Yesterday night dst defeated Jubaris in a very nice match. Moments ago, Dark Demon dueled against Faceless Noob... echoes of their magic still permeate the ground at the Howling Gates. Time will tell who was the best...

Ledah, Ailith, jakubhi? I need you to pick a number please. I'll be online for the first round of duels on monday 31st (gather at the howling gates, I'll try to be there all day long). If you can't attend on monday, no big issue. For each couple of duelers we'll find a suitable day and timeframe.

Within the next few days Aethon and I will be pairing the opponents, then we'll be asking your time schedules and availability. The winner of the contest will choose first, then the 2nd, the 3rd and the 4th.

Greetings Magic Duellers, for this year's Halloween I'm willing to organize a spellcasters tournament, open to everybody. Contestants are required to set nice spell-words for their favorite spells (MD spells - either regenerable or spell stones). Each contestant will "battle" against another - direct elimination - using one cast of one spell of their choice. In each battle, 2 judges will rate your magic arts under these criteria: 1- how fancy/inspiring/evocative your spell words are; 2- how appropriate your spell words are to the actual spell; (e.g., "may the fleas of a 1000 camels infest your armpits" might be appropriate for a "attack-lock" spell, but not for a "mirror ritual"...) 3- how much Halloween feeling you managed to put in your magic. The contestant with highest score wins and passes the turn. Each contestant may only use a combination of spell / spell-words once: if they pass the turn, they have to battle either with another spell or with different spell-words. To apply, post here your name and ID by 21 October. After that date, there will be a random matching to determine who fights against whom in the first turn. Rewards will depend on the number of applications, if 8 or above I'll toss in a Horseman creature for the winner.

The extreme diversity of dogs and hounds known to mankind is mirrored in Hell by a vast carousel of hobbling aberrations. With very few exceptions, Hell Hounds are the result of the wildest experiments on animal remains, sometimes pushed even further by the incorporation of mechanical devices. It's not always a question of insanity, or evilness... sometimes it's just necessity. Being Hell so chaotic, it's incredibly hard to find a complete carcass to re-animate. Although paradoxical, Demons follow Zen's precept "work with what you have": the lack of resources counterbalanced only by the most vivid imagination. Rufus - the wheeled squid-hound A good example of what can be found down below, Rufus is a horned skeletal hound whose anterior paws have been grafted with squid-like tentacles. Furthermore, its posterior comprehends wheels and a horrid scorpion tail. Although confusing, it is usually referred to as a front-wheel drive beast. Trudy - the basset tank Trudy is very cute, but extremely deadly in narrow spaces. The head of a basset hound has been provided with a unicorn horn and mounted on caterpillar's tracks, in order for him to chase on any ground. Poldo - the flying chiwawa Don't underestimate this one! Because of his small size, the butterfly wings can take him anywhere, unnoticed, and he really loves to scare the crap out of people. Usually you realize it's there only when he is 2 inches far from your face. He has a rat tail and a very high-pitched voice.

You are both right. Blackshade's personal item isn't going to be dear to anybody else, therefore it's not a "valid" sacrifice. On the other hand, I would encourage (authentic) new players to visit Necrovion. Hint: the heat requirement is ridiculously low for MP3 players... cough - 1 heat stone - cough

Not only, you also have No one's word. He knows very well he was online, otherwise he couldn't have ranted he was passed an item but saw nobody in the scene. But I understand it's easier to throw mud all around and yell "abuse" or "bias" every time things don't go as you wanted.
