Bringin spells are capable of being attuned to a specific person. If you can find someone who from a roleplay perspective (avatar, RP history, character docs, etc) fits the role of being your war steed then you could possibly get a version of Bringin that is attuned to just that person.
Spell casting via items isn't restricted to just the explicit existing spells. If a spell of the same type already exists and the modification is appropriate, then modified versions of some (but not necessarily all) spells can be possible. Gotta have a strong enough argument to justify it though 😉

bringin and chase spells, and other admin spells will not be added to items , except if you have an item that is incredibly well suited to such a spell, via its name or description.
As i promised long ago, and i keep to promises, items description equivalete reality, so whatever the item name or description said, if that functionality is available, it will do that.

Items like "big red button" could be used for "emergency meeting" but this is just a possible use, the button could very well do other things, it is not bound to such a function, and since such a function is admin stuff, it will not do that. I will keep an open mind to allow it one time use of a massive summon spell or something, ..i am not sure if a one time use will be a problem or not.
Other items like "secret ingredient" could have a better use as a wildcard item in cauldron mixers.
Many items suggested here, like "super glue","Smoke grenade", etc , do not exist, so PLEASE only suggest items that do exist ONLY

Going through the replies so far, i could pick only these possible enhancements:
Blue Silk Boxer Shorts - boostbriskness

With the introduction of spell enablement through item possession as per announcement 5700, I thought it might be fun to talk about what sorts of items might be appropriate to add spells to.
    https://magicduel.com/page/Announcement/view/5700
While the assumption is most items won't get spells on them, that doesn't mean we should limit our discussion accordingly. Rather, if an item seems appropriate then I think it fair to include it in the discussion, and considerations like how easy to obtain it is should be discussed after. Just because an item has a common version available right now doesn't mean a rarer version can't be introduced - after all, if a version of the item is already in the realm it's not much of a stretch to contemplate something more fitting down the line.
Here are some of my suggestions:
    Locate
    Maps
    Binoculars/Opera Glasses
    Give Vital
    Healers kit
    Bandages
    Chaotic Boost
    Potion bottles
    Strange foods
    Mirror Ritual
    Mirrors
    Pure Water
    Move Lock
    Manacles
    Heavy Weights/Rocks
    Army of the Dead
    Bag of bones
    Cursed objects

p.p.s. It has come to my attention there was some grousing about this award.  MaGoHi had an inspired genius of an idea, eventually met all the requirements of the challenge, got political support for his idea from other players, and provided some serious entertainment on an otherwise dead day in the realm.  If that's not worth a wishpoint, I don't know what is.  I could hardly deny him a wp since he met the rules - THAT would be favoritism.  If you don't like the attitude his RPing portrays that's between you and him.

    Say what?
In my interactions with Mur, two principles have been made clear.  There should be a range of wishpoints available from easy to insanely difficult.  And secondly, every offer must be open to everyone equally.
For me to deny MaGoHi a wp for finding a clever way to solve the challenge would violate the second principle.
Bear in mind, this challenge sat on the forum for over a year without anyone even trying it (to my knowledge).  Frankly, as a practitioner of origami, I saw it as a very simple challenge, designed to get people doing stuff with MD creatures and interacting with others -- in this MaGoHi succeeded.  All MaGoHi's shortcut did was substitute a creative insight for knowledge of traditional origami techniques.

Thanks, @Fyrd Argentus and @Muratus del Mur. Your explanations help clear up some things for me. Appreciate the responses.
Oh, and what I said about "being the first to meet the requirements of the quest" doesn't apply in this particular case (I missed the dates on the original post, oops). But in general I think we should be careful about wishpoint quests being a race, particularly the easier ones. For example, it would be disappointing for a player A to miss out on quest reward because a quest was posted in the middle of the night for player A and player B happened to be in a different timezone and was able to complete the quest first by cutting corners.

Ok ... this deserves a detailed answer, to clear things, for everyone, i hope.
This reply is equally valuable to those receiving wps, but also to those giving wps... see it as something to learn from

First impression when i heard this, was... "close the gates, hide the buttons, Fyrd has gone crazy"...  but obviously its not so.
But..there is zero indication of recklessness in his decision, he was entitled to give wp for whatever he considered fit (in the hope he will follow my guidelines regarding this), and it was nothing suspicious or hidden in his actions. In this case, we need to think things more and at least try to understand the reasons.
When someone gets the ability to give wishpoints..it is EARNED. This also means that I trust that person's judgement to use wishpoints to shape activity in md, but also shape the value system overall.

What is the ultimate purpose of wishpoints in md? It is to unlock the most powerful things. They are the most potent attractors, but also a way of confirming ones involvement and overall achievement in MD. Wishpoints and medals are probably the highest form of acknowledgement, its MD's way of telling "you are awesome".
Because of this, they need to be treated wisely. It is not good and absolutely not healthy to the community to keep wps just something given for impossibly difficult tasks, but also we must not give them for trivial zero difficulty activities. It takes time to understand where wp place is in MD's balance, but an easy way to see it is this "Wishpoints need to be special".

Let me present you this situation from a different perspective too... lets put things in a balance:

    The good
    - This wp managed to put things in motion, get people active on a dead topic, and revive a one year old quest. Of course a wp would have revived anything an anyone, anytime, its their side effect, but doing this without falling in the pitfalls of favoritism or risking to be lame, its difficult. This particular use was bordering the symbolic, not the abuse, at least in my view.
    - I am happy that he remembered what i said about balancing easy wp vs difficult wp. There is a tendency to make a mix and keep things 'moderate', or even to forget to give an easy wp once a year or so, instead doing just difficult wp quests. I think about 25% of wps should be easy to get, but still SPECIAL, not trivial. To balance those wp's i give a a lifetime of hard work, just one symbolic wp.... its a balance

    The bad:
    - Giving a wp for crumbling a piece of paper, is certainly NOT what i had in mind when thinking of this wp system. Old players would turn in their abandoned accounts if hearing a wp was given for this. I think Fyrd failed at presenting his decision the way it deserved to be presented, but then again, maybe he considered he is not supposed to offer such explaining.
    - The really bad is that this filled up the need for super easy wp for the entire year, but offered a wp to someone that could have earned a difficult one instead, missing to give an easy wp to someone with less potential, to solidify the community better.

    and the ugly:
    - It looks to me that the winner of the wp did not participate to actually win it, so the wp reward was kind of a stretch to conclude the quest. I am not sure if this is good or bad yet, but it is ugly. I can't think of an other way to do this to avoid it being ugly, so i might have done the same.
    - we, those that can reward wp or code a wp reward in a25, must find it easier to decide when to leave a wp quest without a wp reward. Having no one left to reward does not mean that person should get it all, at least not when it comes to wp...other rewards maybe.

Wishpoints should be given for a wide a range of opportunities. Its important to avoid giving wp just for the most elaborate and difficult to solve puzzles, same as it is important not to give wp just for too trivial things such as this one. There is room for these extremes however.

I think Fyrd managed to play with fire successfully and give a wp that was so absurdly trivial that it was special. By doing this he completed the balance of "easy to get" vs "impossible to get" wishpoints. I am sure he will not follow this by an other easy wp, and that giving a wp for the 'crumbled piece of paper' was a premeditated and well planned act.
That being said, this wp will not be confiscated (in case anyone wished that).  One thing i would like to remark about this, is that next time one gives an easy wp to someone, should make it less possible to achieve it fast, and less out of desperate need of finding a winner no matter what.

The Anniversary is a time for formal events and one of these is the signing and approval of the formal MagicDuel Title Documents.
Mur and I have prepared this one to be issued on the 17th Anniversary of MagicDuel.

This document gives full rights over all decisions relating to the land of Loreroot in Aia's role as Queen. This is awarded after gaining the respect and support of the land and the MagicDuel Community.
This is dated Day 49, Year 17 which is the official date her reign began.
Aia will have the chance to claim the document and have it sent to her or have it stored in the MagicDuel vaults for the time being.

I grew up in a very toxic family environment, which resulted in a serious inferiority complex, among other things. After I grew up and started working, I have noticed that I'm simply... doing better than the people who were criticizing me all my life, and the people I was compared to all my life. And not even by a small margin. Shockingly, it wasn't even that hard. And, I'm just getting started...
After some years, the people criticizing me started to die off, or wrecked their own lives in various ways. The cousins I was "competing" with are all living underwhelming lives, and I hardly meet them anymore. It's as if their opinions never mattered in the first place.
Basically what I learned is that you shouldn't define yourself based on what others think. Though this can be hard when you are still a child and don't have any point of reference apart from your immediate environment. You define what you can and can't achieve. Since most people are not actors, but only reactors to outside events, you can make an awful lot of change in the world just by putting some effort in it every day.

I learned to choose wisely what challenges to face and what challenges to just leave alone cause they will disappear sooner or later. I learned I should not quit, if a challenge becomes too hard. And I learned that time is the most important thing to consider when trying to overcome a challenge. Time heals wounds, time makes things harder sometimes, time changes people and time will, one day, overcome us all.
And another thing I learned from that particular challenge is that people normally don't change to the better. Because changing to the better is a very very hard thing to do, no matter what one is beeing told by the media or other people: changing to the better is a really hard and long process.

I learned that people have behaviour patterns, that lead to situations they can never get out, or are doomed to repeat over and over. These patterns are rooted deep in their past, sometimes its not even them that caused the reason for their patters, but it was their anchesters.
I discovered this about others, just to realize my patters later. Its very hard to see something about your own self, because you have to face a truth you can't admit. It is much easier to see it on others.
The challenge was to be able to think truthfully enough about myself, to notice these patters and admit them, understand them. Its one thing to realize them once, and an other thing to live with the awareness of them constantly.
If you think fast about something that might be a pattern in your existance, its easy to come up with several answers, but thats just the internal defence telling you things you can accept thinking, its not always the truth.
Its easy to think of your flaws like "I am too good to people that hurt me"...or this kind of miss europa kind of shit, but its really really hard to think of yourself as "i am too chicken to change my partner, so i imagine that i like him/her"..or "i'm just plain ugly, not a special kind of beauty" kind of things, without imediately finding justification for the bad things.
I won't detail my 'things', ofc these are personal, but they are there, like in anybody else... and most of the time its a constant challenge to be honest with yourself.

What i could tell others about this, is that you should consider this a constant journey. You build something, in yourself, and every time you are honest with yourself you add an other brick. The real challange is that most of the time you realize that this construction started long ago, before you decided to be honest with yourself, and now you have to deal with design elements you can no longer change. From this point forward, its a lot one could say..but its offtopic here

This quest is simple, but also hard as it requires some introspection.
Think back to a challenge you faced in the past, you don't need to tell us what it was. What I would like to know (posted here publicly or via PM) is that once you had overcome that challenge (or failed to overcome it) what did you learn about yourself. In addition, is there any advice you could give someone about overcoming a challenge they may face?
You don't need to tell us what the challenge was (as some may be personal) but thinking and learning about oneself is always important.
If you would prefer to keep your experience private, feel free to PM it to me or someone else and you can be given the reward.

I must say the print in this picture is nothing compared to the details on the 3d model, really really well done.
We made a deal me and Seigheart, he gets to print and sell the models of the md world he creates (i understand there are more to come), and MD gets to use these models in any way we need. I am thinking how many people in this community have access to a 3d printer, or at least how many would be motivated by a quest that involves learning 3d editing and/or printing.
Over the years many people learned stuff due to MD that helped them later in life, why not 3d skills. ..I have to think about this well, my response will be proportional to Seigh's involvement, its up to him if this remains just with this awesome drach model, or expands into something else. I will be open to future collaboration.
If someone can bring a skill he has in RL and use it in MD, i will always support it. This quest was about getting you to DO something, and make you understand that this rare creature can be obtained if YOU create it, with your own efforts, and in your own way, because in life, only your own way is important and you must learn that the things you do and put passion into, have power and create your reality. I am seriously thinking of extending this "build yourself" quest to a majority of things in md, but i will think about it some more. Opinions about this from all of you are welcome, send me PM, lets not flood this topic.

Recently I was approached by a conglomerate of Shades. They seemed uncomfortable to see people inside Necrovion.
I tried to explain the terms of our agreement: sacrificing a personal item gets one to stay one week.
Although eager (so to speak) to get personal effects, they didn't seem to get the concept of "week"...
So, I'm afraid I need your help here: how would you explain Shades what a week is?
Your submission can be written, sketched or whatever you wish, just keep in mind it should be understandable to them.
Please post it in this thread before Saturday 30 April - 23.59 s.t.

Submissions will be judged by a shade ambassador who'll remain anonymous and by myself.
Rewards depend on how many entries we get: for sure there will be huge amounts of gold; if we get 5 submissions or more I'll toss a WP as well.
Have fun and happy MD birthday!
