I was uploading some avys to shop, as friend custom request, but somehow after asked to send original draw by mail, I dont remember with new upload option was pressed, also dont remember how much $ have before upload, the only true is that both avys customized goes shop among the others, instead my vault. About 2 weeks ago, I went a mail to the council with a question concerning avatars/item drawings drawn with a pen tablet. I was wondering if pen tables should be used for avatars or not. Hey all! I have a little confusion. I don't want this to come across as a super impatient type thing, I am just generally more confused and want to make sure i do this right. Here is the deal: I uploaded a new avatar. I wanted it to replace my current one (Though if I could keep my current in my vault that would be neat too). So I selected use as personal. As many of you know you can customize Firefox to look the way you want using Personas. I was looking through the 4e DND Monster Manual III today, and found an entry on page 54 for the creature Corrupted Glutton. The artwork for this creature is almost completely identical to that of the Grasan II. This particular edition of the Monster Manual was first released on June 15, 2010, however the image may have been recycled from an earlier edition. Since this image is copyrighted by Wizards of the Coast, it would be a good idea to find out which came first and why they look so identical. I doubt this applies to any artworks on MD, as I have not seen any pieces that are in the MD style (I have not gone through very much though). However, if you publish artworks on DA or any other internet site that are in the same style as the other stolen artworks, I would suggest looking into this if you haven't already as the work of almost 600 artists has been identified as stolen, with more being identified quite often. I have been searching for a few hours on ways to prevent stolen avatars from being entered into the MD Universe. With a few trial and errors, I have found a few sites that offer reverse image recognition searches. While not perfect, these sites do offer a way to protect MD against things of this nature. I have done a few searches with these sites, and have found about a 50% success rate of finding these images. It's not perfect, but it does sort of work. I suggest the council or who ever deals with the avatars look into these sites. I have a list if needed.

I decided to mess around and sketch an idea I had for an avatar. I'm really new to this game, so I was looking for some advice on how to make this better. I know I still need to make it translucent and I probably need to clean up some linework. Any other suggestions, thoughts? Am I on the right track? I recently uploaded my avatar, but it got rejected quoting "not MD style". What would you recommend to change in the avatar to increase its chances of acceptance? I would really like to have a sea bird as my avatar in the game.

Well, I've finally started drawing some decent avatars, and I thought I'd share them here. Also, I'm planning to make this a topic where I will add my work and let people suggest how to make it better... Or even make suggestions towards what I should draw. I just want to know few things. What "not MD style" means? What "too bumpy" means? Is "too bumpy" the opposite of "too faded"? I try to correct a too faded avi, but it was tagged as "too bumpy" after.

Hi, I personally feel that browsing through the avatar list to be made free, so that the player can browse and get his fav avatar. He doesnt have to waste his credit. For a free credit person like me, a single credit is very important. Can it be made a scrollable page? -dragonrider
