc. This realization gave a feeling of being (almost) superhuman. And, oh dear, I abused this feeling! For many years it carried me around, allowed me to do things I (and people around me) never thought possible. Until one day I realized how tired I actually am. Being driven by my mission, realizing that I have many possibilities I fought as if there was no tomorrow. Until I stopped. The "almost" of being an "almost huperhuman" got back at me and hit me hard. It took time and effort to realize that boundaries, that I so carelessly get rid of years ago, were not only limiting my actility. At the same time they were protecting me from destroying myself. I also realized that people love superheroes, because with a superhero around they can lean back and do nothing.
So now I am trying to find a healthy balance between my possibilities and limits, which in itself presents a big challenge. Setting boundaries to myself feels like limiting my freedom, feels like failing. It takes a lot of mental and physical work to say NO, to get some rest instead of go head over heels to be able to stripe away another item off my endless to-do list. Still I force myself to do it, because only when I am healthy and sane I can function, be happy and make people around me happy.
                                                                 Sincerely,  not-so-superhuman Eara

I grew up in a very toxic family environment, which resulted in a serious inferiority complex, among other things. After I grew up and started working, I have noticed that I'm simply... doing better than the people who were criticizing me all my life, and the people I was compared to all my life. And not even by a small margin. Shockingly, it wasn't even that hard. And, I'm just getting started...
After some years, the people criticizing me started to die off, or wrecked their own lives in various ways. The cousins I was "competing" with are all living underwhelming lives, and I hardly meet them anymore. It's as if their opinions never mattered in the first place.
Basically what I learned is that you shouldn't define yourself based on what others think. Though this can be hard when you are still a child and don't have any point of reference apart from your immediate environment. You define what you can and can't achieve. Since most people are not actors, but only reactors to outside events, you can make an awful lot of change in the world just by putting some effort in it every day.

Bacon Emperor I know you do not deal in mercy... but I have limited resources available! Please... will you have mercy on me this year and accept this humble offering?
I call it... Bàcon à la Noodlé
First, you need to go and hunt down some elusive Samyang™ HOT&SPICY Flavor (sic) Bowl Noodle Soup. Other brands are available, but performance is not guaranteed.

Second, you need to carefully follow the instructions on the packaging, adding the seasoning and THEN the hot water. It does not work as well the other way around!

Thirdly, you need to allow the noodles to brew. I use my water stained cutlery to do the job, although I hear there are more decorative utensils that do the same job. I wouldn't know anything about that though!

Nearly there! While it brews, rummage around your nearly empty cooling device for some genuine ready to eat Grasan Bacon. Pose it nicely for the camera. Make sure to shut out the voice that makes you question how you got to this stage in your life.

Finally, put the enitre block of Grasan Bacon in the noodles, whole. Bon Appétit!

So, the hot winderwild wings I have promised... Here is what we are gonna use:

    Namely:
    - 6-7 wings (I used 5 for this one because mine are fairly large - just means there will be some leftover sauce)
    - a pinch of salt & black pepper (salt is not on this pic because I forgot)
    - 4 tablespoons of honey
    - about half a cup of Sriracha hot sauce from the uhh... EAST (that is about 1,1 milliliters in my estimation)
    - 4 tablespoons of soy sauce
    - 4 teaspoons of sesame seed oil
    - 4 cloves of garlic
    - 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar (can be rice vinegar or something else but this is what I prefer)
    - some olive oil (we will need about 2 tablespoons in our frying pan)
We start with preparing the wings like so:

Cut them in half like that... I fed the tips to the knators because they aren't the best for this recipe.
    Next up, mince the garlic:

Now mix it together in a bowl with the ingredients listed above, and give it a good stir:

Next up, put your wings in a bowl or some kind of food container and add about half of the sauce we have just prepared:

Cover it with a lid and put it in your fridge for 1 hour... You can leave it overnight but 1 hour should be enough.
Once that is done, add the olive oil to your frying pan and start frying the wings on medium / medium-high heat. We will do this for about 15 minutes. Make sure to turn the wings every 2-3 minutes, and use a lid in-between or else your stove will look like mine.
    Here how we start:

I prefer to start with the skinny side down but it's not that important. After a while some of the wings may start to get seared, but don't be afraid, this is actually good for you:

...obviously you don't want it completely carbonated. If you feel like you are going too fast, you can turn down the heat a bit.
After the 15 minutes is up, add the other half of the sauce to the wings. This will give it a nice glaze.

You can turn up the heat here as long as you don't go overboard. Continue to fry it until the glaze is nice and thick:

I used less wings here so we have some more left over but we can use that as a dip for our fries or whatever.
Here is how it should look like by the end, more or less:

Get them out on a plate:

...then eat it. You can use any side dish but sometimes I just prefer to eat them like this. Enjoy!

I normally make soup when I sac a winderwild (due to lack of amenities) but when I'm home, this is what I do.
First pic is the ingredients - salt, pepper, peppercorns, garlic, honey, sprigs of rosemary and thyme (they overwintered well - in summer use sage & oregano too), a little oil for brushing on to make the seasoning stick, and of course a freshly sacced winderwild.

Second pic shows the lemons must be juiced through a strainer and the garlic must be smashed & peeled (in that order or it's a mess).

Third & fourth show most of the ingredients in the bottom and the winderwild on a rack above, and into the Ninja cooker - on pressure setting (pic 5) 40 minutes.

Pic 6 shows the steamed winderwild, which is brushed with oil then salt & pepper (pic 7) then run on air fry for another 15 minutes.

The final pic shows the finished product - a wonderful roasted winderwild.  Serve with your choice of vegetable, bread, salad, and/or dessert.
