Yes, apologies, Rhaegar. It's true, it was Lightsage who gave the suggestion about resources. I changed the post. Anyway, continuing on-topic age related solution to adepts is indeed a wonderful idea. However, i reckon it'd be better if more weight is given on players with more age, considering they hardly change their adept choice(due to loyalty to a person who introduced them into the game, due to the fact that no everyone could actually teach you more at the level, etc.) and having less weight on new players. Now the exact ratio should be considered if everyone agrees to the idea. Elthen
I disagree, its about 50:50, there is a group who stubbornly wont adept anyone helpful, and some that primarily swap between many. Im normally in group 1, and my reasoning is no one has actually ever come to me asking me to adept them with a good reason. Iv got the usual spam that people send out, and thats just spam.
As for judges, since you cannot log on to a pc, (weird though that bugs@magicduel.com cannot log onto a pc or wait till he gets his hands on one) The judges are Burns and Kyphis.
I have family, i got visit them, i travel, surprisingly i have a life. [many rude words removed]
Princ Rhaegar gave a very curious idea on involving Protectors with lands. That's by giving them the power to regenerate resources more quickly(due to a spell of sorts) or making others gather more resources for a limited time, let's say, just to name a few. I'm not sure about my opinion on the matter. You could state yours.
There was discussion of having Land protectors with the planned tag system. But it appears people do not feel the system is worthy of work so it is being worked on later rather than now. Along with intergrating the treasuries into lands, HC rewards into them, and monarchy/leadership/merchanting situation into these tags, along with more uses of resources and additional abilities for tag based resource gathering. Making lands much more indepdent of Mur and the council essentially.
As for the judges, the names of both the judges are pretty clear from the score cards. Nothing about them is hidden. you just need to know where to look.
Then i didnt see why you bothered to hide then and not state them? i couldnt access the google docs on my phone and therefore would have appareciated it if you explicitly named them. Thank you Rheagar for doing this so that i may know who it was. To me it just doesnt make sense to not tell the order of the winner and tell me to go find the logs. It seems a waste of my time to do this and then post the results when you could just post them,.
-
What is the reason for not revealing judges and actual order of the winners? I don't see a reason for this and the only ideas I have suggest ulterior and perverse motives in respect to fairness. I hope you can clarify the reasoning.

True / False: 4. Did the availability of gathering tools bothered you ?
So far I have taken part in many memory stone trades and I must say, the price is very reasonable after some negotiation, if something is charged in the first place. Usually it's timeless dust (won't state the amounts) for mem stones, but once I paid a silver or two for 15+ mem stones.
I have never had this experiance, and in the most part i have had people attempt to charge 1 silver PER memory stone, stating that "its not my fault, its GG law" -
ideally i need a couple to identify the subnet that is used for the area, Please contact me those that are identified as an alt of you wrongly via email or pm.

Anything is possible, If we can put credits in, we can take them out. You just need to be crafty. If there any Others thoughts where the others should go? Perhaps a fund it help those creating art for items pay for the item uploads?

Since i see no other responses i will have to assume that no one else has any other comments, and therefore i shall go ahead with the organisation element added onto it.

There is currently a possible issue with some backend MDScript that has broken due to config changes. Its not necessarily location error, and more possibly issues with the MDScript. Ensure you check your code and read the errors as it may not be the location code
Not only CF affected. I read on BBC that other networks received over 100gbs load. The attacks were epic.
Im only joking BFH, but during this period CF was their main target in an attempt to remove spamhaus, thusly we may have suffered issues while this was going on.

if you can get a number of IP addresses, or even a range of them used for said wireless this would be helpful. Google "whats my ip" when using it and post the results. Its likely to be a /24 or a number of them.

also have you any specific times this is occuring?
After some checks I found that the server might be choked up with requests from MD:
I feel this is probably unlikely, based on the logs. And more likely to be issues between the you-CF-MD link
- I found ajax box.activeitem.php has even request that never end
Meaning that, the request was never properly completed and was dropped? the TCP connection never properly connected?
- requests to ajax like ajax.livechat.php, sesflashvars.php, ajax.onlineusers.php are quite often, sometimes even more often then 1/sec and with times of 8-11 sec / request
You seem to be saying two things here. "sometimes even more than 1/sec" You are saying that sometimes those requests are more than one a second? aka many times a second? "with times of 8-11 sec / request" Meaning that its having 8-11 requests per second, or its taking 8-11 seconds to complete each request?
fine chew. Set up a neutral poll. The options in this poll were what people told me directly, bout what they thought bout the quest. Since you think it is biased, and i don't know how to set up a poll, please set one in the exact same format.. I want those exact questions answered.. Please teach me.
From your reaction, i get the impression that you feel that it is entirely neutral and fair. If so then there is little point in me trying to convince you, since i am wrong. If you are truely interested in learning i suggest you look up a likert scale, what leading questions are and more general information gathering techniques. But i do not have time to worry about attempting to make a poll nice and fair, but i will merely state that this one isnt. My opinion is just that, my own view. It doesnt mean anything to anyone else.
Love the COMPLETELY biased poll.
I would agree that the poll is biased and would suggest you create one that is neutral and therefore may produce helpful responses for you and others. The only elements of this poll that are useful are actually the comments.
biased? Lol. Why do you think it is biased? Even the people who didnt join the quest say anything bout it being biased. I know why you found it biased. Becoz majority of the votes are against you.
It is biased. There is no argument about that fact. The poll is entirely prejudiced against Sieg and should be rewritten if you want any actual credibility. Either that or you believe the poll is neutral, and then you need to learn a little more about leading questions.
I was basically told if I wanted to give the LHO the credits then just to request they be given them and they wouldn't be lowered in the "account" because there wasn't a way in place to actually transfer the credits from the treasury to players. So the idea from my end was precisely that, to directly reward the LHO with the funds in the treasury.
That was Mur though no?
P.s. Does anyone know if the bathroom in the archives is still normally accessible?
should be, its under large amounts of AP though.
Edit: Also, does anyone know some more about the glassware in the archives?
Mwuhahahaha the plans move on
And i'd suggest 'time taken' to not be used, because of Einstein's argument. Maybe a fun/thrill rating instead. I can imagine many quests that go by quickly, but are no fun, and wouldn't think of them as better than quests that take long, but make people enjoy themselves.
The rating for time taken would be used to assess different types of quests, rather than how good/fun/hard it was. The assumptions that a short quest is better than a long one is silly, as you point out.

I believe you dont get Active days. A possible solution is to via login, then visit the main MD layout page, which "normally" gives you your active day. However i cant attest to that properly because i cant remember if it did work. However i agree this is not an idea or even helpful solution. But mobile MD needs a number of changes.
Since there were numerous people donating credits, I think they (at least those donated ones, we don't have to maintain the link for further donations) should be used as was planned in the general picture. So, credits given to LHOs for example, use them as pay, or for sponsorship of some LHO-glorifying event.
agreed on that front, i was in discussion with grido on that point a couple months ago

Note: This is talking about an older feature called the Treasury. This is different from the TK treasury and drachorns lair. The treasury allowed you to donate credits to a specific faction. At present there are only 3 factions you could donate credits to, the LHO's, the now defunct artesians guild and the Golden Globe Gazette. There is currently no system in place to get these credits back or distribute them, but that can be implemented later. Does anyone see a possible use for them? have ideas why they might be useful? complain that they used the feature?

A new Quest Voting page has been designed and is currently being implemented. This will be used to judge bigger quests such as MD Birthday events and can be used by any quest maker and TK's to judge quests they are sponsoring. The basic interface is available via a link on the topbar but it does not work at the moment. One useful facet is that it is anonymous and can allow quest makers to receive feedback relating to their quest easily from those ingame. A discussion has been created on the forum as to make suggestions to improve it or questions.
