Something important to note is that while yes, you can get to MP5 in no time at all, you do that because of players that have already spent months - or even years - to get there.

Newer players will always get further at a faster rate because they have the groundwork done by the previous players. It this same principle by which humans have been able to develop so much.

Rendril reacted to Junior in Wish To Buy Bestiaries
Lets see.... Topic title does say it all but theres a quandary... How do i go about buying them? I noticed that the Bestiary Items are "No Transfer" but after Speaking to Rendril he said they might be able to transfer via the ITC. So back to the topic whos selling theirs? Who can "wish" themselves one and get me one? I need a total of 5 bestiary items. I will wish 1 for myself leaving me with 4 upside down. I have no clue what a Bestiary is worth but being as how you must spend a WP to get one, i assume the prices might be high.

However what i can offer is.

The first one to contact me with an offer Gets a choice between either a Young GG Drach or a Young Rein or a Rusty with 15+ Tokens or a Coin amount between 0-150SC.

The Second to contact me would get the left overs of the first person be it either the GG or Rein or Rusty or a Coin amount between 0-150SC.

The Third Person to contact me would get the left overs of the first two people be it either the GG or Rein or Rusty or a Coin amount between 0-150SC.

The Fourth person can choose from the Left Overs of the first three people, that being the GG or Rein or Rusty or a Coin amount between 0-150SC

These are mainly the things i can offer for people's Bestiary....(If they are even Transferable)

So contact me first and you get the prime choice out of the goodie bag

    -Junior

Edit- to point something out... I Get Neg Rep for making a topic HAHA grow up as if Neg Rep signified anything.
Edit- Confirmation on the transferability of the Bestiary Items via the ITC

or some kind of reparations if the first is not possible.

If you are willing to pay these reparations then this is simple negotiations.

Rendril reacted to Tarquinus in What annoys me in MD
Ideas gain momentum, and there is a sort of 'survival of the fittest' aspect to any new idea. As others have said above, tenacity is really important - if you abandon your idea too easily, no matter whether the criticism is constructive or not, it didn't deserve to survive. Curry is right to say that people trying to effect change should be responsive to the public reaction, but some ideas have taken hold mostly because certain players wouldn't let them go. Bob the Tree is a great example: when I first learned about it, and the role inherited (I think) by Zleiphnir, I thought it was absurd. "He's guarding a squiggle on a backdrop!" I said. But though people have had varying opinions about the tree, its reality, and its relevance, none of it has broken Zleiphneir's dedication, and he built a very strong little community... around a squiggle. That's impressive. The Children of the Eclipse, mostly the brainchild (believe it or not) of players now long gone, are another example, though I've been fading out of the realm a bit as my work life has accelerated. If you pay attention to MD, you soon notice that there is no night (yet?). The Moon appears in a few places, but they're not easy to find and it is quite clear that the moon of MD is different from the moon of Earth. Moon Knight? Ridiculous! (and also the name of a comic-book superhero, which I later learned to my dismay) But the Eclipse is, though wheezing a bit and host to a number of semi-comatose fossils, still alive. Not necessarily because it is a good idea. Not necessarily because it is appropriate to MD (which could be a whole other thread). It lives because a few dedicated people still care about it, and some are even writing new material. Both Bob the Tree and the CoE can be and have been flashpoints for (or closely associated with) events in MD, and that's the beauty of MD. This is one of the very few games where players can change the scenery a little bit, and we should all be grateful Mur is open-minded enough to let us play in his sandbox.

Rendril reacted to Chewett in SoE's Neutrality
The Seekers officially reside in Marind Bell. So as such they are a part of Marind Bell.

But, They are a more neutral guild and less affiliated with Marind Bell than most land alliances. As researchers we must try and keep our neutrality to make sure we do not sully the research with biased land based points of view.

We do not demand members are loyal to the land, but that they merely must respect the land rules and monarch as a leader, if not their leader.

This allows people from other lands to Join SoE once permission has been gained from their monarch, as a temporary or permanent position.

Any appliactions from people outside Marind Bell will need to be dealt with differently, so if you apply please make sure you mention this at the start of the process.

Anyway I'm looking forward to see the outcome of this cause you're battling the wind mills
