Makes perfect sense samon, you get a reward for this. nice
-
makse sense, but how is wiiya used and obtained now?

These are personal notes you can comment to, It is how i plan to create crits out of items: Creature Fenth Encapsulator is the main rare ingredient to store a crit as a blueprint/capsule suggestion forked combiner mix for CFE: Memory stone, Timeless dust, Crystal, Ashes 1) create a Creature Fenths Encapsulator (sample id 120417) tag: tool creaturecapsule#RequiredHeat=20000;Resource=Fenths;ResourceQty=8;CapsuleName=Fenths - needs maybe a better name - how it works: heat to start working, then a creature ID and 10 Fenth - creates Joker Fenths if using a joker ------------------------------------ Creature-name Fenth should be obtained individually from other combiner mixes so you can create that creature suggested forked combiner mix for CrF: depending on the outcome crit, Joker: Colored Paper, Bones, Flowers, Vial of Blood, Syntropic Dust , (an ingredient to animate?) Joker Creature Totem (optional?) other: Paper, Golemus dust, Lonsdaleite Shards, Glue, Fat 2) Use or obtain Joker Fenths (sample id: 120460) tag: creature capsulereviver#Resource=Wiiya;ResourceQty=4; or Syntropic Dust for creation power? Getting a CFE is optional, it is used just to create new blueprints out of existing crits Getting a Creature Fenths should be the main way to obtain manufactured crits, not blueprints cfe Fenth are matter stripped by everything else, Heat is energy, power stripped by any identity (pure), Wiiya is identity stripped of matter and energy

Assira, be honest, did you think of this correlation i described when suggesting fenth or was just something that crossed your mind?
-
ok, i thought about it, here is my conclusion. First of all, because this is a major concept in md and fine-tuning it by picking the right words is essential and of long term impact, i will reward this. In general i reward wishpoints or gold for such things, but this implied little effort but more like a spark of inspiration, it will be gold. Assira the Black suggested the name Fenth, I realised that fenth, by their definition, ARE exactly this but without identity. Adding identity to a fenth creates exactly what i am looking for. The name capsule remains as a codename for this, because it is more clear what it does technically, it encapsulates information. Check this out: You obtail fenth with the reality coagulator, its description states: " Reality Coagulator tool description says: "Device capable thorugh its design to create fenths capsules. Reality receives a shell so parts of it can be contained in raw, unrealised form." Afenth is a capsule!, so a creature-name capsule would be a creature-name Fenth indeed. Fenth are: " Primordial formations that store elemental bricks of information. Fenths are the "stem cells" of reality. " So yeah all this fits perfectly. There is one issue however. I am afraid of what might happen with the cauldron when using a creature fenth because fenth are set to be universal replacements of any ingredient. I guess we will find out one day. Assira, i will transfer you a couple of gold coins as soon as i see you in-game. remind me. ----ignore below, its for my own reference ---- Creature Capsule - sounds like pill Creature Imprint - similar to spells, implies memory stones maybe Creature Memory - potential concept conflict with memory stone Creature Essence (miq) - alchemic style, implies two more ingredients Creature Soul (assira) - debateable if crits have a soul or are a soul Creature [name] Fenths (assira) - implies use of fenth and individual fenth per crit type Creature Silhouette (junior) - implies use of secondary item maybe creature soul

Death Dust ? hmm....its not fitting, but it might be an ingredient to the mix Ok i got enough answers, thank you everyone for your suggestions, i will think what to do now.

The Obsidian Mirror - Night Quest
Muratus del Mur replied to Aeoshattr's topic in Contests, Quests and Adventures
My comments where actually unrelated with the request to pin the topic. I will let mods do that if they considered. I just talked about if it is a permanent quest or not. I can be pinned even if its not probably, for a limited time... But my main concern was to explain how i see permanent quests, thats all. Ok about the "mirror" -
Creature Capsule - sounds like pill Creature Imprint - similar to spells, implies memory stones maybe Creature Memory - potential concept conflict with memory stone Creature Essence (miq) - alchemic style, implies two more ingredients Creature Soul (assira) - debateable if crits have a soul or are a soul Creature [name] Fenths (assira) - implies use of fenth and individual fenth per crit type Creature Silhouette (junior) - implies use of secondary item maybe creature soul update: i was saving this for an other post, but this one is equally good...creating a crit might have two ways, holding a now called capsule to fill with something and get the crit (both items to be combined in a forked combiner and hold in your inventory) OR, have one central item that uses one type of creature-something to create the crit
-
sounds too culinary lol
-
Creature stone?
-
Essence, good so candidates are now: Capsule Memory Essence (by miq) makes me think of the grasan ferment however
-
what if the crit its a baloon sort of crit lol .... blueprint no? ...no because its too much related to a color in my mind :))) capsule sounds like a pill, i dont like memory might be the best one but lets keep hearing your suggestions

not egg, not all crits have eggs. It will be used for the shmsh to lay eggs and the elucu maybe, but thats something else not framework, sounds so damn technicall

i finished today the creature encapsulation device it basically takes a crit in your inventory and creates a blueprint out of it, destroying the crit in the process. This si very useful, it can be used for creating crits out of items resource4s and heat, but also to store crits in a unique form, unlike the totems (there is a significant difference) For example crits in capsules can be MERGED tigether to obtain a better crit out of more similar ones....something totems cant do because totems are just a link to the ex creature. Or you could use it as a portable creature spawning tool, or create illusion crits with limited time, whatever, it can clone unlimited times whatever it has stored in its blueprints and/or alter the blueprints and then create the creature. Uses just start to expand in my mind. Tomorow or later today i will make it also be able to reverse the process, for now its just storing. However, the capsule is not remembering the identity of the crit it was created from, so the id of the crit for example will get lost (and will fix the age to get lost too) Question: is it called ok Creature Capsule? or better Creature Memory Creature Imprint Creature...something or it remains to its tech name "capsule"? opinions... or other ideas? must be something not in conflict or confusion with the other things in md I used "capsule" because that was the thing that i could think of from a t4echnical point of view....but i am thinking to name it different maybe, depends on your replies
-
thats mega helpful, the problem is that i can't follow every topic that turns to be a task... i might need to use a ticketing system to get more organized, because for example i open the topic now, but now i am focused on doing something entirely different, and then tomorow i might forget about it...hmm... i wonder how chew manages to keep track of everything he does, for sure he is way more organized than i am

Why resources get consumed in stacks
Muratus del Mur replied to Muratus del Mur's topic in Questions and Answers
Not at all. You are missing the obvious here. I can't participate in an endless discussion , whatever i reply to must eventually come to an end one way or an other. That is why when i see the "End" of the discussion or at least i conclude what i will do based on what we discuss, i notofy you that it has ended from my point of view at least. It is called efficiency. I have to follow and reply and talk in all topics i open, AND at the same time code stuff, AND think of the solutions that come out from what we discuss and how they integrate with everything. I didnt said now should be silence, i said in other words that i collected all info i needed to make a decision from this discussion and i personally end further communication on the subject. Now to give you more details: 1) a solution to split resources was provided in two forms, the one that matters is through wish points , obtainable by anyone (remember credits should always remain totally optional) 2) the way resources get consumed represent how i wish the gameplay to be ,..if it wasnt like this before it is because before there was nothing to do with the resources..its not as if i changed my mind or anything, but instead i just finished a chapter in md gameplay 3) The votes are clear and loud. You are talking in minority, but you are talking very loud and think that only what you say matters,..the same thing you accuse me of is what you are doing 4) I said clearly that I AM NOT INTERESTED IN NEW IDEAS REGARDING RESOURCES, because they main point now is to make functional WHAT IS not to derail with more and more open ends. Ofc it is easier to misinterpret what i say than to understand it, especially when it is not convenient. So again, that was the point, to discuss and setup the existing resources not to talk about new ones , instead to make what is more functional, clearer now? 5) this discussion really has ended on my part, but i will continue to read what people talk here. Ended means i concluded what i needed to conclude and your replies helped me find solutions to the problem, thank you.- 39 replies

The Obsidian Mirror - Night Quest
Muratus del Mur replied to Aeoshattr's topic in Contests, Quests and Adventures
I am not sure this can be considered a PERMANENT quest// a permanent quest would be a quest that can be supervised ultra easy and does not require your constant involvement. Repeating yes, advertise it maybe, but i don't think its permanent... please contradict me if you think i am wrong. Maybe show me you have this semi automated and that having just 3 slots is due to other reasons not because that is all you can handle at one time, because if so that is not really a permanent quest. there might be a language issue here, by permanent i always meant a quest that can run on its own...like the challenges i made, or something that can run unattended and just a judge to make sure the results are valid.....but again maybe i don't understand your quest? Also, there is weird rule in md, no mirrors. You can use what you have there, but mention is non reflective, i would deny/confiscate/reject any mirror that shows up in the realm out in the open..at most when it comes to mirrors i can pretend i don;t know they are traded or owned by someone. NO MIRRORS, ...by obsidian is non reflective unless is ultra shiny, so you must mention there somewhere it is not usable as an actual mirror, or if you need an actual mirror i am really sorry but this won;t happen. (the story and reasons behind this outrageous rule are there, and have their beauty trust me) -
hey, put my items that i sent also on that list and i am trying to find you for some crits but don't orry i will find you, do your thing don't wait for me Thanks

Something more... this is something i want to do, but probably will forget to do it all the time, so i post it here so you can correct or remind me when it happens. Objects made out of gold should have a note somewhere stating their gold weight calculated in coins. for example this: Massive gold statue (20 Gold) It means that statue its the amount of gold equivalent of 20 gold coins melted together. the craftsmanship for the object could make the statue worth more for example, but not less. One coin of gold should have its value in gold, not an agreed value like notes would have for example. For example you have a pile of gold , you just melt it together in a round shape of similar weight of a gold coin and you actually get a gold coin. I want gold to retain its actual metal value not a currency value, and will do whatever it takes to keep things like this. In case anyone argues its not possible, feel free to comment, in case anyone doesn;t WANT this like that, that doesn't interest me at all. We need a true coin out there, and keeping gold as the measurement unit for it sounds to me the way it should be. The items that use gold like the kill items are set to use anything out of gold, and everything in the future will be set in such way that gold coin is a sort of weight unit. Makes sense what i mean? (i could try to explain different if its unclear)
-
the value that i intend to keep equal to the metal value is gold, silver is the one fluctuating as the market or agreements desire. I still don't get it where the 15 silver per gold comes from, its intriguing. I am not saying i don't agree, i just say i dont remember where it comes from. From the values of the latest stats i see gold is more like 10 silver (right?) I wish to remove any written form of this currency exchange rate and let silver to gold ratio be rumor based so to say. People will anyway define a value for it and will probably remain 15, but i want to be clear i don;t want to name a fixed value in silver for one gold. ...and we are not even close to discuss diamonds yet...lol

item mix - Bottomless Toy Chest
Muratus del Mur replied to Muratus del Mur's topic in Work in progress
maybe, but my list is smaller and makes more sense, PLUS the intermediate items you create before mixing them all together have a role of their own, like the play cards. And there is no way in the mixer to get "random 100" items, so...thats how it is. Its not that bad really. -
Total creature type counts - NUMBERS
Muratus del Mur replied to Muratus del Mur's topic in Market debate and related topics

Total creature type counts - NUMBERS
Muratus del Mur replied to Muratus del Mur's topic in Market debate and related topics
might be a test, for sure there is none actually there, just an other ghost. yw -
i think its fixed now

For the collectors and for the curious, here is the distribution of creatures in MD, all time, minus the sacrificed creatures. Like the other stats it includes all of them, most are on inactive accounts probably but anyway its an interesting statistic. cid=creature type id, and nr is the total count regardless of level cid nr 0 1 1 135 2 26943 3 86085 4 6574 5 28983 6 71 7 43 8 35 9 9956 10 5756 11 6078 12 3497 13 556 14 14 15 1953 16 1030 17 35 18 5594 19 15 20 77 21 39929 22 37 23 18 24 469 25 54295 26 14 27 318 28 87 29 3176 30 236 31 1606 32 2401 33 1071 34 448 35 1212 36 162 37 335 38 257 39 324 40 11 41 7 42 6 43 10 44 8 45 12 46 11 47 4 48 9 49 3 50 7 51 10 52 475 53 29 55 65 57 51 58 70 59 79 60 90 61 263 62 100
