  1. If you remember, I have sent some Christmas Cards in 2017 as well. Anyone could have gotten one if they asked for and provided an address where to ship it.

Nava asked for one as well. I said sure and put them on the list. I sent the card together with the rest. And surprise surprise! The card returned because "Invalid address".

Really? And I mean REALLY? It's not about money or time. It's a simple thing called Common Sense. I don't know what they tried to achieve. I have sent cards to people I disliked in the game in the past and everything went well. But NEVER have I gotten a card back because of issues with address.

So as much as I hate to say this, I will start being more picky with people I will send cards from now on. It seems that some have not a single shred of common sense in them.

    Nava, you're an a**hole.

  2. I'll answer cause I have the same question:

We have 2 items: Bottled emotions - uncommon

                                   Player's bottled emotions - personal

Question was/is: was this setup intended or is it a "bug"? Maybe Mur forgot he put the "Player's bottled emotions" into play so he released the original item once more.

  3. I was in GG in drach cave when it occur to me to test the 2 toys since this place is sort of special (sanctuary, items dispatch, no jump, etc etc).

The Toy rollerblades which were supposed to move me a small distance didn't work - there was no error message but it didn't move me either. However, the use was consumed (instead of 2 I now have 1 use). No idea if this was intended or not but at least to get one of the red warnings in Trigger saying: this doesn't work!

Toy skateboard - this one provided a clear error: "Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/magicdue/public_html/ui/marketitems/inc.boxpage_ui.php on line 86. This is defo an issue. How is it supposed to work in such "special" conditions? No freaking idea...

If Rophs somehow comes back online and can supply my Adepts then that works too.

What is this? Don't the new players have fingers to type and brains to think for themselves? Why can't the ones that need something ASK by themselves (in forum if in MD they might not have the proper tools yet)?

Wiiya is not MANDATORY. Anyone can play without wiiya without any single issue. Then there is ALWAYS the free market if you someone MUST have wiiya.

I know it's easier to demand stuff than actually work for them or work for a way to get them. Beggars...

  5. I would show the messages where the tag is "strict" cause it means there are less people there and show them in any other place.

Also, maybe I would adjust the numbers for what is considered "strict" due to the current low population so 5 would not mean "strict".

  6. Actually, role playing the AL is not that fun. Why would you role-play something that was already "played"?

I would like more to see a quest similar to what Nimmy did 2 years ago (I think) with the murder mystery dinner - i think it was a dinner...murder...mystery :D ( cannot find the link right now): assigned roles to players and few guidelines, we RPed and in the end we were also asked to find the murderer. It was awesome!

Rejecting adepts makes sense and achieves same thing.

Mno...rejecting adepts means the path to MP6 only gets harder or even impossible at one point given the current player base. It does make sense and it's reasonable but then it's not in the subject's best interest.

  8. I am sending them this year too. Handmade! as I found a bit of time and inspiration and created few of them during one rainy Sunday.

One is for Chew and for sure one will be for Nimmy so 2 down.

If anyone else wants one, PM me on the forum with your address.

I plan to ship them during the first week of December.

  9. I like it and I raise you another useless but fun in my head idea: how about instead of giving the items to TK, some sort of a raffle is organized (there are way too many possibilities to list here regarding on how to draw the winners) and one or several people walk out with a bunch of goodies or a huge load of junk :D

  10. Nava awarded a WP to blackshade for the below reason:

    Quote

For becoming the Voice of the Dead and working with Mur to allow for self-sustaining Undead.  This allows for a whole range of adventures and roleplay. I believe that his role as Voice of the Dead can boost the roleplaying atmosphere in MD and therefore would like to aid him in strengthening that role by providing this wishpoint.

Does this mean that now I can award WPs to whoever I want for whatever reason I find fit?

If yes, then I shall start awarding some WPs. If not, please do the needful.

    What do you think dst?

    ----

My post is to come, I need to sleep, sorry!

It can be a temp solution to our current depopulation. I also see it (if coded in a smart way) quite dynamic: the "shop" to be adjusted based on certain factors (some brainstormed ideas below):

    - if there are more MP3s logged in, the cost of the items increases, if there are less, cost decreases

    - certain things can be available only in certain parts of MD (encourage travel)

    - certain things can be available only when for example an MP4 or an MP5 (or a combination of numbers of those MPs) are online - same for the costs

    - as MP3s age, more items are available (but maybe at a higher price)

    - i still like my achievements idea  as it's done based on MDs history and can be a good way of teaching people about the past in order not to repeat the same mistakes :D (yes, there are tons of stuff I'd do differently - in a worse way, of course!)
