The location of resources is something that i feel everyone should know, and i was glad to see that Sieghart would be releasing this data, And although there have been many comments asking when it would be released, why and such. It hasnt happened. So here it is, I shall be collecting a list of the resources at a location and posting it here. So, Slightly shorter but im back mostly. New ways to entertain me have been found, And luckily they do still include MD. anything can be send to me as im just another mod. I say it this way because not all accounts restricted by the altchecker are alts, some are different people accessing md from same network, others are accounts "borrowed" for active days keeping to friends (md tags them as alts then) others are not even that. This might be damaging for people that live in same place and can no longer exchange items in md, but the benefits of restricting alts from item/resources transfer are far more important. This should slow down (at least a bit) potential future abuses related to the shared tools acquiring and resource hoarding.

its obvious, If in the end one account which didnt have the goods, gets the payment its abuse. If you give the coins directly to him, he could still trade them away. If he bypasses the system then he should face the punishment. And yeah, if you are really worried send them to him or dont trade with him.

Yeah, i wouldnt really shout at the necro people for not using their historic documents, Since no land is using them, Nor have i seen the archivests writing up events and such. Spam does work... Hence thats why they continue to spam. The amount of "spam" email that is sent out, they make money off it so that it continues to do business. Its just a business, they don't sent all that Viagra out for no reason, people do buy this rubbish! Some of you may remember me asking for a show of response from anyone interested in being a forum mod. This was to gauge if there was anyone who would be a good replacement if anyone were to leave or other such event. Many of the people who applied did so becuase they "would help if help was needed" which is wonderful, however a little more dedication is needed (someone did quite honestly say "they wanted spells in MD, which is rather... at odds to what it is). But one person has been bothering me for a while, applying and re applying commenting that i hadnt "said anything" about their application. And however much he applied at that time we didnt need another mod. However things change and we must prepare, so he shall certainly be welcomed to the moderation team well. I want to Thanks Burns for applying these multiple times, and achieving a place on the moderation team, I offer him my congratulations and my best luck for his work. Thank you everyone else who has applied, if things go as they might, we might be needing another, so we have noted your names down.

Actually reverse image searches such as tineye work really well for large images. However if you try with the small avatars, finding the results has a much lower, if close to none likelyhood of finding them. This is due to the fact that the images are made transparent and turned into gif, a frankly horrible format for preserving quality. Back when there was a lot of avatar stealing, in Fenrirs case when he stole a bunch of images and claimed they were his own, i used some of these reverse images tools to check any other "suspicious" avatars, however using them i think i found one only due to the amount that the image had been changed from the original. These sites work well for many images larger than 300*300 but the smaller you get its harder to make a match due to the general algorithm used. In asking for the avatar to be converted to transparent, and MD added, you actually change a large amount of the pixels, since the background is the majority of any image, i did find more sucess by removing the MD and adding a slightly off white color to similate the "paper" it would have been drawn on. However even then it only produced a match on this one avatar, which was one we had already known about, which didnt help anyway since that was one that someone else had identified and i was checking if the tool actually worked. I think you will find, that using such a tool on the avatars, wont produce any results, even if the image is well known. But it is a good idea, if it doesnt work practically.

But you cannot infinately deplete a resource, It would follow a better pattern if there was a large reserve, say 100 or so, That would increase as a normal resource does.

Make it so there is a limit to gather the resources, and sounds really good.

Holiday ended monday, and a new leave of absence starts today, effective immediatly for two weeks. All questions regarding the forum should be first sent to any other moderator. if they need to they can then raise it with me by inviting me into the pm. I should only be contacted if the issue is secretive (regarding forum alts as an example) or if it is something only i can do (ban people properly, change forum settings, description and such) if unsure, about if a mod can do something ask, but secretive matters should go directly to me, for i will promise complete anonymity regarding any forum related issues.

localized issue merely meant that it isnt happening for everyone, so its something thats happening between your computer and the MD server. Assuming the MD isnt blocking your IP's then there isnt much we can do but suggest ways to help.

Similarly i have also been informed Chew Z has 5 water, again i will be removing it as soon as i can back to Nad. Chew A has transfered all his water to another account, Chew Z will be doing the same soon

One of the 5 Wishpoints that were provided by the council has been used to increase Vitality by 15% on Chew A, gaining a grand total of 400 extra Vitality. I am waiting on active day requirements to use the other ones. Currently Chew A is holding 15 Water and 15 Mineral water, these were given to him by Nad a while back without asking my permission first. They should hopefully be removed in a couple days to a better home. As i have made clear these alts are mainly for testing and should not have been given the water in the first place. Nad shall hopefully not do this again.
