Hmmmm, even if Glaistig is a player from different time of my own, I fullheartedly agree with her post - perhaps, not in the same way she meant it but rather in my own interpretation of the post. Just recently, for example, had my own lack of understanding on the other side, in my discussion with one of the "new generation" players, when I showed "concern" about MD's development going "a bit" chaotic.

Yrth, maybe in an ideal system without bugs, bug abusing and such. From time to time, some bug with which you can attack offline people constantly swims out. Abuse of spells that were dedicated for moderating certain competitions or helping newbs... What would those wars actually show, you tell me, actually victory of one's land strategy, or "who has accumulated more privileges and game mechanics abuse knowledge"?

MD community is generally against spoilers. Lessons through tasks are much more appreciated (MD rules vise...), otherwise, you would have those tutorials on the forum already. Remember that MD is several years old, with a lot of fossils and veterans, such themes would pop up in the forum already, but they didn't due to mentioned reason. But, times change, generations replaced older ones, maybe this time it'll pass fluent.

Yes, but you are a veteran that, like most of others, mostly spend time on forums, searching for news, rather than in game itself. Tutorial is needed for those that are new to MD, who spend most of their time in game, rather then on forum. Tutorial Campaign Quest that I made is also announced along with other quests in "quests" tab up in the list of links in MD, and it has its own forum topic somewhere deep in the forums named "Tutorial Campaign Quest" So the only way if someone can't find it, is because they haven't really tried properly.

Lot of things that you want to be posted, are present in my Tutorial Campaign Quest, available 24/7 by starting at the Park's signpost...

It can't, in the context that you're applying, but I'm pointing out that this "identity" emergency button is not used for all cases, actually, it is rarely used, only in few cases it was used, while in most of others, "cold brute force" of take over was not putted anywhere near discussion table. What sense does it have when you apply it "only sometime"? I'm kinda sick of isolated cases... Edit: just to add that I don't really care much about the Shattered Illusions thing, my concern is about the implementation of the law.

Rendril, you explain that alliance seat is a part of identity, meaning that you could gain any alliance by combining the core alliance identity with yours, but reality tells us that it is something material that can be controlled by its leader via "buttons", history tells us of alliances that were destroyed despite their identity being preserved... Double standards, or "we'll figure out along the way"?
