1. Random thought, since i play Pokemon on my good old Game Boy again to pass time on duty: You could also consider giving creatures strenghts and weaknesses against certain other creatures, like psycho beats poison, if you know what i'm talking about, fellow freaks out there... e.g., grasan doesn't bother for archer's arrows, and is very strong against fragile creatures like hollow warriors. Ele is weak against a water daimon, but devasting against an aramor. Drachorn burns archers, but loses to the magics of tormented soul. Etc.Etc.
2. Because, when magic gets more common, silvertongue will be much more useful. Right now, the best you can with silvertongue is make people laugh, because the people with good combat spells will also pwn you without magics, but when battle magics get used more frequently amongst newbies, it's insanely helpful to break their spells for some time. And pretty annoying for them.
3. Based on the latest announcement, i think that the spent WP requirements should be increased when/if WP for days are actually implemented. I know as well as all of you that it might be ages away, but solutions never come it too early. Basically, i think that every requirement already in place should be increased by 3-4, probably in the very high cases up to 6 spent WP, plus some of the tougher spells, like mirror and deadarmy, and the more secret locations, like oak tower, sage's temple and berserker's charge, should go a little deeper in the shop, probably like 1-2 spent WP. As it is, the shop progress is rather slow, and takes a lot of work. That should stay that way, else people get stuff a little too fast and easy, imo, that spoils them. Also: Stuff like K docs, Location subtitles and silvertongue should get a limit of at least 8 spent, drachorn mutation like 13-14 spent. I'm very much against giving people such stuff as freebies just for logging in.
4. Well, if Hollow Den counts, it's not a real creature limitation anyways...
5. when did grasan turn into a lorerootian critter?
6. That's currently guardian_army's fault, Shadow. It creates a random ritual to give away, you don't have any influence on the creatures in it atm.
7. Happy birthday =D
8. I'm currently having similar issues with the new firefox, try opera, or downgrade to ff 3.6.4. It appears that our computers are too lame to handle the plugin container
9. would simple if-s do? like, [pseudo code] if (input=first answer) echo @content[1]; else echo @content[0]; if (input=second answer) echo @content[2]; else echo @content[0]; That's how i'm running the signpost in MDP, so the getting hands on the actual code would be quite easy. If that's helpful for you, that is.
10. That is stupid because (in order of importance) 1) Everybody can hear me 2) I have to listen to everybody 3) It makes absolutely no sense, nobody wants to talk to everybody at once 4) It takes away all sense of hiding 5) It makes (serious) roleplay impossible Most people don't chat in chat. That's not the point of an RPG. And nobody is so important that the things they do concern everybody, save for the staff, who has green. One of the most basic points of an RPG is to find the people you wish to talk to. Else it's just a chat client with pictures.
11. Our influence! Pah! Of course it's our goddamn influence, we have an ally! I mean, does it really surprise you that an ally with 2 out of 3 leaders and the recruiter being LHO holds up pretty much all the virtues Grido searches in LHO? Yeah, it is our influence you see there, but definitely not the kind of influence we need ingame tools for. We arranged with Yrth, and built things around our vision, and all it took was a few messages back and forth, basically saying 'I want to do that', and 'Okay, just keep this and that in mind when you're at it'. Because kings don't limit creativity, even when there's something personal between you. They just want you to not lose your roots, in case you need them.

Both of that is perfectly normal, and absolutely no reason to panic. I'd appreciate if a mod would pin that, or something, because that's bound to appear a few more times... XD
13. happy birthday, folks. Wherever you wander these days
14. Stop trying to watch my battles, and it won't happen again. Most likely.

your opponent was lucky enough to cancel you. It takes two to tango, there's not just your luck, there's also the other parts luck
In my head, it'd make sense in that way: All tokens are set to work with just 50% of their power by default. By being in balance you can improve your tokens to get full power, steps to and from balance working just like the bonus reward. e.g. perfect balance makes +50% on token power, summing up to full present power, 1 battle away from perfection makes +47,5%, etc. As added bonus, you lower the opponent's token power by up to 50% by being balanced. Same system as above, -50%, -47,5%... Figures base on present full power, which is assumed to stay the same and the base for all %-calculations. Example of how things work together: >Perfect balance against off-balance: tokens of perfect balance work with full power (50% normal plus 50% balance bonus [-the part they lose for being attacker in case]), tokens of off-balance work with 0% power (50%-50%) >off-balance vs. off balance: both sides have 50%, no boni for nobody >balanced vs. balanced: both sides work on 50%, each gets 50%+50%-50% (normal plus bonus minus opponents bonus) >perfect balance vs. 10 battles off: perfect has 50%+50%-25%=75%, 10 off has 50%+25%-50%=25% token power Sounds evil, doesn't it? I like that... Why that way? Because for any normal player, it doesn't make much of a difference if their tokens give them full bonus or half, the difference is not _that_ much, and they still could pick if balance pays or not for them personally. But if people want to play in the highest class with their fully tokened crit-boost rits, they have to play balanced, and therefore leave the newbies alone when they can't afford the honor-loss anymore. And if they don't get balanced, well, then anybody who is can make their tokens practically disappear for their fights. This is not nice, and a lot of people will hate it, but if one of my weird ideas still makes sense after i read what i wrote, it's definitely worth being posted xD
It's a little less evil with skillvampire working, but still evil enough. Me wants that, or an even better idea, implemented. Really.

I'm more for fixing honor and balance than add new points where none are needed.

You probably read the whole thing differently than most people, then. It's not about getting wp-codes to give WPs to people, which is pretty easy, but to get WPs to spend for yourself in wishshop. And the longer i play, the less i like giving WP solely for active days XD
19. here's one i don't understand: Just had a fight against Jose Estrada, him 0% influence, me 100% with 20k VE. I didn't use any auras, he had a vampiricaura (Priest1) and a skillvampire (ts1). He got a little bit of my VE, as expected. I killed him almost instantly, as expected. No damage against me, save for what the aura did. Outcome: Casualties: Enemy:100%, You:-9.9438778%, E lost: 4965vit; A lost: vit; I didn't steal life or anything, if at all, i should have lost VE to the aura. The fight was rather short, two of my archers dealt with his minions. I definitely didn't heal in any way. I bet that shouldn't happen XD
20. personally, obviously. As everybody does.
21. quite obviously a ritual is not the same anymore when a creature reaches a different level, therefore, ONE creature can make different rits on different levels. If they are different, one might be 'right', and the other 'wrong'. the tip is very correct when it claims that certain rituals are 'right', you just read it wrong. And... you hit the nail right on the head with that filter-idea =)
22. Happy birthday, I'll try to find a funny bug as present =)
23. The thing about quests is, they run for some time, are finished, and get put ad acta. There's no lasting quest for newbies, save for the loreroot guards and their side quests. I can try to keep that little tutorial there for some time, but i'll eventually stop bothering to update it, and definitely will stop to announce it, and it will lie just as forgotten as many other tutorials that were written over the time. And i would know, i have participated in the creation of several.
24. i'd lie if i said i was 100% certain, because i have no target to test on right now, but i think that the 'and remains with' goes for the protected, not the protecting creature. I'll edit once i find a matching target to test on^^ confirmed, the remaining VE comes from the creatures that were protected, not the creature that protected... it's just written a little confusing
25. Would a toddler even remember what we wished? And if so, how could he possibly read it? O_o Happy Birthday! *sends Wookie flying three times and gives him three chewing toys for his itsy-bitsy teeth)
