Apologies for the double post, but this is somewhat separate from the above-
For those interested in inventing recipes:
Go wild. Whip up poisonous serums, strength enhancers, decorative amusements, medicinal poultices, cement, fruitcake, potting soil, leather, glass bottles (which were actually planned), polish, or something I wouldn't dream of.
No, recipes are not the silver bullet of healing that will revive MD.
Yes, too many recipes would make this realm a much less enjoyable place to be.
Please, don't class this as a spoiler and hide it away where nobody finds it.
Sure, maybe it should take some effort for people to make recipes, but it appears that the barrier is currently too high.
Certainly, there's a vast amount going on behind the scenes that I don't know about.
Yes, I want to see people be creative with this.

If you would like to suggest a... reward or a punishment for not completing the challenge, do so.
So, I am left to assume that this quest was another waste of everybody's time because Seigheart/Fenrir's rewards have always been questionable at best. If you have not planned a reward/punishment for a quest where the interesting bit is the reward/punishment, then simply do not run it until you are ready. If you really did have a reward planned, PLEASE tell me now and spare me further frustration. I hate to see anyone who put in the effort (however minimal) to run a quest go with such questionable and, quite frankly, stupid rewards. "I might buy you a steam game but instead you just get a silver coin haha".
Apologies for the rant, but I felt it needed to be said.

What i would like is this :
An item called "Box of Dice". On use it will produce items called "Pouch of dice" (either without limit , or at least able to produce 6 pouches at any given time) . Those pouches then could be passed to any player and have a limited time duration (6h) , after which they return to the box. When a player opens a pouch, he/she would receive 7 dice : d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20, d100 .After the 6h duration for the pouches have passed, dice will return to the pouch and then the pouches to the box. As for box cool down (although i don't find it really necessary ) , maybe something like 18 or 24 uses that regenerate with every spell reset.
And since we can be creative as well, here is something else (have no idea if it can be coded ). I would like for each set of dice produced for a pouch to have a specific color. (example, pouch 1 produces red dice, pouch 2 green etc ..) Each die result will appear in chat exactly the same way as the shared ones, but in it's corresponding color.
Now why would i want something like that ? Well, i've had an idea some months ago , which may be a source of future quests. Not sure if this could work out really, but in order to make my life easier, such an item would be of great help

Valldore Nal reacted to Kaya in 365 Ideas
A number of ideas:
A scavenger hunt, several items hidden all over MD, each item gives a certain reward, and the player who collects most items gets a bonus. -I will leave it up to someone else to work out the details, if they're interested.
General scene/creature makeover contests. While for some the theme could be announced long before for others it might be announced only 2 days before the deadline, or perhaps if you hold several over one day you could hold contests during only one hour. -Feel free to pick this up, though I wouldn't mind working it out myself either.
Recipe making contests, get people to write a cauldron recipe for a certain item and the best will get his recipe implemented. Alternatively, get people to cook/make something in RL and describe how they did it, accompanied with some pictures, as a reward the best results will get the means to make their creations in game. -Going to work this out some more myself, though any comments are welcome.

Valldore Nal reacted to DarkRaptor in 365 Ideas
Could it be possible without raising too much spoilers to have a "Scene of The Day"?
I think it could be very interesting to all newcomers to know and actually see how vast is MD, one scene per day.
The scene could be displayed with a short description and it would be also nice if some older player(s) could be around to answer any extra questions about it. ( avoiding all sorts of spoilers beyond the scene itself ofc)

Right now as far as i know not voting == negative vote. i'd suggest something like this: not voting == 50%-70% of your loyalty as negative
That's not quite correct .

Valldore Nal got a reaction from Eon in CITIZENSHIP by Crash Test Dummy
The Total Active Landscore consists of 4 factors .
Those that have voted positive, those that have voted negative, those that haven't voted at all, and those that chose to abstain. In order to calculate the number of land score needed to be accumulated so that the vote will be successful you abstract from the total landscore the value of those abstained.
So yeah, it may not be directly mentioned, but the actual value for those that chose not to vote but neither to abstain is the "null" value. Neg landscore includes only those that voted against that vote

I've requested such a list somewhere else, but it got buried by no response, and I am in no mood to keep pushing for things atm/code it myself. Bugs said it could be done as a coder project, but with my bachelor thesis in work right now, I just have no mood for that.

Yes, i'm familiar with your other post regarding citizens lists. Well, if the only way to get such a list (including loyalty scores ) is through db (the only ppl i can think of having access to it would be council, mur, bugs and rendril), we will have to wait until a feature is implemented for showing that.
