  1. It's possible; the only thing you need to do is damage or heal yourself 15% before killing the enemy. Or you don't really have to kill your enemy's creature, but make sure there is a 35% difference between whatever percent you heal or get hurt and however much the enemy is damaged (or healed, although that would be a pretty odd fight). Am I making sense here? Although I'll tell you that you can do it either way, I'll leave it up to you to figure out how. That's strategy EDIT: Morgana's quick.. and also explicit. EDIT2: Spoiler links are useful
  2. It was one day of work.. that's more than what Killerplox has gotten in two days. >_>
  3. I lost about 120 points
  4. Hmm~ 1) I don't know.. I think whoever has the heads is supposed to be the most strategic. Otherwise, it would be just the oldest players or those who farm stats daily who would win. This way, players can't get heads with brute force. And you can get victories from people with really weak def rituals, you just need to use strategy. 2) Well, I dislike it when people log off and never come back on just to stop others from getting heads, not to keep heads and increase score. But at the same time, I think it would be unfair for those who have to spend time away from MD. 3) Once people have 7 heads, you can attack them in sanctuaries. Isn't that what you meant? 4) I like this one.
  5. You are the attacker, right? It could be that someone attacked you afterwards and the log of it was erased through an existant loophole. It's a kind of touchy subject because that loophole is related to a secret feature, so I'll just leave it for you to discover. Otherwise, I can't think of how this would happen.
  6. *will mope for a while*
  7. If your ritual has less than 301 VE without vit bond and combos, then a random ritual is selected.
  8. There is. At least for now. From murky and unreliable memory, I think the cap is a value around 2000. EDIT: a cap on principles is unconfirmed, although there is one on how much you can gain in storymode (200)
  9. Well, it would still be fair to keep the points gained, rather than completely resetting.. and people like me, who spent the whole day on this affair, would appreciate it. It's not really easy to get 100 heads. I understand that it'd be less of a hassle to just reset, but then at least could the heads stay with whoever gathered it? x) I got more than 120 points today, too..
  10. There are a few possibilities: 1) Muloki attacked you before you moved to the sanctuary, and the notification took a while to appear 2) Muloki clicked the "Attack this player for ___ honor" option before you moved and attacked you after you got into the sanctuary 3) You had a certain number of heads (over 6, or some similar value) which enables the attacking option within the sanctuary. Was Muloki in the sanctuary at the same time as you?
  11. Well, I'm pretty sure most who care about the head contest have already noticed that the scores from the previous contest carried over to this one, but I'd like to create a topic anyway so I can express my hope: can the points we got since the contest started be saved? I don't want the scores completely zeroed, since I used effort gathering heads just in case they wouldn't be and gained around 40 points in the meantime, probably more by the time action is taken. Also, many mp3s and some others who apparently didn't participate in the last contest (like Laz.. XD) had no idea that the scores were carried over and also spent time gathering heads. This is assuming that this was a bug and Manu didn't intend to have the scores carried over. That would be unfair, because then it would give previous contestants an advantage over new players or those who opted not to last time because they were too weak or focusing on something else.
  12. I know, I was referring to both of you. x) I feel the need to meet the standards of not just Yami. Oh no! Lulu... well, though what you came up with does look horrid, I can't lose to you by not contributing at all. You may anticipate a beauteous piece to arrive soon. Or eventually.
  13. Morgana, you have a magical power to make one think deeply about his or her own actions. x) *tends to see certain person logging on and then off quietly in area all of a sudden since this morning* LJ, Morgana is one of several rpcs, which stands for roleplaying characters. She has riddles and puzzles you can solve regularly for ingame prizes, so watch out for changes in her profile. (magicduel.com/players/Morgana_Le_Fay) They're the same people in the adventure log sidebar on the right, or at least some of them are in it. This game makes you think
  14. Mm, don't worry about possible truth in those most inspirational words of Sacosphilz. As you become one of the older and more experienced players, competition will grow and become more challenging. And there's always the part about participating in privileged testing, joining the live help team, becoming a mod or rpc, ect. There is always more involvement with the progression of time and toil~ I don't mean to sound worried, of course.
  15. Hello~ Feel free to ask questions if you wish. It can be frustrating as a new player but as you progress it gets more and more fun.
  16. Looking again, it should be 24 active days. x) Got mixed up there with the light and dark arrows. I think it should be within certain people's administrative powers to give creatures of a level greater than that when recruited normally to an account, but I wouldn't know if that's the case here. I think someone said that creatures gain age even if you aren't active?
  17. This has happened to some people since the new skin was imported. I don't know if it's related to the web browser you're using. You can change it back at the bottom of the page, you know, where it has a droplist. You have Enlighten (Import) selected. I can use the new skin without any problems (with Mozilla Firefox). Lulu can't.
  18. Oooh! What should I counter artistic and musical ability with? I don't have anything :') I think you should've done it in black and white. Would've looked cooler, yeah.
  19. Well, one thing I know does change is the percent of VE you give your creatures in one click. I think for each adept you gain another 8%.. so if you get a lot so that for each click you give more than 100%, you could heal your creatures more than you actually give More features for adepts are supposed to be added "soon," but I don't know Manu's concept of "soon."
  20. Huh.. wouldn't that be around 16 days? Does he look like he might be a rpc or something?
  21. It's summer! *never sees this person in magicduel*
  22. I think he means the unresponsive tree Bob, not the name. @_@ Bob will not cooperate with me either.
  23. Hmm, well at Ren's prompting, I tested it out myself. It really does seem like a bug, and an odd one to me. I took screenies with my great foreseeing powers, so I'm posting them with wonderful explanation. 1) 2) 3) 4) 1) my original stats: 94 ap and 30 xpl; you can also see my friends list (in the next two screenshots I delete Lulu, Metal Bunny and phlegmtheorem in order ) 2) now I have 74 ap, which is right and fine as deleting friends is supposed to take 20 ap, but I also gained 59 xpl. O_O That's quite a lot... esp. considering I wasn't supposed to gain any at all but lose 5. 3) once again, I lose 20 ap. I expected to gain 50 xpl, but I instead lose 20. The screenshot looks like it cut off the bars in two places; in case it's hard to read, the 54/100 bar is "Action points," and the bar under "Exploring points" is supposed to be 69/30. 4) after Ren mentions losing 20 xpl each time he does it more than once in a row, I try after the counter resets and gain 20 xpl. Ren's tested a couple of times. He tried 4 times in a row, and after the first one (gained 65 xpl, shown in first screenshot in his post) he kept on losing 20 xpl. I think that this stops once the counter resets, although I only tested it once. It also seems like the value you gain is random for the first removal. Although for the last two times I gained/loss a multiple of ten, the first time I gained 59, a prime number. Ren says got 67 (or something similar) and 42 once each. EDIT: fixed some errors X) ty to Ren for pointing out that I gained 59, not 50.. *needs to start wearing glasses again* I also took a look at the screenshots and noticed that the bars in the third one were cut off in some places.
  24. Well, I think that this alpha stage is focused on chapter 3, right? Although there isn't a definite timeline to follow, it is the priority and will come before anything else, whether that be months or years.. even though there seems to be a lot of testing for different things and unrelated events occurring... heh.. Well, erm, anyway Faraday, what do you want honor for? Right now I don't have any use for it, except that I might want to buy some items in the MD Shop which costs a few hundred.
