1. I had the same issue during birthday parties in knator house, there's an easy workaround. Put a '.' somewhere in the restricted phrase and it'll work, like this:
(locations 7_knatyvacationhou'.'se_2)
2. There we go, it's over. Jason V didn't show up, Lone Wolf won over TTL and gets Shadowseeker, a 400k heated grasan. Apophys fought bravely over 2 rounds against Shadow, but in the end, Shadowseeker managed to claim the WishPoint. Congratulations!
3. Bah... can't you just keep to the schedule? How are we supposed to ever make this a uber-cool event with cheerleaders and stadium atmosphere if you don't fight at a set time?! *sigh*
4. Before you get too used to fighting just against one person at a time, I'll go and announce a radically different competition for a change The objective of the Honor Competition is to reach a certain amount of honor, nothing more, nothing less. For doing that, everything is allowed, except for leaving the Sparring Grounds during the game. There is no need to sign up for this competition. I'll announce the time a few days ahead on the forums, and again in the mood panel a few minutes before it starts, together with the amount of honor you'll need to achieve. I'll be present at all times during the games, logging out or leaving the park leads to disqualification. If something seems fishy to me, i'll do a locate on you to see if you've left the park. Maximum duration of a game will be 1 hour, if nobody gets the exact amount by then, the person closest to it will be declared winner. Clarification, due to complaints: This means, whoever is closest at the time the contest ends, NOT whoever was closest at some point during the competition. ONLY values stored in the last minute count for this plan B-rule! To win the competition, you'll need to win 3 games. We'll see how long it takes During the competition, a button to save your honor on the signpost will be available. Only honor counts saved there count for the competition. Spells to send somebody elsewhere don't disqualify their targets, but their casters. Rewards depend on participation as usual. The first game starts on Sunday, 22:00. (Maybe a little later if the finals of the aura competition take longer than expected) Good luck to all participants, and have fun First round, May 08, 22:45, goes to Ravenstrider in less than 20 minutes: Ravenstrider 1059 23:04:09. Congrats!
5. I'm not against new ideas, i'm just saying that i wouldn't buy an expensive suit just before losing 100 pounds, but rather get one after i'm finished
6. Or we can wait and see what Mur has planned for MP6. At the moment he implemented the MP-requirement, he also said that MP6 creatures can currently be considered unreachable, until the pending changes are finished.
[2011-03-04 14:15:58 - Stage 10] Creatures require MP level to advance! Creatures will require from now on a minimum MindPower level do upgrade depending on their level. Some will be upgrade-able at MP3 but most levels will require a higher MP. Important: MP6 requirement Some rare last levels of powerful or rare creatures will require MP6 to be upgraded. Currently this is a problem because of fighting at MP6 and because this MP level is currently aimed for an other purpose. Future updates about this are pending, until then, these few creature levels that require MP6 can be considered non-reachable for now. As usual, your opinions matter, but only if you speak about them, on the forum.
So, yeah, i don't expect MP6 to be what it was in the time from Savelfuser to now for much longer, what's the point in implementing a new, either almost pointless or grossly abuseable, feature for the time in between?
7. heh, by no means did i refer to the game-stat loyalty... Maybe integrity or allegiance make the better word for what i meant. Sound a lot fancier, too.
8. I like this thread, a little more than Shem's even because it's obviously not a joke this time. I mean, who wouldn't like a list with the people who sell their loyalty for a coin? Makes my life as ally-leader and quest creator so much easier...
9. I'll wait and see what happens til saturday, if he's not free by that time, he'll be removed.
10. Happy B-Day, favorite mount of my childhood
11. Don't worry, i'm planning a lot more of those competitions... And will keep them top secret until a week before, of course > If i were you and wanted to play, i'd get me some slots and keep an awful lot of creatures in stock for the various events
12. <-- lols his head off Sorry if the drawers and bed gave you an idea of randomness, they are bits of my birthday party quest which i didn't feel like removing just yet. So, yeah, it might happen that you stumble over a player quest that doesn't make any sense at first glance, either
13. Okay, time for a schedule. MP3 doesn't take place due to lack of sign-ups, sorry Passant. MP4 is just manned with 3 people, so there's just one price, Clockmaster, my 800k heat grasan. MP5 has 12 participants, so I'll see if i can get a WishPoint again, else there'll only be a gold/silver price. To the exact rules: You're not allowed to use any creatures that have special influences, aka auras, or tokens. Influence is not allowed, either. Additionally, Energy Burns are not allowed. Spells and Combo are not allowed in the group fights for MP5, for semi-finals, 500 VE Combo and one spell are allowed, for finals, 1500 Combo VE and one secret spell are allowed. Concerning spells: The fight must take place while the spell is active. Spells that stop that form happening are not allowed (Attacklock, Invisibility, etc.). A spell that forces your opponent to use creatures other than his own is not allowed. The spell must be announced to the other party in semifinals, and it's necessary to wait until they are ready for for fight. In finals, the fight must take place within 20 seconds after casting the spell (both spells in case both parties want to use one in the same fight). That's enough even for a lame connection, and too little to set a different ritual even with good connection. The re-fight can be done during the duration of the spells, or you can wait for them to wear off to fight without spells, or with different spells. Only one spell of each parts choice may be active at once, though. (It's obviously allowed to have two spells on the same person, as long as one is of their own choice and one of the others.) Choose your spells wisely, there won't be a delay to get the spells of your choice recharged. Every combat consists of at least two fights, one attacking and one defending. If there's a tie, another combat takes place, until one person manages to win both fights of the combat. Mhmm... I think that's it. Also, all combats of MP4 run under the rules of finals. Starting now until Saturday, 7th, 2000: In MP5, we'll have 4 groups. Winners of each group advance to semi finals, winners of semi finals advance to final round. Groups are created by alphabet. Group A: apophys - Clockmaster: apophys wins! apophys - darrydabby: apophys Wins! Clockmaster - darrydabby: Group B: Eon - Evil East: Eon wins! Eon - Fire Starter: Eon wins! Evil East - Fire Starter: Group C: MasterB - Mithrandil: MasterB - MRAlyon: MRAlyon wins! Mithrandil - MRAlyon: Group D: Shadowseeker - VonUngernSternberg: Shadowseeker wins! Shadowseeker - xcerces: Shadowseeker wins! VonUngernSternberg - xcerces: Saturday, 7th, 2100, Sparring Grounds: apophys - Eon: apophys wins! MRAlyon - Shadowseeker: Shadowseeker wins! Sunday, 8th, 2100, Sparring Grounds: apophys - Shadowseeker: and (the whole <.<) MP4 competition: Jason V - Lone Wolf: Jason V - TTL: Lone Wolf - TTL: Please post the results of your combats in this tread. If somebody cheats and needs to be disqualified, please post a screenshot of it. I'll be around when spells are allowed, don't worry about my ways to handle that Good luck, people
14. Thanks a lot, to all who posted and to all that might be late I love you, folks <3
15. No praypower, that means 0% slider.
16. Initially i wanted to give out combo and spell rules last minute, but that'd obviously be a drawback for the folks with less battle experience. Up to semi finals, no combo and no spells will be allowed. In semi finals, combo VE of up to 500 is allowed, and one spell of your choice, which has to be announced before the fight. In finals, combo of up to 1500 is allowed, and one spell you can secretly cast. If you go over that combo, you lose by default. If you think that more VE would help you, feel free to build and prepare your rits accordingly. Your opponents might find out about it, that's the risk you run. No, you may not use influence instead if you can't meet the VE you'd like over normal max by the means of combo.
17. No. Maybe you'll find another competition more suited to your creatures, but if you have none without tokens, bad luck on this one.
18. For this event, you are allowed to use all creatures that have NO AURAS (=Special Influences). No pray power and no tokens for this event. Sign up here until Sunday, 1st of May, with your name and MP-level. Rewards are not yet fixed and will be announced when i know the competition. Please only sign up if you seriously want to play, and have time to do so in the first week of May. If this doesn't work out again, i'll have to charge an entry fee next time. Jason V, MP4 (ignore this, he just asked me to keep his name for the competition.)
19. For the sake of posting, i applied a while ago, as you're well aware
20. Have a good one, Al
21. Some vets might remember Apricot, the princess who was created out of boredom and my joy to understand how to code a button. Well, she has returned! Tonight after the 7 Differences Challenge, we'll meet in Knator's residence to wander on her traces once more. This is a quest for the whole Team Bunny. You need to team up and get your commander, who will be designated by your team before it starts, on the shortest possible way to Apricot, and solve the 3 (rather simple, imo) riddles on the way. Careful, you'll be limited on time for each piece of the way before it vanishes again. To lead your commander, you have to go ahead and finish the way with the choices you make. At the end, you'll see how many steps you needed to get there (some parts take more than 1 step, even if it's just 1 button you click). I'm not going to tell you what strategy you should use, but... i'd recommend you work together if you want to have a chance If you manage to get your commander on the shortest possible way and solve all riddles in the time limit, the commander wins a whopping 100 carrots to assign to his helpers as he sees fit! Don't miss this awesome chance to score! Edit: Innocent bystanders (Not bunnies) can enjoy the story and mini-riddles, of course, and just like last time, i'll implement a button to reset the story so you can experience another way once the challenge part is over.
22. Unlimited Number of participants per game, just one winner. The rules are rather simple. The host creates a set of dices (1 to 6), 5 for each participant, and then sends out PMs to each participant with 5 'dices' for each. In the end, you should give out all the dices created, obviously. The participants then start to guess, based on the limited ammount of dices they see, what's on the whole 'table' (all dices together). The lowest bid is 'one 2', the highest bid '# of participants times 5 6es'. The 1 is an ace, and the number of 1s is added to whatever value is being counted. Once the first bid is given, the next contender has to either bid more (more of the same value, or a higher value), or call the previous bidder a liar. For example, Bidder A bids 3 2s, then bidder B bids 4 2s, then bidder A goes up to 2 4s etc., until one thinks that the other has gone too far and calls him a liar. Then the host, as only person knowing all dices, adds up if there are that many of the called value, plus the aces. If there are, the bidder wins, if the bidder was over, the person who called him liar wins.
23. Burnsy, with 2^10+1 Active Days, wants to be picked. That's why you're going to pick him.
