1. Close please.
2. All I'd like to say is that you CAN do other things during story mode, such as researching things, if you're prepared beforehand and set up some people to talk about it with, or you can make an alt and do normal stuff.
3. I will close tomorrow, most likely.
4. Peace WAS dead. Now she's back. Mur brought her back during the Festival, or Christmas or something >>
5. In response to Burns' paragraph about ally-people, I am in an alliance, but there are lots of people who can beat me up. The difference is, I generally avoid them if I don't want to lose, which is rare because I know how to protect myself. I've beaten Burns, and even dst in fights (when they were using training rits...shh don't tell >>), and they've beaten me. I don't mind. The game isn't about winning fights, it's about balance, unless you've forgotten. MP5 is not supposed to be easy. You are not supposed to be able to just advance and be able to beat anyone you fight with. That's what growth is. That's why you can reduce EXP at MP5. The reason you're still scared to move up is because you're probably capped and aren't growing or getting stronger. You're just sitting there, and until you advance to MP5, you're not going to get any stronger. As for Reins, Rusties and tokens, those are easy enough to get, if you either support the game (buy them), vote for free credits diligently, trade for credits, or even just get lucky. If you don't like tokens, and don't want to buy them, then that's your choice, but don't complain when the players that have tokens start beating you up. You have the choice of getting tokens. If you think of MP levels as skill levels in a chess competition, beginners play against beginners (MP3), moderate (or whatever it would be) plays against moderate (MP4), skilled players play against skilled players (MP5), and the masters (vets) play against whoever challenges them (alliance members). Applying this to MD, right now, beginners and moderate players can become as good and better than the skilled players and masters through GGG. If a moderate player beat a master, would the judge (in this case, Burns) allow the moderate player to continue playing against other moderate players? If you can beat all the other moderate players, and become a skilled player, should you be worried about the other skilled players? Yes! They will beat you, because you are used to playing against moderate players, and you won't know as many techniques as the skilled players. Just because a few skilled players beat you, do you give up on chess forever, or do you practice more, get better, and come back to challenge the skilled players again? See here for a possibly clearer explanation. Yes, that was a long post/rant. Haha.
6. Clear cache and refresh [s]always[/s] usually works for me
7. MP6 is a special level. You can only get there if you meet certain conditions. At MP5, you can reduce your personal EXP, so people can stay MP5 forever.

9. Or just get draches and angiens and tokened creatures. As they say, if you can't beat them, join them.
BUT the only real reason for staying in mp4 should be that you'd be interested in winning the HeadContest Because you can only beat it once in each mp level, it has great rewards and would also be easier in mp4
For one, you can only win heads once, not once for every MP level. Secondly, heads is basically a complete joke at MP5. Almost everybody has already won, and so almost nobody can take your heads. People can win completely by accident.
10. It totally depends on what you feel like at the time of...eating. If I want something really sweet that might make me want to go throw up, sure I'll eat a cupcake. Otherwise it's muffins, even though I don't eat those much either...I don't know why, but I've always hated fruit chunks in things...yogurt, muffins, cookies, pies, jello, smoothies, etc...especially coconut...I have never eaten coconut and not gagged on it D: So yeah >> PS: There's already a "null vote" button, there's no point in having it as an option.
11. I remember, when I was MP3, people told me "MP4 is harder than MP3, make sure you want to do this", and then they told me the same thing when I was at MP4 "MP5 is harder than MP4, make sure you're prepared" and all I did was shrug and click the button. I did end up spending quite a while thinking I was the weakest and that I was never going to get any stronger, but eventually I realized that nobody is the weakest, and if you try, you can and will get stronger. Besides, fighting is only a part of MD.
12. Pipstickz, MP5, Seal of Six, 600+ active days Signing up for day 1, 2, 3, 4. List: MRWander, Granos, MRD, AqlBeast, Khalazdad, Renavoid, Ailith, Cryxus, Grapefruit, Zleip, Udgard, Burns May not be able to make every day, but I'll try all I can >>
13. I remember Akasha saying once that the Libs are allowed because they are part of Liberty's role, which, I suppose, was having lots of alts. I also remember her saying that nobody else could claim such a role and still be in line with the rules. I believe that yrth is simply using the Libs as they were intended. Though, Mur may not feel the same way. Why do we have to turn every issue into a flame war? Why can't we just sit back and see if Mur does something about it? If yrth had gone ahead with this training ground, and Mur hadn't liked it, yrth would be punished and life would go on, but instead we just have a bunch of people yelling and making drama. So instead of a possible answer to the GGG, we get this forum thread. Horray.
14. Yoshi.
15.
regarding who should have the keys, I want the experiment to continue, it should be a less popular, but devoted character. No celebrity will get the keys. Player should not have any significant Alts, He should have enough active days, and should show from previous activity that he is involved and cares. I was about to pick someone, but since you showed initiative, let's see who You pick.
See the bolded information.
16. She spends lots of time at the SG as well.
17.
UG has no real ruller
Neither does the Tribunal, so by your logic, the Tribunal alliances have no right to any land-based items. I believe that this is being seen as a huge responsibility when it's not. It's just access to a room where you can use chat without worrying about anybody seeing it. No matter who is chosen, somebody with the spells Grapefruit mentioned can still ask to be let in after somebody has left. So really, the only thing I want to suggest right now is that spells have no effect in the room.
18.
I have to have a reason to jail someone, the use of an item it seems does not. So very different issues.
Actually, you do need a reason for using an item. If somebody goes around stabbing people for no reason, then everybody will start to complain, and remember the rules?
Main things that can get you banned: Any repeated complain from multiple unique users will get some kind of unwanted action on you, try not to offend people, or to cause a mess in general
Now, about the idea of somebody scripting an item to kill people; Why don't we just go and ask somebody to try it, and see what happens? Because there ARE ways to find out instead of just making another eight page topic full of people complaining and arguing. EDIT: Just in case somebody says "Well, unwanted actions may not matter to Ivorak, or whoever else may have a shiny item", remember what happened to that MP3 who got a tree for Christmas and started regening other MP3s? He was banned. Imagine what Mur would do to somebody who stopped lots of people from actually playing the game, even if it was for a short amount of time.
19. Do your reading, phantasm.
[2010-01-10 00:24:30 - Alpha 9] Private location On public request, there is now a location where you can talk _anything_ you want and have total privacy. Sunny Bedroom, inside Tribunal lands, is the new private location where your privacy is 100% guaranteed. You can rent the room for several hours by contacting Elthen Airis. No more than two people can rent it at the same time. The rules of that place will be presented by him and you can also find them inside the room. The room can be opened with a key, the first usable inventory item in MD, that will be borrowed to you when renting it. In the next days, features such automatic clearing of chat on entering/exiting the room (acusticremains will not work either) will be added to fully protect your privacy inside that room. Nothing said inside that room can be used as evidence or against anyone regardless of whats said. Nobody will monitor it at all. For full details read the rules there or ask its keymaster.
So yes, dst is right, anybody who is active enough and generally well known would be a good choice to hold the keys.
20.
Thats the problem for all of u, u guys just see the topic from the MP5 eyes without try to remember how the lower level struggling for survive...
So you and other older people should make it easier for them? Sparring Grounds are a great place for MP3 and MP4, but do any of the vets help that place? No. Simply because they can't benefit from it themselves.
21. Ha. I had that, but I got rid of it. I win.

22. Not sure what you're talking about, KB, because MD is not about the forums. How often does Mur read the forums? As far as I know, he only reads it if somebody asks him to, and if he listens. Also, there is MP7. I've been MP7, as have many other people, during illusion testing. Grido and Peace were both MP7 for a time. MP7 may not be a public stage, but it's still available.
23. Yes, because the last two sentences of a paragraph define the whole thing. As for Poppi's suggestion: Giving EXP for non damage fights is a ridiculous idea. It may limit the amount of GGG training you can do, but so would closing the GGG, just with different effects. It'd make EXP much too easy to get, and just gives people more reward for no risk.
